We loved our stay at the farm. it was the best part of our trip. We felt like we were at home; the farm was so peaceful and beautiful. The views were amazing, as was the chocolate cake! We would highly recommend this stay!

How amazing is this place. We immediately relaxed to the point that some days we just sat and enjoyed the farm. The accommodation was as per brochure. Everything needed was provided. The working farm was lovely to experience even with the arrival of twin calves! The chickens provided the most beautiful fresh eggs. The chocolate cake referenced on many reviews lived up to expectations. We sat out in the garden and enjoyed meals, drinks and scrabble well into the evenings. Location wise we were able to enjoy seeing the Dales without travelling far. Christine was fantastic sending us off in the right direction to see the best that the area had to offer. If you want to relax and recharge then this is the right place for you. We will most certainly return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything showed that the host put a lot of thoughts into it. The only drawback is that it’s a little far from the Yorkshire dale national park.

Cannot express how fabulous this place is.
The hosts Christine and Chris are welcoming and friendly and were more than happy to show us around to see the lambs. Set on a beautiful farm with it's own lovely walks.
Very welcoming place and a lovely chocolate cake upon arrival (as equally pleasant as the hosts)
Would highly recommend a stay.

One of the very best places we’ve ever encountered. The setting is beautiful and serene and the host is second to none. The pictures don’t quite do justice to the charm and beauty of this place. It was very spacious for us. We highly recommend this place.

We have thoroughly enjoyed a most delightful stay at The Cottage, Scaife Hall Farm near Blubberhouses.
The location was perfect !
Beautiful surrounding countryside and being situated on a working farm was absolutely fantastic!
The cottage is very well appointed and packed with everything you need.
There is a very clean & well equipped kitchen, ideal for lots of home cooking which can be enjoyed at a large table in a lovely dining room with gorgeous views of the open countryside.
The bedrooms (all en-suite) were immaculate, all set up with very comfortable bedding and fluffy white towels in each en-suite.
The front garden looks over the valley and nearby river where you can enjoy some beautiful walks, it’s set up with a traditional lawn and gate along with decking area with comfortable seating, huge table and a barbecue.
The cottage is perfectly situated for exploring the local area, speckled with cute villages and nice country pubs and excellent walks in every direction.
Pately Bridge, Grassington and Ilkley are all worth a visit.
Our host, Christine was incredibly warm & kind, she gave lots of hints and tips about the local area and was super friendly!
Some lovely touches provided by Christine were a huge freshly baked homemade chocolate cake, a dozen freshly hatched eggs, milk, local jam and chilled bottled water,
I would thoroughly recommend Scaife Hall Farm for its location, cosy and well equipped feel and the wonderful warm hospitality from Christine.

This property is everything it says on the tin!! A real home from home, Christine has thought of everything. The views, the location, the hosts and surrounding areas are all fabulous. If you are looking for a little piece of heaven, this is it. We are so pleased we have been able to experience it.

The farm is in a completely beautiful spot with views stretching as far as the eye can see. Sheep stand on paths in the way of the car and potter around at the edge of the garden. The garden is nicely planted and faces south with a substantial garden table and chairs. The owner is around and lovely, but unobtrusive. She keeps chickens and we bought lots of fresh eggs for half the price of supermarket free range organic. Inside is nicely kitted out and comfy without being fussy.

Delightful
We have just spent a delightful week at Scaife Hall Farm. Being a working farm added richness to our experience. Having our welcoming host next door was reassuring.
The cottage is ideally located for exploring the Dales. The accommodation was first class and we highly recommend it.

A wonderful stay in the country
We had a superb week in this cottage, which is part of a farmhouse on an active farm. It was exciting to see the new calves arrive and able to stand up so soon after being born. The view from the upstairs windows at the front is amazing, and there is a lovely garden. Christine's hospitality was exemplary, with home-baked cake on arrival, fresh eggs, and plunger coffee. The kitchen is very well-equipped. Plenty of space for 6 adults, and a range of beautiful walks directly from the cottage. We would love to return someday.

Scaife Hall proved ideal for capturing the feel of living on a traditional Dales farm. Outdoors we cherished the pastoral farmyard setting. Inside we delighted with the modern kitchen and bath, and basked in the comforts of the other nicely-appointed rooms. Another indulgence for us as visitors from abroad was working(!) WiFi. Lots of alluring attractions are not far away. Nearby public footpaths offer their own rewards for those celebrating scenic landscapes.
From the start our charming host, Christine, made us feel most welcome. We are impressed by how well she and her husband transformed and divided a once-decrepit farmhouse to share with appreciative guests.

Excellent Stay
Excellent cottage based on a working farm, in an ideal location for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. The cottage is also midway and within easy distance (about 10 miles) between the lovely towns of Skipton and Harrogate.
The cottage has everything you need for a great holiday, and is also very clean and tidy. The added advantage is that the owners live next door and Christine is a brilliant host, with nothing being too much trouble for her.
We had a lovely 10 days exploring the local area and taking some nice walks right from our doorstep. We hope to return again in the future.

Superb rural break in Yorkshire
This is an extremely comfortable and well-appointed cottage in a gorgeous setting, within easy reach of various towns and villages, but also quiet and secluded for a restful break. There would be plenty of space for six adults - there were only four of us - and having a private garden and BBQ overlooking the fields was a welcome bonus. Everything we needed was provided and self catering was made very easy by the availability of all the kitchen equipment.
Christine and Chris were perfect hosts and we were made to feel really welcome - nothing was too much trouble. Christine provided advice on restaurants and activities, as well as delicious cakes, and eggs from the farm hens.
There are lovely walks from the doorstep, and we really enjoyed 'borrowing' the adorable dogs for daily strolls down to the river. It is a perfect location to explore Yorkshire and there is plenty to see and do without travelling too far.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable 11 days and still only scratched the surface of the area; staying on for rather longer would have been a pleasure - we intend to return another year!

Lovely place
This cottage is set in a wonderful location, a quiet relaxing place where it is lovely to relax in the garden just absorbing the lovely surrounding views, away from traffic you only hear the sound of cows, sheep and other wildlife.
The cottage itself was also lovely, spacious and well equipped and the owners were very friendly. We would definitely visit again.

Lovely farmhouse, great location. Host excellent and helpful, and non intrusive. There were 6 of us (5 adullts plus a 16 year old), so having 3 bathrooms meant we coud get out early in the morning! Loads to see and do in this area, 1 week is not enough really.
