Nothing, should be refunded as not value for money.
Property wasn’t a cottage as advertised its was a standard terraced house. It smelt of foist and the kitchen was not clean. Front door was only secured by the lock and street parking was a nightmare.

The cottage is very cosy. It's close to the beach and the main town, but far enough that it's quiet.
Nothing really. We were very lucky with the weather, so that was a real bonus as we planned a walking break, which we managed comfortably.

Great little cottage, stayed in deal many times always had good weather so not fussed about facilities, this NY the weather was awful, but the cottage was warm, cozy, full sky package and the best king size beds ever. We slept like logs for 3 days. The cottage had everything we needed and only a short walk to the town. Definitely would recommend & return. Thanks Tracy

Beds were comfy.
The house is damp. The owner was very confrontational when asked to replace stained, damp towels. She said she found it odd we had not just used the tumble drier to dry them ourselves and waited ‘so long’ to notify her that there was an issue- we let her know as soon as we used them and likewise with the stained bedding. There was water running down the walls in the bedrooms (they were aired throughout the day as well) but apparently it is not a damp house, there’s a mouldy bucket under the boiler (there’s a little wooden plank to cover it which we moved as it was leaking around the bucket), rotten wood next to the sink, stained bedding and blood marks on a quilt which owner stated was pen- if you know it’s stained and can’t be washed properly then it shouldn’t be in a rental property on a bed. Bedroom bins and shelves/ nic nacs on the shelves were dusty as well. After the dramas getting towels replaced we didn’t feel that we could approach the owner because of her ‘fix it yourself’ attitude so I will say that the owner is very emotionally charged (I was actually told I ruined their Christmas when I raised a dispute with booking.com which is a bit harsh- I expected a clean, house with clean towels and bedding which I didn’t think was asking too much for the price paid) and I hope she uses that emotional investment to create positive change in the house before next set of renters arrive. All in all the beds were very comfy and the shower pressure was good but those are the only two positives. Shower head was also limescaley and the front bedroom door did not close- likely because of the amount of moisture in the air. Wish I could have added more photos.

The cottage smelt of damp or mould as soon as I walked in. Neighbours were quite noisy it felt as though there were people in the room. The shower was hot and cold which was unsettling. The noise from the traffic was very loud at times. Not good if one wanted a quite stay. For £975 was way over priced for the stay and therefore I would not recommend this place to whoever!

The whole cottage was clean & tidy, the kitchen was really well equipped & the bed was comfy. It was also nice to have the outside space.
Parking was a little tricky but we did find a parking space not too far away. This is a general problem with Deal though & not the fault of the property.

Loved the closeness of the local corner shop how near to the seafront and town area it was and good transport available train and buses to other well known seaside place's beds were really comfortable tv in every room the cottage was supplied with EVERYTHING you possible need in a home and more even dvds game console and books and board games even the local people and neighbours were lovely too well recommended place to stay 🏡😀😊🤗😏🥰😍
Nothing I didn't like about it just that the smoke alarm are extra sensitive when cooking but that can be resolved 🤗

We loved the location of this property and of course that they allow dogs! Only 5 min walk to the beach and 10 mins from the pier. Close to Deal Castle too which was super fun with the kids. It was well equipped in the kitchen with everything you could need when it comes to utensils, pots and pans etc. It was also brilliant to have an enclosed garden to the rear for the dog. The beds were very comfortable and a bonus having smart TVs in the bedrooms as well as the lounge. There is also a little corner shop very near by which was handy for popping out quickly for things.
Tracy was great at communicating and super helpful in letting us get in a little earlier and leave a little later.
The only thing this place is missing really is coat hooks! There was no where to hang our coats when we got back in from the rain which meant having to hang them in the bathroom. To have some hooks opposite the back door would have been brilliant. Also the TV in the lounge was, we found personally, too large and placed up too high for the room. It was a little difficult to sit on the sofas and watch it without straining your neck slightly. Lastly the kitchen table although functional is quite large for the kitchen and once up you can’t move at all in there. Maybe a smaller table would be better for space saving. Not major things though and we would stay again in we were ever to visit Deal again.

On the beach in 5mins. Yard and garden good for dog and morning coffee. Very well equipped clean kitchen, modern decor, Xbox with games, Sky box and board games for rainy weather, friendly convenience shop across the road, very helpful and friendly host Tracy.
We prefer firmer beds, these were very soft. It's a cottage so fair enough that dining space is folding furniture and stairs a bit too steep for young dog unless helped
