The owner Tania is very helpful and kind. She was flexible to prepare our breakfast quite early in the morning. Breakfast was great. There is a small garden where it is possible to park the car. The room is big, clean.
It's a minor thing, but the hot water flow in the shower was quite weak.

The room was really big and had everything we need. Tannia was very helpful and made us delicious breakfast in the morning. We really enjoyed our stay.

Tannia was so lovely and accommodated everything we needed. She is even helped with an overnight check in after one of our group arrived from the airport in the middle of the night. Rooms were large and clean, water was hot and we had an excellent breakfast in the morning. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Large, new, modern, well-appointed room set in a small garden behind a house (so it's quiet). Cleaned daily if you so wish. Very comfortable bed. Wifi is strong and shower is hot (two essentials for me!). The kitchen (containing the breakfast area) at the back of the garden is free to use, as is the washing machine in the laundry room. Bonus! Tania and her husband are a treasure trove of information regarding climbing the volcanoes in the area. In fact, when I mentioned Ruminahui, they (as keen hikers themselves) offered to take me to the start of the southern route. We climbed together for a while, after which they directed me to the summit. I got lost coming back (my fault!), but they waited more than two hours for me. Later, when I offered to pay, they said, 'It is a courtesy of the guesthouse.' A truly lovely couple. My experience in Machachi couldn't have been better thanks to them. One of the best places I've stayed in Ecuador. And I loved the ancient German Shepherd that greets you at the gate!
