I have a very large family with grandkids. They loved the swimming. They really love the animals that walk around. The great thing about it none of the kids were bored. There’s always something to do. Great Host, we will definitely be back

Our family had a great time here. If you love animals this is the place!! We stayed in the main house, so we enjoyed the spacious pool. More than enough room for everyone to sleep. Quiet neighborhood, fun animal noises!

Some reviews complain about the animals and property conditions. It is a Rescue Farm - a great place for these animals to recover and find a sense of wellness. Is it perfect - no - is it peaceful - yes. What is perfect any way? This place has 2 houses that are clean - well decorated and appointed and scream welcoming and comfortable. The owner was accommodating and communicated well - I have no complaints and everyone that stayed here with us enjoyed themselves and felt it was well worth the money and very comfortable. I am glad we picked this place for our weekend. If you want cookie cutter perfect with no personality and no adventure - stay somewhere else. If you can enjoy a clean comfortable welcoming atmosphere - a relaxing soak in the pool - and a quiet surrounding (as we didn't mind rooster and peacocks to wake us each morning) in a fair priced location - this is a place you can kick your feet up and enjoy.

This was a perfect place for our large family to gather in 2023. The welcome began the minute a friendly black cat named Static greeted us at the gate and escorted us back to our week-end home. He seemed to have assigned himself this duty and he took it seriously! The place is large, unique and enchanting. The host was wonderful and we had a lovely time. Thank you Payton.

The younger kids loved this. But the hot tub was not working and the owner did not know it. We had two houses, they only turned the washer and dryer on in one house. Only one oven worked. TV remotes did not work for two bedrooms and light bulbs were missing in lots of lamps. The pool was enjoyed, but it was getting cooler and we really wanted the hot tub. There were some nice touches - an old coca-cola fridge with water and sodas to enjoy. And of course, the animals. Just needs a little more attention to working details.

First the owner was extremely helpful and genuinely cared about our stay. He even came out to have our kids feed the animals. Amazing.
It’s a very fun property for families. It’s a farm not a Ritz which is part of the charm.
You will have a once in a lifetime experience with the animals.

Very fun to walk around and look at animal. House not quite as nice as pictures, but still comfortable.

We stayed with a large group of friends. The pictures in the listing might be dated and could use updating, but the stay was for the memories! We really appreciated that the owner had a few things stocked in the fridge and provided bottled water for our stay. The owner was accommodating and allowed for early check-in/late check-out if it was available. We enjoyed the animals, especially the baby goat! There was plenty of room for everyone.

The rescue farm was a hit with the grandkids. They even got to help feed the animals, swim in the pool, and pet the animals. Great adventure.

Unique property which was perfect for our large group in town for a weekend race. The pool and hot tub were great after a hard day of racing!
The farm is beautiful at night with all the string lights!
The animals were so fun- peacocks are interesting to say the least!

I stayed her with my son and daughter and 7 of their friends (24-30 age range). It was a good set up with the two houses. We all enjoyed the animals. There was plenty of room to gather at either house. We all enjoyed our stay.

Our family of 13 had a good time spending time together at the farm. Our grandchildren loved the animals and the pedal cart. We enjoyed the swimming pool with the lights throughout the farm at night. There were some challenges with keeping gates shut and locating supplies. We had to remember that it was a farm with loud noises and smells. Our host was responsive to our need when the dish washer wouldn't work by sending a plumber quickly to replace it. Overall, we had a wonderful memorable time at the farm.

My family and I had the best time at this farm. It is an awesome place for family gatherings. My grandkids had never been so up close and personal with farm animals so I wasn't sure how they would react. They absolutely loved it! The smell was barely noticeable. While the animals do poop throughout the grounds it's not as bad as one would imagine. Both houses were nice and clean, had plenty of towels for the pool, and kid friendly. This was the perfect spot for our family to spend quality time together and create more memories before the end of summer. The grounds keeper was very helpfull and knowledgeable about the farm. We will definitely keep this gem on our list!

2022 summer vacation
Very nicely decorated homes. We all enjoyed the farm! Anytime our daughter and oldest grandson were outside, they were out with the animals. The baby pigs were a hit for the whole family, the peacocks not so much. Love the sounds of the farm first thing in the morning. I would not recommend for city slickers…Great vacation for the full family!

I would not recommend
This property is very concerning true enough it is a rescue farm. The smell is terrible and the poop is atrocious it's literally everywhere. We could not walk up to the door of the guedthouse for the poop on the porch. The animals meet you at the gate and you have to get out the car hold the gate to make sure the animals don't come out the gate. The neighbor met us as we pull up and give us better info than the owner. The main house looked pleasing but the guest house smell badly. We did not stay we found a hotel because we did not feel safe on that property. The neighbors also told us the goats will get on your car that was it we left and didn't come out.

Unique & Entertaining
Great adventure especially for animal lovers. The main house and guesthouse were adorable, comfy beds and everything we needed. The animals were friendly and so much fun. Property caretakers were knowledgeable and assisted with anything we needed. I would highly recommend this place especially for families

Entertaining animals!
Cute unique lil spot. Owner was very accommodating for our group of 16 and replied quickly. Was a nice place to stay and relax and enjoy the animals, fire pit and hot tub. And conveniently close to stores.

