Clean, modern, location & on-site parking with very responsive valet team
Pool closed Memorial Day weekend for private events so this was upsetting since big reason we selected this hotel among others. Felt jilted.

Loved the location and the room was very comfortable. The front desk staff were wonderful.
The maid entered our room at 8:30 am even though we had clearly put the “Sleep/Do Not Disturb” sign outside. We felt like this was a severe invasion of our privacy (neither one of us were dressed).

Modern, new, nicely designed
Bed was a bit too soft

Good location
Prices at the bar are a joke

Breakfest was amazing, all the staff were extremely nice.
The street where the hotel is located gets REALLY crowded on the weekends, so it is a little loud. The events don’t go until too late, but if you can, get a room facing the other side.

Very nice location to come an enjoy a relaxing weekend. Great food spots near the hotel
1 thing I didn’t like about the property is no microwave

Great location, within walking distance to a lot. Great interior design & style and was very clean
The only negative I have to say is from the restaurant. I don’t mind paying for a good steak! But $78 dollars for a thin piece of shoe gristle & fat passed off as a New York Strip.
I know you aren’t a “Steak House” but if you are going to offer a $78 steak, please make it a better steak! Whole Foods is a couple of blocks away, go get a 28 day dry aged rib eye, or even make a a decent Wyagu for that price. Whatever you decide, please stop serving whatever it is you consider a steak.
EVERYTHING other than that was incredible, loved the diversity and flavors! Atmosphere and ALL of the staff were top notch

This hotel was wonderful. The lobby was tastefully decorated with an pool table available for use. They had free bikes at the property which we enjoyed. The pool area was also wonderful especially for the Texas heat. The room was comfortable and they provided extra pillows when we requested them. Would highly recommend, this hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants and bars.

Ana at the front desk was EXCEPTIONAL! She was so friendly when I called and got us the BEST room. I've stayed here before, but this time was my absolute favorite. The place smells so good and everything is spotless. Our patio view was amazing, the bed was so comfy and the pool was great! Food was wonderful. There's nothing not to like.
Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Stayed at Canopy's before and this one didn't disappoint.
The staff were wonderful and helpful.
Excellent customer service, despite some small unfortunate hiccups.
Very chic and all the amenities
Loved the Peloton in the room!
Breakfast service could be a bit more attentive. One morning I went for breakfast but it took so long to place my order I left and went to eat somewhere else.
Depending on where you need to be, it wasn't the most convenient location.

Convenient
The room doesn’t look like the picture and it’s not that nice for the price the bed is not that comfortable way to soft

The most comfortable furniture throughout the entire hotel. The sofa/daybed in the room was extremely nice to relax on and even the chair at the desk was top notch. The lighting was also on point, as was the bathroom.
ALL of the doors slammed themselves shut, so you could hear doors slamming closed all over the place. LOUD doors, I mean loud.

Front staff could be more attentive and inviting.

perfect location
the lights in the bathroom were motion sensor and did not pick you up while in the shower so they kept shutting off when in the shower

Excellent on-site restaurant Verbena is probably the most sophisticated eatery by far in that immediate vicinity. Serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and also cocktails, happy hour, etc. Cocktails were well-made, without skimping on the liquor. Menu doesn't bludgeon you over the head with Texan touches - in fact, food was pleasantly cosmopolitan. I would come to Verbena even if I wasn't staying at the hotel. Great outdoor dining tables. King room was more spacious than expected. One subtle thing that really stands out is the thoughtful room design - you know you are in the hands of a major hotel chain because the room, furniture and space really works for travellers. Unlike short-term vacation rentals or one-off boutique hotels with their showpiece nonsense decor that actually offer you no space to put your luggage. The location means you're right on the retail street with bars, pubs, etc. Whole Foods HQ is nearby for all your needs. Hotel staff very upbeat and super nice with any requests. Rooms feel brand new and very clean.
Don't bring a car - parking is crazy expensive and valet-only. If you are a light sleeper, please realize you're on a street full of bars and live music esp. on Fri-Sat-Sun. While the windows are double-paned, you might hear thumping bass faintly even if you are not facing the street. Nonetheless, the hotel is so well-designed that one feels relatively sheltered from any neighborhood craziness. Room provides variously-shaped tea bags (round pod kind, pyramid kind, and regular kind) but no electric kettle to actually make tea. There's a Nespresso machine, but it's the kind that is incompatible with tea bags (of any shape).

The product is really great. Very thoughtful design and layout.
The bed was terrible. It was mushy and sinks. Very disappointing.
Although there was no issue for us, guests should realize this is in an area of town that is constantly busy with bar and club activity all around so it is loud.

We had a red eye flight coming in and we were extremely tired. The staff who checked us in were extremely friendly and so accommodating — they let us check in early. Even if the room wasn’t available, the friendliness of the staff would still earned this great review.

The rooms are nicely laid out with a bathroom that is separate from the sink, enabling simultaneous use. Roomy luggage rack, automatic lights in the bathroom were useful at night.
There was a thumping noise at regular intervals throughout the night, like the sound of their lift, perhaps, or heavy equipment being loaded nearby.

patio looked beautiful but too cold to sit outside.
dumpsters being emptied early in the morning and waking me up.
