You will enter this spacious 4-bedroom 4-bathroom Pool Home on the second floor with a Spacious Kitchen, Living Room and Dining Room. This is the place to start your morning or enjoy morning coffee on the Comfortable Wrap Around Balcony. On this level you will also find the Master Suite with a King size Bed and Master Bath. Two more bedrooms and a quest bath are also on this level with one featuring a Queen Size Bed and the other has 2 Full Size Beds.
Make your way down to the first floor and stock the Tiki Bar with your favorite libation and enjoy a friendly game of Billiards, Table Tennis or the Island classic "The Bimini Ring". Also on this floor is the spacious 4th Bedroom with a King Size Bed, and full bathroom.
The Pool Bath is located right off the game room along with the French Doors leading out to the Beautiful Pool Deck and Boat Dockage area. Arrive back after a long day on the ocean and relax into the refreshing pool before washing down your boat and cleaning your catch. You will find a Fish Cleaning Table for your convenience complete with water hookup conveniently located away from the pool area. Bait Freezer is conveniently located off the garage. You may also decide to do some night fishing off the seawall, which is when the fish are biting but daytime fishing has landed mango snappers, shark, tarpon, etc.
Whether you bring your own boat, rent a boat or charter a boat there is something for you here. Sombrero Reef is 3 miles offshore for an amazing snorkeling and diving adventure. Fishing and Dive Charters are located within a 5-minute drive by car. Marathon has 2 beaches. Sombrero Beach 4.6 miles and Coco Plum Beach a natural beach only 0.9 mile. We recommend making the drive to Bahia Honda State Park. It is 15 miles south toward Big Pine Key. There is also a Community Park Only 4.2 miles that features Tennis, Basketball, Skateboarding, Soccer, Basketball, Shuffleboard, Boccie Ball and Picnic Areas. Key Colony has Pickleball Courts!
This location also has four restaurants and bars within an easy boat ride!! The Island Fish Company, Keys Fisheries, Burdines Waterfront and also Sunset Grill and Raw Bar. If bringing your boat be careful of the current at Sunset Grill.

The house was wonderful. Everything was very clean and well stocked. The location is very convenient and easy to navigate. The host was responsive and helpful.

This property was amazing! We had 8 people there. 3 couples and my 2 children. The house had everything we needed and was well kept. The sleeping arrangements were very convenient as well as bathroom situations. There was plenty of room to dock our boat and getting in and out was a breeze for both the gulf and Atlantic side. The pool was awesome. After fishing and or lobstering we came back and relaxed in the pool. The upstairs balcony was a fan favorite too. Looking out at the ocean and feeling the breeze was spectacular at all points of the day. We definitely loved this place for our vacation. We would definitely recommend this to others as well as stay again. The host is also very responsive if you need to communicate about anything. Thank you for an amazing stay.

We have been traveling to the Keys for many years with our family this house was the perfect house for a fun filled family vacation! The house is in a great location & had plenty of room for us & our adult children as well
as our 1 year old grandson! The host was extremely receptive to our needs and calls making the whole experience awesome! We plan to rent it every year for our Annual Keys Vacation! Thanks again to Lori & James for helping us to create incredible family memories!!

House was perfect for our family of 7. Plenty of room for the boat. Easy to get in and out of for a day on the water. Pool was very refreshing after being on the boat all day. We really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend to others and would love to stay again.

Three couples, 4 days, and lots of great memories. The property is well furnished, and is a great base for exploring the area as it is just a few hundred yards off the famed overseas highway.
Fishing off the back dock, and a dip in the pool is a great way to start the day.
Highly recommend this space for an family space.

We have no complaints about this place it was absolutely a great home. There was 8 adults and plenty of room it was very spacious and clean. We loved the pool, which we used daily. Host was quick to answer any questions. A fridge downstairs for our beer would have been perfect but the host provided a cooler and we made it work. All of us agreed we would, without any hesitation, book this home again.

The home was very clean, comfortable, and large. Had a great heated pool on a nice little bay. Easy to get to. The home was well stocked with towel, bedding, spices, but could use some additional pool floats. Some people complained because the decor is dated. That did not bother us at all. Everything was comfortable. Had plenty of bathrooms for everyone which was one of the reasons we rented it. Great rental.

We visit Marathon every year to gather our kids and their spouses who are scattered across the country, our family needs a large space to gather for meals and games and this house fit the bill perfectly. The pool area was fantastic and was thoroughly enjoyed.
I have read other reviews and note some disappointment with the condition of the house, while it is a bit dated and could use some minor updating, we did not find anything particularly disappointing and the house was clean and well equipped. The kitchen is large and had everything needed to prepare meals and enjoy each other’s company.
The game room was only used a little since the weather was so wonderful but we found it to be a nice addition.
The home next door continued to be renovated but we did not find it to be disturbing.
We plan on rebooking for our 2025 visit, it fit our needs perfectly.

We really enjoyed our time in Marathon and found the house to be in a great location. It is an older home, but very comfortable and the layout with all the amenities made it the perfect place for 3 adult couples to start and end each day.
The kitchen had everything we needed including a large table where we could eat together and plan our day. We really enjoyed the heated pool and appreciated the abundance of pool towels. The doors that lead out to the the pool and canal had an alarms on them (perfect if you had small children) and there was plenty of comfortable seating and lounge chairs. The hostess was also kind enough to provide a cooler and other water toys. We spent most evenings in the game room shooting pool and playing ping pong. Newer pool sticks would have been nice, but these did the job. We certainly would stay again if in the area.