Not on Fleming Island
Not a place for City Slickers and the signs are very accurate. "Carl" The Emu is a bit scary at first but harmless. The teens enjoyed the pedal cart and younger ones the animals to a degree. I slept like a rock while I was there although those staying in the guesthouse mentioned the mattresses were a bit squishy.

Fun times
THe place was very clean inside and the host was very good to work with. You however are still around a bunch a cute animals. and you need to come in with that mindset. The back area of the main house we was great

Family 2021 vacation
We were a very large group and needed to use the two side by side houses. It is a beautiful property but animals are free roaming and poop is EVERYWHERE as well as FIVE cats whose food by the sliding glass door brought in so many flies it was annoying. We had to sweep door entrance twice a day to get rid of the poop. Pool needs a lot of work as well as the smaller of the two houses. Price not in line with accommodations we got.

Great getaway!
Its not the normal hotel and hustle and bustle. However, it was close to everything we needed while being quiet and secluded. Great property! Unique experience! Great property manager who stayed in touch if we had questions/concerns.

Google the Property Owner Payton Rogers before you book!
What could have been a really enjoyable experience ending up being more frustrating than it needed to be? We booked this property because we were looking for a house with a pool in the Jacksonville area that can accommodate 7 adults and 6 children comfortably for a family gathering. We were tracking the Hurricane Elsa very closely. Fortunately, Elsa passed through Jacksonville on Wednesday. I contacted the owner of the property to make sure someone would be checking on it Wednesday. He reassured me that his staff was on site everyday to feed and care of the animals. As soon as we pulled up to the main houses on the property, we noticed the pool was dark green. I immediately contacted the owner. He blamed the color of the pool on the recent heavy rains from Elsa. When the pool service techs arrived that evening, they told me the source of the problem was related to the pool filter not being cleaned in a long time. The service techs shocked the pool and added a chemical they referred to as acid in the pool . The owner, Payton, tried to convince me that the pool would be safe to swim in after 4 hours. The next morning pool techs added more chemicals to the cloudy pool. Payton, sent me a text saying it would be okay to swim in after noon. Based on my conversation with the pool techs it would not be safe for children to swim in for at least 3 to 4 days. Since we were only staying 3 days, that meant we would not be able to use the pool. I asked Payton for a discount and said that he does not do discounts but would allow us to checkout and receive a full refund. We enlisted VRBO and looked around for options but we could not find anything available. The VRBO rep said we would have to follow their process. VRBO was absolutely no help. So, we ended staying at the Hamptons Farm and figuring out other activities besides the pool for the kiddos. The animals are incredible and such a joy to observe and be around. As for the accommodations, although the pictures look nice. the place is not well managed. The beds are awful and sag in the middle. Many appliances either don't work, are in need of repair, or do not have a nearby electrical outlet. The circuit breaker in the guest house kept tripping. Exterior lights are hanging across the property and plugged in haphazardly into interior grade surge protectors. Finally, if you can't deal with flies, animal poop, animals on your car, or an unscrupulous property owner, DON'T BOOK HERE!

A unique home away from home experience
Payton communicated well with me and the trip was a great success. We were in town for the sunshine state games and needed a property that could house our whole team. While not competing, we were able to hang out on the property among the animals (all very friendly).

Family Weekend
Great weekend with family, age range was 2 yrs to 92 yrs old. Property is nice. Safety concerns were 1. The pool has a lot of broken tiles, stairs in the deep end of the pool are broken and very jagged. 2. Stairs leading into guest house side door have no markings, fall hazard, especially for elderly folks.
Farm animals were great and friendly all though, there was no warning about goats climbing on vehicles causing damage. Or the rooster actually starts crowing at 2 am and not at daybreak.
We were disappointed the hot tub had been drained, that there was no operating instructions for the televisions. TVs have a lot of different connections with cable running out and across the front door.
Kitchen in main house has a small ant problem. Plenty of nice towels, lacking in wash clothes.
Overall is was a great weekend.

A trip for the books
My family had so much fun here! We stayed here with my family for my sons wedding which was nearby. There was plenty of space in the two houses for our family. The animals were SO much fun!! We were allowed to feed them and hangout with all the animals while we were there. They were so cute. The backyard/pool area was big and fun. The string lights were a pretty touch. Definitely a great getaway for people looking for a fun animal adventure/ get together in the backyard. A trip we will definitely remember.

To be honest, this property was either not ready for listing or guests due to safety and cleanliness concerns. The pool area had active cords lying around the pool and hot tub that was unsafe. There was a broken window lying against the house by the pool area. Inside the house, there was a box with junk items sitting in the dining room, the vacuum bin (with dirt) was lying on the dining room table and there were used toiletries in the master bedroom. In the guest house, there was a room that contained a broken piano, old air conditioner and plungers just lying around. In both houses, there was unnecessary clutter that showed us the house was not ready for guests. The overall feel of the house was unsafe and unclean. This feeling had nothing to do with the animals either. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this property until the owners or property manager were to remove the clutter and make the pool area safer. The other issue we have had is that the property manager has been non responsive when trying to discuss some of the issues at the property.
