The pools, the cleanliness, the bars, live music
It was very damp in the rooms. Thought this was just the climate in Phuket, but then I stayed in a different hotel, and it was much more dry.

Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Der Service war Spitzenklasse.
Das hotel hatten ein gutes Frühstück Buffet mit wechselnen westlichen und Thai Speisen.
Die Dusche war etwas klein und die Tür ging nach innen auf, sodass ich als großer Mensch mich etwas dünn machen musste um die Dusche zu betreten beziehungsweise zu verlassen

Мы отдыхали в отеле с 9 по 15 января 2024 года -жили в двухкомнатных апартаментах на 7 этаже.
Построю свою рассказ на комментариях предыдущих отзывов.
Матрац -он правда жесткий, но спать это не мешало, было вполне комфортно, подушки тоже отличные. Кровать огромная, мы на ней терялись.
В наших апартах была индукционная плита -удобная в использовании, я пару раз готовила завтрак. Но скорее для удовольствия-еды вокруг много. Кстати, если пройти направо метров 200, будет 7 eleven, в чуть дальше огромный магазин типа Ашана.
Вернусь к апартам. Писали, что мало посуды -это правда. Один ковшик, одна небольшая сковородка, две тарелки и набор столовых приборов на двоих. Бокалов нет, только стаканы. Никаких дополнительных денег за пользование посудой с нас не брали -кто-то писал об этом.
Вид с окна у был на улицу, но в районе не шумно. У отеля два бассейна, у того, который на крыше правда мало лежаков и все время занято. Но мы туда один раз заглянули, всегда ходили на море.
Расстояние до пляжа есть, не 200 метров. Но путь комфортный по тротуарам -они существуют)
Аренда двух лежаков на Ката бич -200 бат.
Самый любимый ресторан Wine connection -вкусно и много хорошего вина.
Для завтраков Benedict (100 метров наверх направо от входа в отель ).
В апартаменты я бы вернулась еще раз.
Завтраки посредственные. Мы взяли один раз перед отъездом.

Ubicación. Cerca del mercado nocturno y de zona de restaurantes y puestos variados.
Habitación muy amplia y limpia. Las piscinas están muy bien y las instalaciones estupendas. El personal muy amable.
El acceso más cercano a la playa estaba cerrado por obras, por lo que había que ir andando unos 900 metros. El hotel tiene un servicio de microbús a las playas de Kata y Karon 4 veces al día.
El agua de la piscina principal muy fría.
En la piscina de la azotea siempre da el sol y no hay ninguna sombrilla.

L’hotel è moderno con camere molto curate (offrono 2 bottigliette d’acqua al giorno, teli mare e ciabattine).
Il ristorante dell’hotel propone delle ottime cene ad un prezzo veramente conveniente, consigliato!
Colazione molto abbondante ma il 90% era salato.

Beaucoup de positif et quasi que du positif : le personnel très serviable et offrant un accueil chaleureux , le petit déjeuner hyper varié, la chambre d’un très bon confort, l’excellente localisation : à 10 minutes de la plage à pied et l’hôtel propose également des navettes gratuites (qu’il faut réserver au préalable), à quelques mètres d’un marché de nuit, kata Beach est vraiment calme à cette période et ça fait du bien!

Ottima posizione a Kata, vicino a tutti i servizi e in posizione centrale rispetto alle altre città. Ottima colazione con molta varietà dolce e salata. Staff gentilissimo e disponibile. Due piscine, una rooftop e una sul giardino interno, ottime per rilassarsi. L'hotel inoltre offre la possibilità di prenotare le escursioni alle isole. La struttura permette anche di prenotare dei cestini per la colazione con brioches e frutta nel caso in cui si debba lasciare l'hotel prima delle 07:00.
Nonostante l'aria condizionata, la stanza odorava leggermente di muffa. La doccia erogava poca acqua e la cornetta funzionava male.

Fantastic hotel with very clean and comfortable amenities, the staff are all friendly and professional. You get to choose between 3 swimming pools as the owner has 3 hotels that are all nearby and you can use either amenities and gym. Location is fantastic too and you can sleep peaceful at night. I extended my stay 3 times

Great location near local market and lots of street food around. Beach is within 10 minutes walk. Rooms are spacious and clean. Also I got Netflix on the TV. 100% I'll be staying here in my next trip to Phuket.

This place felt somewhat like a resort. I'm actually surprised that there weren't more people there, but it was worth the money. They have 3 pools, a spa and bar all on the property. Also 24/7 security and a great variety for breakfast.
I wish the beds were a little more comfortable, and please consider extending the pool hours until 10 p.m. I believe the pool closed at 8 p.m. I understand that you want to be courteous to other guests, but sometimes it is nice to swim a little longer at night.

