Nestled between Wisconsin pines and birch trees on the shores of Lake Michigan, Flagship Manor is truly a gem in the woods.
Sturgeon Bay and the greater Door County, offer many Artist Collectives (The Pearl, Lightbox, ReClaimed & Co). You can check out a play at Sturgeon Bay's newly renovated theater (Third Avenue Playhouse | T.A.P) or go enjoy a show at the one-of-a-kind Peninsula Players Theater or under the stars at Northern Sky Theater. Door County is full of wonderful places to shop, galleries to peruse, wineries to stop and sip and top notch restaurants that start in Sturgeon Bay (CRATE) and go all the way to the tip of the county. We have two YMCA locations for those looking to get their workout in, use the indoor lap pool or children's indoor playroom/pool for those unfortunate rainy days.
Algoma offers a sprawling large sand beach, an arts district (Steele Street), an established winery, (Von Stiehl) a great Brewery (Ahnnapee Brewery), a true Wisconsin supper club (Hotel Stebbins) and an amazing high end restaurant (Son Of Skaliwags) not to mention all the brick and mortar businesses (we LOVE Yardstick Books) dotting the streets of the downtown; all without the crowds.

We were able to comfortably fit a family of 10. Everything was very clean and the owner was responsive. There was enough stuff to do to entertain my neices and nephews for the weekend (ages 7 to 13). The house also feels very private while being within half an hour of shops, kid's activities, and 2 state parks.

Family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home, only complaint was we all wished we had booked longer! Thanks!

We rented this space for our family (six adults & four children) for our son's wedding. The outside yard area was in need of TLC. The view of the lake was beautiful. The home had plenty of space. It was a bit of a fun maze with all of the doors and light switches. The kitchen met all of our needs as we had light meals at home. Plenty of seating options. The nice sized dining table allowed us to eat together and the kids played cards with their great aunt at the table. The beds were comfortable, and we had extra blankets. The TV worked but the DVD player didn't. But the big brother was able to find Cocomelon for his younger siblings! The free WiFi was great as most of us couldn't get reception on our phone without it. We utilized the ironing board. The kids (& adults) loved the air hockey table. It was great that there was a toy box and a game cupboard. We all loved the extra touch of the paper and cloth towels had accent flowers on them like you see on cruise ships! It was a fun and nice touch. We would definitely stay at this location again.

Lovely stay
Our family had a wonderful stay at the house. While we did miss AC at some points, there were fans (and we brought some extras) and a nice cool breeze off the lake. The outdoor space was great. The kids had lots of fun sitting on the rocks and getting splashed by the waves from the lake. Check in process was super easy and the house was very clean with lots of space. The beds were comfortable. Thanks for a great stay!

Just ok
No air conditioning; amenities were dated. Outside of the house was covered in bugs and spiderwebs. Gas bbq had not been cleaned in a long time

Spacious home and scenic
The Flagship Manor home was better than photos! Plenty of space for our extended family (6 adults, 4 kids). We didn't expect Lake Michigan to be right outside the back door--it was a really beautiful view. Good location and easy to get to and from wedding festivities throughout the weekend. Water is on septic tanks, but gave us no issues. No AC, but the lake provides a nice breeze. Cell service is not great in the area, but it's nice to feel off the grid a bit. Would definitely recommend this property for large groups.
