The hosts were amazing.
The breakfast superb.
The communal kitchen was a great idea.
The fact that dogs were allowed and were welcome in the dining room.
Slept like a log
The rooms could do with a little TLC.

The Host was friendly and the Breakfast was nice as was the tea and coffee facilities . Also having a full sized Fridge in the room was a very nice touch. Room was very clean so can't fault that.
Bed was fairly comfortable although it was 2 singles put together so I woke up about 5am because the bed had sagged in the middle. I was able to roll over to the other bed and go back to sleep. If I had kept my single bed booking it would have been a disaster. Towels were like the ones your gran has - you know horrible brittle and well brown. There were 3 light bulbs in the room and only 1 worked. The room was like out the 80's and is is desperate need of updating. There was an 80's alarm clock and also a 3 bar heater which, considering how small the areas are where the sockets are located is a fire waiting to happen. I was at the front so the noise of the road kept disturbing me (although it's not as bad with the window shut as open) I came down to my car about 7PM and could smell Cannabis coming from one of the cars parked at the back and it seemed like there was a gathering going on. The Shower only had scolding hot so I had to miss that and the basin seemed to run out of hot water pressure when I tried to fill it up. All in All not a great night. I only feed back problems if I intend to stay again - and I have not done so this time.

Lovely guest house, lovely people. Clean, comfortable and a great breakfast. I would Def stay again.
The only thing that I would say is that the sheets are a bit perfumed and as someone with a sensitive nose I found that a bit difficult. Otherwise just lovely.

Nice breakfast.
Very noisy room. I couldn't sleep due to noise of very busy road. Landlady gave me earplugs which helped but I could still hear the traffic.

There was good parking, location was perfect and very clean and comfortable and breakfast was lovely
There Is always room for improvement.

Convenient location
There was no lock on the room door, I felt unsafe and unsecure. I felt my concerns were ignored. The original room I booked was given to another person and I was put in this other room. I wasn't able to sleep as I felt unsafe. I wouldn't go back.

A VERY VERY GOOD BREACKFAST

It’s a really cozy and comfortable Inn, the facilities are really nice, the rooms are very private and everything was very confortable. The staff was really kind to check me in a bit later and I really appreciated how kind Jenny was during my stay, a really pleasant experience.
It’s a bit far away from the city centre, but that wasn’t really a problem for me since I only spent one night there.

Third time stayed here and can’t fault the staff and facilities - like having a fridge and clean towels every day which I love. Also love that the hot water is truly hot!
Room has all you need. They have thought of everything.
Great flexible choice for breakfast and quickly served. Staff friendly and very helpful.
Hotel within easy reach of main roads in and out of Bristol.
On this occasion the bathroom wasn’t of the same standard as on previous occasions.

Easy location for where I was travelling too and from. Added bonus you allow dogs
After asking for a ground floor and being advised that 2 were together, when we got there, there was confusion. However ground floor was available for my parents but I was in the main building

Enjoyed the Breakfast very much but was a bit early for me. Had a fridge and microwave in our room which was useful
It was to far away from the city centre and it was very dated in the furnishings the fan was blocked in the bathroom so everything was wet after a shower and the shower head wouldn’t stay in one position had to hold it up

British traditional style and all clean. Excellent host Mr Alan, great full English breakfast provided. Quiet family rooms with ensuite which one double bed room and one triple bed room near the car park. The triple room have an other door direct to the car Park, it's the most convenience. Must come again!
Ask for hair dryer when you check in.

The room was clean and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was also very nicely organised.
Even though it was in the summer The room temperature was too cold and it could not be changed

I chose the property since it was near the highway, dog friendly and reading past reviews. I enjoyed talking to the hosts and they really welcome by dog and that made me happy. Breakfast was included in the morning which was so lovely.
Slightly isolated from shops but that didn’t matter since I was only there for one night.

It's was OK staff were lovely but the whole place was a bit run down could do with a lick of paint

Very nice hospitality in response to my changing check-in time due to schedule got cancelled owing to rainy days.
I like the neat and clean house and room. Also the traditional English breakfast served hot on time while I’m having a tight schedule to checkout.
Would be great if there is shampoo offered.

Staff were very hospitable, breakfast was great.
The condition of the room.
Furniture all old and damaged and overall in really poor condition, bed although a comfortable mattress the bed moved constantly and squeaked all through the night.
A lot of road noise through the windows to be expected as they are taped up with mould all around the frame.

The location gave us easy access to Bristol city centre. It was on a busy road but it wasn’t too noisy. Breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful.
There was nothing specifically to dislike. This was a basic B&B, clean, comfortable and good value for the price.

Plenty of parking and good value for money. Will stay again
Nothing, I had the penthouse suite complete with Velux. Some people might call it a loft conversion.

A great stay - really comfortable bed, excellent breakfast, and attentive owners. I was in a bit of a rush to attend a friend’s wedding when I arrived, so special thanks to Jenny for making accommodations on an earlier check-in time. Would highly recommend Jays to others.