Although the property is located in a convenient area and very spacious for a large family, we will not be returning . Property needs major updates, from bathroom, windows, dock if you plan on bringing boat. We arrived at 4 the cleaning crew was still at the house and on checkout they arrived at 9am when checkout is at 10. Every morning construction started from 630-7am, if this had been outlined on the description we would have picked a different location. I appreciate the responsiveness of the property manager but there was nothing she could do. Kitchen is lacking basic things as a lighter, wine bottle opener amongst other things. The playroom was fun, but like the rest of the property needs some TLC, pool sticks were falling apart.

Nice place, close to gas and bait for the boat, My daughter in law caught a 50 inch tarpon from the dock! Kinda tight getting the trailer in for a 30 foot boat. All in all, very nice!

This property is an older home, so not perfect, but worked well for our group and was pretty clean - especially bathrooms. Negatives: Definitely Mold or mildew growing some place in the house but this is to be expected in a damp climate like Florida in an older house. I'm noting it here for those who are allergic. Mattresses could used updating - ones in master and queen room too soft, twins and king downstairs were too firm. House next door is being renovated and the workers are doing noisy things in the morning but they were nice and waited until like 9 or 9:30 to use the saw and the pressure washer. :) Positives: The view is great, we even had dolphins in the channel behind the house one evening. The pool is perfect! The kitchen well appointed with everything you need. Plenty of seating for everyone. We really enjoyed the the pool table and the ping pong table! Clean. Overall we had a great time and would stay here again.

Overall the property was nice. It’s an older home that could use a bit of TLC however it is as described in the listing. The location is great. Easy access to both the Gulf and Atlantic. Short distance in the boat or on land to great restaurants.

Was exactly what we needed to explore the Keys! Rented a boat for 3 days so this location was ideal for that. Fished from the patio. Great response when AC stopped working & got resolved same day. Lovely neighborhood. Enjoyed pickleball nearby. Lower level with ping pong & pool table was hit with teens. Heated pool was perfect since ya never know how warm you’ll get end of March. Supplies in kitchen were sufficient.

We had the best time during our stay at this property. We paid to have the pool heated and it was so worth it. The kids spent hours in it every day. The view is wonderful and we enjoyed watching the boats coming and going. It was so relaxing. All the bedrooms were very comfortable and suited our family. We would definitely stay here again!

Overall, a great house. It was spacious and was perfect for two families to stay in together. The house is tired and many of the closets and drawers were filled with random clutter but the location of the house was great. Lots of great fishing right from the sea wall. Pool was great and LOTS of sunshine on the pool deck. Kayaking from the house was also great. Manager was very responsive and helpful with a few issues we had. While the house is very tired and a bit unorganized/dirty, location was great and we will be returning!

Our group of 6 “seniors” enjoyed this place and it’s surroundings! We kayaked the mangroves, biked to Pigeon Key and hiked in Curry Hammock State Park. We also swam at Sombrero Beach and in the wonderful pool at the Vrbo . Dinners out at Sunset Grill, Porky’s and Burdine’s were amazing. But the best meal was ribeye steaks on the gas grill at the condo. (We had a master cook with us!) Coffee on the deck in the morning and wine out there at night. Great fun with great friends at a wonderful place! Thank you!

The property is large and well laid out, with plenty of dining and living space. The lower game level has both pool and ping pong.
The outdoor pool is heated and wonderful. The view is great——more than a canal——-some wide water with lots of boat traffic. Some of the furniture is dated, but quite comfortable. The bathrooms look original. The dishwasher and washer and dryer were indispensable. The host was responsive when the pool heater needed attention. We had a wonderful reunion, and would stay there again!

Such a gorgeous view! Nice to sit out on deck to watch the sunrise with coffee in hand. The breeze made it so comfortable in the heat of the summer. The home was big enough for 2 families. The game room downstairs was awesome!! We spent a lot of time there. The pool was a perfect way to end the day.

Wonderful home!
Property appeared as listed. Pool was a nice bonus. Clean, good size and location. Quick response when had questions. Only negative was not having complete rolls of toilet paper and having to purchase additional during our stay. Otherwise, wonderful experience.

Great Location and View
We loved the house and our stay in the Keys. The location is perfect with easy access to the reef or gulf side and the marina and fuel dock is right in the cut so very convienient. The views are spectacular and the pool was great for everyone. The kids really enjoyed the space downstairs and the pool table and ring toss were a big hit although the pool table is on its last leg. The house has some quirks to it (master toilet likes to back up, the exterior door hardware needs to be replaced, and bedroom fan needed a chain so you can adjust the speed), but has plenty of space for the price. Only thing I would change would be a fridge downstairs in the tiki hut area for drinks by the pool. The fish cleaning table and dock space were used daily and we would love to visit again in the future.

Great house and location
This is a very nice property with lots of space and things to do. The game room got a lot of use. The pool is very nice and was even cleaned during our stay. The neighborhood is quiet.
The location is convenient to good restaurants (three that we were able to walk to!).
It was a short drive to Sombrero Beach (we left a few beach chairs behind) which also made it convenient to stop at Publix. The kitchen is fairly well stocked but you should look in the cabinet in the family room for the real glassware!
Great place to stay, highly recommended.
