This cabin is in a perfect location! There is plenty of space inside and the kids had fun playing pingpong downstairs as well as the hot tub. The view is great, and it feels like there is no one around you! The road up is steep as many point out but a good road; I'm not sure how they treat/salt/sand it in the winter. You can pull through the driveway and turn around at the end of the gravel road in a wide section rather than trying to make crazy sharp and steep turns. Helen feels really close and easy to get to, and if you needed a Walmart or Dollar General, those are close as well. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved the location and the view. Perfect for our three young kiddos.

We had a great time. The house was really nice and comfortable. Check in was simple. The view was pretty and the hot tub was amazing!
I really have no complaints but would like to mention that on the top deck there are a few boards with soft spots.
Overall we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this house.

It was not as clean as I expected it to be. It was surface clean but there was still dog hair on the carpet and filth in the couch and under the couch. The cabinets had food on them and the cabin itself was leaning, also not in the description. I was disappointed with the view.

My family and I had a great experience. The house was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The view was beautiful.

Nice, clean , spacious cabin

Great location. Property could use a bit of updating. But overall great vacation. Would go back

It was everything we hoped for! We enjoyed our stay very much. The place was clean, well-kept, and had all the amenities as advertised. We'll be back!

Nice cabin .very clean. Issues we had. To many potholes-scratched our fender. Hot tub was empty when we arrived. Had to have someone to fix the hot tub. Did not have cable or dish. Too many stairs. Master bedroom upstairs. We are 75.
4.4
The Internet didn't work most of the stay which meant no movies for the family, the hot tub jets kept going out, a nail sticking out the carpet going up the stairs to the master bedroom. No TV, No Internet, No Hot Tub we made due but for the amount I spent I shouldn't have been injured by the house and I should've had good Internet service. OTHER THAN THAT. My kids enjoyed the tree house and the view was amazing...

Beutiful cabin with plenty of entertainment options in the home. Cabin patio and property could use some love. Several rotten boards in the patio are a potential safety risk. Fire pit had no stairs leading to area dangerous when slick from rain, drive way and road to cabin are pretty sketchy.

We loved how easy it was to work with the rental property Vacasa however the the furniture on the main floor was very uncomfortable and the tv’s did not have the Roku remotes to be able to watch tv. Two of the remotes did not have batteries and one of the kitchen chairs was broken. That was however taken care of by maintenance. Also slow internet. I do not think I would return to this property but would still use Vacasa.

The views are amazing from the upper windows. However, the actual outdoor space is surrounded by downed trees, creating an unpleasant view and blocking Mountain Views. The dishes were all in their respective places, but were dirty. The grill wouldn’t ignite. There were also no ping pong balls for the ping pong table.

At first, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the house given pets (up to 2) were allowed. The location is OK but nothing special. We got there Sunday afternoon to find a note from the maintenance person saying that the kitchen lights were not working. He will pick up a switch and come to replace the next day and left a phone number. Also, the photos show 4 dining chairs. There were only 3 for our party of 4 (there were only 2 bar stools at the kitchen counter) so one of us cannot sit with the family comfortably at mealtime. I called and texted Monday morning and was told that Vacasa will call the local office and let me know when the 2 issues will be resolved. Monday came and went... Tuesday am... I tried to contact the local office of Vacasa, and the maintenance person at the phone number that he left. No updates, no resolution. I was forced to cook in the dark Sun, Mon, and Tues. I asked for a supervisor. Tuesday 9 pm, the night manager, Kristin at the main office in Oregon called. She was very nice but she, too, had problems getting answers (We rented the place to celebrate Thanksgiving and needed the lights to cook and the chair to be able to enjoy a nice family dinner). On Wednesday, we left the cabin around 12:00 pm and nothing had been fixed and no chair. When we got back around 5:00 pm, we found the kitchen lights fixed (with the old switch left on the kitchen counter) and a broken chair along with another broken chair with a lamp on it and some light bulbs. I was told that the company is willing to credit me the cleaning fees, which in itself is insulting gesture but even better, it is now 2 weeks and no credit has been given. It is now a joke so I texted Vacasa (which is apparently their preferred mode of communication) and was told that they will look into it. As I am writing this review, no credit nor answer has been given.

