Located in the Marina community of Coral Lagoon, the unit is nestled in a lush, tropical setting, on a private 6 acre resort this retreat offers the perfect blend of modern living and island-inspired charm.
IMPORTANT: If you are planning to bring a boat, there are additional documents you will need to complete for us to submit to the Coral Lagoon Marina. We will send these to you after confirmation of your reservation. Please make sure to review these documents thoroughly to ensure you meet the Marina requirements.

The villa you're staying in offers complimentary use of a marina boat slip (Please note, at this time, the boat slip is unavailable for this unit. Slips are available through the marina to rent at an additional cost, outlined below). To use the slip, you are required to execute an In-Kind Lease, and the marina charges a lease approval fee. Additional services provided by the Master Common Area Property, available for a fee, include trailer storage and access to a private boat ramp.

• Lease Approval Fee: $50 (discounted for transit renters), $100 for long-term renters (more than two weeks)
• Nightly Trailer Storage Fee: $27 ($55 if the boat is stored on the trailer)
• Ramp Fee: $11.25 per use
The marina association has specific requirements for any vessel staying on the marina property:
• The boat must have a minimum of $300,000 in liability insurance, with the marina named as additional insured. This information must be provided to the marina by your insurance company, with the additional insured noted on the boat’s declaration page. A form will be sent to you at the time of booking, and we will forward this to the marina on your behalf.
• The marina association lease must be fully executed. The process is electronic—you can fill out the form, send it to the dockmaster, or call. Our dockmaster will guide and support you through the lease process.
IMPORTANT: You are fully responsible for your boat while it is in the leased slip or marina, including any costs or damages related to injury, or to the leased slip, marina facilities, or other association property caused by the boat, its owner, or related persons.

"This property is a gem! My husband and I, our two children ages 11 and 8, and another adult couple stayed very comfortably at Cocoplum. We loved having three bedrooms, the full kitchen, and especially the washer and dryer! The pool on site was clean and a welcome relaxation after a full day fishing and snorkeling. It was easy to get into the unit, and there were clear instructions on how to operate WiFi, nearby recommended restaurants, and checkout details. We will definitely stay here again!"

"We had a nice time here! Bedrooms were clean and there were extra bedsheets/blankets in every room. I do wish there were more cleaning supplies, dishwasher detergent, dish towels, to keep the place kept up during the Stay as well as more than 1 Toilet paper roll for each bathroom. Just little Touches to make it feel more accommodating. The TVs are not smart TVs in bedrooms so they only Offer basic cable, no Netflix. Could have a fire stick or Roku to be a simple Upgrade and fix. Overall, the location was great and it was so nice to have the boat right out back! We would Return for sure!"

We had a wonderful time staying at Villa #6. Only thing I would recommend is for the TVs to be updated as they are old and do not display cable very well. We arrived by boat and the dock directly behind property was super convenient. Highly recommend it.

We were very pleased with the location in Marathon. Easy access to restaurants, walks to coffee, shops, etc. Wonderful to have water surrounding us and peace and quiet.
However, we only had one functioning shower for four adults to use…. The bath/shower combo only 1/2 engaged on Wednesday. We called for maintenance and they came onsite and disassembled it to try to repair. Then we never had even a faucet for the remainder of our stay. Couldn’t even take a bath even though showers preferred.

The family loved the house and the management company did a fantastic job. The a/c didn't work the first night but they were right on getting it fixed the next day. The grounds and house are well-maintained and in a beautiful location.

This is a nice property. Better if you have a boat to dock behind the rental. There’s no swimming or fishing off the docks. The house had most of what you’d expect including coffee maker and some pots n pans. A broken George Foreman grill on the back deck was frustrating. Downstairs bath had no working light bulbs, there were no spares so we just didn’t use that bathroom. I was a little surprised at no salt/pepper which I usually find in VRBO kitchens so I asked about it but was ignored.
I think the property was fine but it is definitely priced more for the location and waterfront than for the accommodations themselves. That said, I still have it 4 stars bc the location and waterfront were quite nice.

We enjoyed our stay at Tropical Seahorse. Two of our issues upon check-in were addressed efficiently. Not enough hand towels or kitchen towels. Early checkout at 10 AM is hard to meet. A moldy or musty smell upon arrival. Pet friendly but we did not bring a pet. Nice location and suited our needs for our boating vacation. Cleaning fees are steep, plus service fee, plus property fee. Checkout requirements are hard to meet with esrly checkout.

This is a nice villa. We enjoyed being on the end with only one unit on one side and sitting on the porch seeing the canal.
The beds aren't the most comfortable however. The supplies the rental firm left us are minimal - Only 1 pod for the dishwasher and washing machine. No foil, zip lock bags, etc for the kitchen. We didn't care for having to strip the beds and wash the sheets and towels when we left. For the amount that was charged for a cleaning fee we felt it wasn't justified. Otherwise the stay was enjoyable.

Overall, this is a nice home/townhouse. The location is very convenient for driving and boating. We could keep our boat right in back of the unit and the marina is very close for getting the boat in and out of the water and for getting ice, gas, etc. Another positive is that the people on call for questions and to help with any issues you may have are super nice. As an example, when we arrived, we didn't have any toilet paper, soap, trash bags, etc, and they sent someone right over with some basic items. The pictures and description are pretty accurate. The decor is simple, and feels more like a rental unit as opposed to someone's home. We've stayed at several VRBO homes and it's very obvious this one is maintained by a rental company that manages many units. As an example, my daughter was home alone for a little while and I repair man came over to fix a sink. She tried to tell him it wasn't a good time, but he seemed annoyed so she let him in. We never complained about a problem with the sink and didn't know he was coming. I let the management company know, and they apologized. From a security standpoint, it seemed concerning. I also felt that the unit wasn't very well stocked with things such a paper towels, dish soap, pots and pans, etc. They give you a few things, but you will need to buy more for sure. As long as you know what to expect, this can be a very good choice for a vacation. One watch out to be careful of...We broke a lamp in the guest room when we were taking the sheets off the bed the morning we left. I let the management company know immediately. I fully intended to pay for it. I was very surprised to find out they deducted $150 from my security deposit. It was an inexpensive lamp that anyone could buy for less than $50 at any store. I know it's an inconvenience for them to replace it, but $150 seems inappropriate. I let them know I was disappointed in the amount, but got no response. A few days later I asked if there was anyone I could speak to about the amount and they said they would ask their manager to contact me. I've waited over a week, but haven't heard from anyone. It certainly didn't ruin the trip, but the lack of response has made us feel more like a number as opposed to a valued customer.

Location was great, direction from rental company did not align with direction that were left in the unit on expectations which was confusing. Some unreasonable expectations upon check out given that you have to check out by 10 or pay for a late check (especially when they want you to wash all of the sheets and linens, i thought that is why you pay a cleaning fee??).

My family enjoyed our stay especially mornings and evenings sitting on the deck. The kitchen was well stocked except the only linens provided was one towel no dish cloths. It would have been nice to have a few coffee filters in the starter pack provided. Every room was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was nice to have a slip for the boat right outside our unit. We also enjoyed the pool every day. We would definitely recommend the location to other families.
