We stayed with two kids (11 and 17) and five adults. We found the cabin very spacious, and accommodating. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were very comfortable, and there was a "place" for everyone. The inside is furnished gorgeous classic Mission-style furniture.
While the location seems isolated it's really not, with just a short drive to the main road Shoreline Hwy . There's a convenience store located a quarter mile drive away, but for major shopping you'd probably have to go to Fort Bragg 20-25 minutes up the road.
We really enjoyed our stay, and wished we could have spent more time there.

The house is comfortable, beautifully appointed, dramatically set in the redwoods and still close to town. Can’t wait to come back to this Mendocino retreat.

The property and the home were both beautiful. Our family enjoyed both the well appointed home plus the nature beauty of the outdoors. It certainly did NOT disappoint.

We had a very relaxing time here. Our family stayed here - 2 adults, 2 kids. Plenty of space, the house and property are both beautiful. We loved the redwoods out the front door! Good location, lots of hiking nearby. About 8-10 min drive to downtown Mendocino.

The house was nestled in the woods. It was so relaxing and had everything we needed. You can tell the house is loved and well taken care of. We ended up spending just as much time exploring Mendocino as we did hanging out in the house. It is close to many cool hiking trails too. The hot tub was enjoyed by all.

My family of 6 couldn’t gain access to the house with the entry code that was provided to us. My wife was able to get ahold of the landlord and she was able to provide a code which worked. We just didn’t know if it was the same code or a different one that was emailed to us at the time. The next day the code still would not work and we were not able to get into the house for an hour. The landlord was answering the phone and did not return my call back. I was on hold with Vacasa during the whole time. Lucky we left a bathroom window unlocked and my wife was able to climb in without causing any damage or harming herself. Later on I was able to talk to a Vacasa member and they gave me a combo to the key box but the code was also not working. Vacasa was then able to give me another entry code to the front door that finianly worked thoughout the time of our stay. Other then this bad experience the house was really nice and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fireplace with included firewood. The outside landscape was beautiful and healing being surrounded by trees. I would consider coming back again.

The four of us really, really enjoyed our stay at the Little River Redwoods home. We loved being surrounded by forest in a very, very quiet location that was only about a mile from the main highway into Mendocino. The home was so comfortable and very nicely appointed. The windows, the wood walls and ceilings and the skylights were just incredible to enjoy at all times. And the hot tub was fantastic. We also enjoyed sitting around the dining room table enjoying a great dinner and playing games. This is definitely a home that we will return to on our next visit to the Mendocino area providing that it is available.

Gorgeous, spacious cabin. It was really clean and well stocked. Games and movies were available, and the kitchen had everything you could need. Hot tub was so relaxing at the end of the day. The location was close to Mendocino, beaches and Fort Bragg. WiFi was decent, very spotty cell reception unless we were actually in town so be prepared for that. All in all a fantastic stay!

We loved staying in this cabin in the woods however the hot water only lasted for one day. Day 2 was a day filled with cold showers (4 people who were in and out in 3 min) and we didn't even attempt showers on day 3 because we couldn't get hot water out of the sinks. Checkin and Checkout was smooth and the wrap around deck was perfect for early mornings.

This is a nice luxurious cabin to base out of to explore the Mendocino coast. We had a great time using the hot tub. The trees in the property are very big and old. Property manager was great and gave us an early check in as well.

Our family of five people enjoyed every aspect of our stay, from the well-kept house to the beautiful backyard views. The kitchen is spacious and clean, and all utensils were washed and stored properly in the drawers before our arrival. The house gets a good amount of light during the daytime, making it not only beautiful but also refreshing. There were plenty of supplies stocked in the cabinets, but be sure to bring your own facial tissue if you need it! Everything else was provided. All in all, we really enjoyed this splendid place and all it had to offer.

It was really lovely, tucked into the redwoods and wood used throughout the interior as well. Very clean. Everything worked. Well-furnished. Would definitely stay there again if I am in the area.

Beautiful house in a great location. High end cabin feeling with plenty of room. We enjoyed the great view out of the upstairs bedroom looking out at redwood trees. The skylight gave lots of great natural light despite being surrounded by trees.
The location in Little River was very convenient. Only a few minutes to Mendocino and about 20 minutes to Fort Bragg. The house had every thing you needed if you wanted to cook onsite (except the knives were dull) and if you didn't happen to want to cook there were lots of great places to eat less than 10 minutes away.
The house was very clean and everything was in great shape (except for the tv remotes which needed new batteries). Enjoyed using both the hot tub and the BBQ.