My husband and I are extreme sports enthusiast. After arriving on a Saturday, I called the management company because we could not connect to the TV and spoke to Jasmine who said she would call back ASAP. Never received a call so I called her back. She denied ever speaking with me. A little later I called and spoke with Jeremy. He promised he would call back, never did. After waiting several hours I called back and spoke to Hector. He was very professional and very helpful and called the local management company. The manager called and we set an appt for Sunday am. The owner disconnected the TV service and did not inform the mgmt company so we had no TV all week unless you had a Rouku account. Also, it was stated we had a private hot tub. After a day of exploring water falls, we got in the tub only to see a truck drive by approx 100 feet from the tub. The tub could also be seen from the house on the hill above us. With this being said, The house is nice.

This is the perfect Helen get away cabin. The quarters were clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Do bring you bathing suit for the hot tub that overlooks beautiful fall foliage.
Some helpful tips are to being toiletries such as soap and shampoo. We always bring ours, but be sure to remember your own. Also, heed the warning and opt for a 4x4 vehicle if you have one available. Otherwise, take it slow and easy on the driveway.
The internet, TVs, and game room were all great. We had four adults and two children, and it was fun and relaxing for everyone. I highly recommend this place.

We loved the location, view, fire pit, hot tub, pingpong, foosball, tire swing and tree house! The house was as expected: dated and cozy. The inside was clean, as were the front and side yards. Down slope areas had some garbage likely spread by bears in the past. I was not sure if the garbage should be placed outside in the receptical given possible disturbance. It was a great weekend trip and I would return to this property!

I loved that the stars are so bright out there.
House is very spacious, and even it rains lots to inside
The only thing I would say is the cabin need more forks and steak knifes
4.4
Nothing spectacular about our stay, but we did enjoy our time together which was the main purpose. Over all it was a good visit
4.4
The house is great for family even if you want to relax at the house for the day. Kids loved the sporty drive to the house, game room, and sauna! Awesome view! Worth the money!

This was the perfect spot to get away from everything for a little while! The cabin was so spacious and we never ran out of things to do. The paved road is very steep so I would suggest coming with the intent of cooking instead of coming and going for food. But the view was absolutely gorgeous!

We loved this nice cabin getaway for my birthday weekend. Very nice, clean, and great accommodations. Tons of towels and wash rags. My boys loved the tree house, tire swing, game room, and hot tub. It was close to town but nice and secluded. I do wish they had extra remotes and batteries to the other TVs, also there was trash around the property but I don't believe it was the hosts fault, just the bears that had probably dragged it off. We would definitely stay there again!
4.4
The property and view is amazing. There are a few things that could use fixing like the stove top and the pull out couch was broken but overall it was nice. Also there were doors that were locked that we didn’t understand why so clarifying that prior would have been good. Extremely close to downtown Helen which was awesome.
4.4
We absolutely loved our stay. Very spacious, wonderful game room, clean hot tub, and even had a tire swing and treehouse! The driveway was a little difficult to navigate, but after a few tries, it was fine. Very quiet location!
4.4
We had a wonderful time! The game room was the highlight of the whole place. We loved playing ping pong and foosball! The hot tub was awesome! It was a last minute trip and we are so happy we did It!

We loved this cabin so much! It was very welcoming, peaceful, and felt like "Home". All furniture and beds were comfortable aswell...which is a huge plus (we have stayed in beautiful rentals with uncomfortable furniture and it ruins the stay). The view is amazing. There was more than enough room for our family. We plan on returning soon!

Hot tub on back deck was so relaxing.

This cabin was clean when we arrived with plenty of interior and exterior lighting. There’s a ton of space for a family, especially with kids. The kitchen has several supplies to cook with and several plates, cups, and utensils.
***If you’re not use to driving in the mountains, it can be a bit tricky getting to the cabin. Laurel Ridge Rd off of Hwy 384 is paved however has very steep inclines. I drove on this with a FWD SUV in the rain and it was perfectly fine. Yellow Rock Rd is a one lane unpaved road and is a steep declining hill when you first turn on the street. The cabin is the first driveway off of Yellow Rock Rd. When exiting the driveway, you should only turn left as turning right may cause potholes and if your car is low, it may get stuck. Turn left and drive to the end of the street where you can safely turn around. This feedback is not meant to deter you. It’s meant to provide valuable feedback to those that are not use to driving in the mountains. It’s well worth the drive to the cabin!!