The hotel welcomes you with a purple juice that is astounding.
The room was new, modern, and clean. There are buttons on the wall for "do not disturb" and "service the room" instead of a little paper to hang on the door.
The AC is strong as it's HOT in Phuket.
There was a conveniently accessible restaurant on site with a vast menu. We never needed it other than one breakfast given all of the places nearby.
The music and food carts that are right outside of the hotel almost daily is great was well. It provides a great ambiance and convenient accessible food if you don't want to forage into the main areas.
The gym in the Grand Kata VIP building is accessible to WeKata Luxury visitors as well. I came down with a cold and couldn't go, but it's a great addition.
The one-bedroom panorama suite was large and amazing. I loved that the kitchen gets cleaned daily as I did use it almost every morning along with the kettle. The kettle was the best item to have on site.
The fridge remained a good temperature for takeout leftovers and convenient store items.
It was a relatively quiet stay as well. Not much noise.
The rooftop pool also was great and allowed for great views where you could commune with people from other countries. The guests were pretty friendly especially during our low crowd season.
This is very negligible and a not a dealbreaker. It was more strange than anything.
There were no washcloths for the hotel room. We just went to the 711 nearby and bought some so not a big deal at all.
This isn't just WeKata. I notice that more hotels and resorts are not providing enough to the rooms if at all in general.
So I have just started to add it to my packlist to bring along from home.

I really enjoyed WeKata Luxury.
The hotel still feels like brand new (it was built in 2021).
The room is really big, with a large comfy bed and all necessary facilities. It was probably the first hotel in Phuket that I didn't have issues with noisy neighbour guests.
The pools are just amazing, as well as the food made to order.
The breakfast is average, and I had a little ant infestation in my room. They came after the grilled food sauce.

such an amazing time here, loved the hotel, the amenities and location. Everything was nice, pretty new and recently updated. there 3 pools! all are nice, gym is small but has what you need. they have events going on all the time. close to kata and Karon beach and near good food markets! one of the best hotels for the price I’ve stayed at, incredible value.
room was a bit musty our first night, but once we turned AC on and had it going it was gone. stayed 5 nights and it was fine the rest of our time. everything was super clean though, just a little humidity which is kinda expected when it’s 105F

Consequently I returned as it was excellent

One always accepts that English is the preferred and accepted language worldwide when travelling.
unfortunately some staff members really do not speak well and then a difficult situation can arise.
I found some staff that spoke well which was a blessing
The manageress should have better customer relation skills.
At check-in a lady supervisor with limited English asked me for a 4000 Thai Baht cash security deposit. I REFUSED AS I PAID 2000
in November 2022.
So she agreed and I paid 2000
personally this was very strange.
Cleaning was supposed to be daily but it did not happen until I addressed the situation
Not impressed as much this time.
I will not return as there are excellent properties to be found as this was in November 2022

Overall we had a good stay but some issues the senior team need to address.
Staff were all amazing. We stayed just over 3 weeks and anything we needed that the staff had the power to fix was sorted or delt with pretty efficiently. If we were to score on staff alone it would be 10/10
Room was lovely inside with fab view (room 2704) we did have to ask for a mattress topper as beds are extremely hard, and this was sorted by night 2.
Location great. Lots around for food choices and short walk to kata or Karon beaches.
Unfortunately there were a few things that we felt were pretty unacceptable especially as it's called 'Luxury'. All of these aspects can definitely be sorted from the senior management/owners.
*Within the first 2 weeks the hotel had 2 private music events that closed off areas to hotel guests and had very loud pretty awful 'music' artists performing. One Russian rapper and the other a Russian DJ. Sound checks commenced at 1pm all afternoon and events lasted from 5pm till around 9/10pm. My issue with this is the hotel are charging for tickets and obviously making money on private events, yet we as guests have paid to use the whole hotel during our stay. These areas were closed off and were only allowed to paying ticket holders. We were given a note upon arrival about the first event, then a note was passed under our door for the 2nd event.
*Smells.The block we were in occasionally had some really horrible sewage smells, and on one night the smell was so strong in our room it made us feel unwell. We had to get it checked and the cleaners helped mask the smell.
But I think there may be some plumbing issues with this whole block that needs to be looked into.
*On arrival we were asked for 4000 bhat deposit (booking.dot.com says it's 2000 bhat) I suggest this gets updated as it's not great first impression, it differs to what your expecting.
*We were shocked on arrival to the charge of 1000 bhat PER WEEK!!! to use our kitchen in our room (induction hob with kitchen kit) no were on booking.com does it say anything about this charge. We were very disappointed as we booked the room as it had a kitchen and we planned on occasionally cooking. They said on arrival this also includes cleaning of hob and pots, but we chose to not bother out of principal. Again please update on booking sites to not upset your paying guests.

Very clean and comfortable hotel. The room was great and the complementary toiletries were every nice, I loved the toothbrushes. The hotel smelled wonderful.
The pools were clean and never crowded, just a lack of pool chairs as there were 6-10 per pool. I wish there was a more convenient airport shuttle, you had to order 3 days in advance.