Beautiful Craftsman Style Home in the Redwoods
This house was great for 6 adults and one toddler. It is surrounded by giant redwoods, yet Isn't as dark inside as it could be because of windows and skylights everywhere. The listing and pictures are accurate, But take note that there is only one (Large) shower in the central bathroom. The master bedroom upstairs has a toilet and sink, and the downstairs bedroom off the living room has a bathtub but no shower. The lower bedroom with extra futon uses the central bathroom with the shower. The electricity went out when we got there, a general power outage in the neighborhood, so we would have needed lamps and flashlights if we'd gotten there at night. There were battery powered candles but batteries had been used up in last power outage. There is an extra land line phone to use in an emergency but you can't call out anywhere not local. Our cell service went away as we turned onto Little Airport Rd so it would have been good to have the address written on a piece of paper. The fireplace was wonderful, but we wished we had a little newspaper to start the fire. House was cozy with central heating. Overall great rental! Things we had to go buy at the nearby gas station: Large basket coffee filters for coffee maker, flashlight, newspaper, paper towels.

We loved the house, scenery and redwoods. Nice and clean. Beautiful!
The house was spacious, nice and clean and we enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace. I wish we would have looked a little closer and seen that there is only one shower in the whole house. That made things a little difficult for seven people. Also some areas of the house get really warm while others stay cold but overall we really liked the house. Plenty of room! Beds were very comfortable.

Loved the design of this beautiful home....the well stocked kitchen with several pantry shelves for our food, a table that all 8 of us could sit around and share a meal, the comfy beds, etc.
The cleanliness of the home was appreciated. The well placed skylights looking up to the majestic redwoods also let in welcome natural light. The outside space....secret fairy garden (my 2 year old granddaughter's name is Gwendolyn "Fae") so you can imagine how much we enjoyed that little garden. Last but not least is hot tub heaven....a favorite retreat for our family. Can't wait to make more memories at the little house in the redwoods. ❤🌲🏠

Ideal Place to Stay
This was one of the best rental properties we’ve ever rented for our family of 2 parents plus 2 adult children and their partners. Each couple had their own bathroom and the beds were all comfortable. The living room/dining room was a perfect gathering place and the kitchen was well stocked with supplies for cooking big family meals. The home was also very clean and well maintained. We recommend this property without hesitation.

Girls get away
This place was a perfect location to get away from the city! Loved the cute hidden Forrest although it's for kids, but we took a small walk next to it and it nice to explore their property line. The house was amazing. Very clean and spacious.

Sisters Vacation
As sisters we have stayed at several vacation homes along the California and Oregon coasts. This home by far was the best and we would love to return for another stay. Very comfortable and cozy interior. We also felt very safe with the security lights outside.

Cozy home for the family
The pros: The property was very clean and cozy. It was a great getaway for the whole family. It was close to both fort Bragg and Mendocino. The cons: some of the appliances did not work great like the oven and the microwave. They barely worked and it took a very long time to make any food in either one. Broil was our only option for the stove. There are only blinds in the bedroom. Although this house is tucked away, I would’ve liked blinds on all the windows for additional privacy. House did have enough bathrooms for the 8 of us staying the weekend but would’ve loved more than 1 shower. We loved our stay there and will definitely be returning

A perfect getaway with everything we could ask for
We stayed at this lovely place to celebrate a good friend's engagement. The surrounding nature is serene, the indoors has warm charm, and the plentiful amenities like a well equipped kitchen and hot tub are icing on the cake. We had an unforgettable experience and I am so thankful that this place was so perfect and hospitable for our needs. Highly recommend!

Really nice home in the redwoods.
Just a couple of items; there can be a lot of road noise as the house is quite close to the road, the water heater by the bedrooms makes all kinds of weird thumps and groans (can be a little unnerving late at night), and the house was not very clean ie. sticky kitchen floor, we had to wash it so our socks would quit sticking, (hopefully just a one time situation).
Regardless, the good points outweighed the few negatives and we would return and would recommend it to others.
