About this cabin rental
Welcome to Knotty Pine, the Magical Fairy Tale Cottage! The covered front porch has a comfortable swing for two.
Kick back on the new leather couch and enjoy your favorite show on the flat screen tv where satellite television is still available. Yes, there are sports channels included! There are two stylish Amish wood rocking chairs for maximum comfort. The living room offers a unique wood burning stove and glass doors that lead out to the back porch. The kitchen is on the same floor and is equipped with full size appliances, a microwave, blender and a standard drip coffee maker. Gather round the dining table to share any meal and good conversation.
The master bedroom is on this main level, featuring a king size bed and a full bath with a shower/tub combination.
For the kids, or the kid in you, downstairs is all about entertainment and fun. Enjoy the Ping Pong table and other games provided. Be sure to pop up some popcorn and watch a movie on the large flat screen TV in the entertainment room. There is a futon for seating and sleeping for those additional guests. The washer and dryer can be found behind the folding doors in this room. Another queen bedroom is located on this bottom floor at the end of the hall. The third full bath is located between the two room and also features a shower/tub combination.
Upstairs on the third level is another queen bedroom with a full bath: a double sink vanity and a walk in shower.
Enjoy the end of the day reminiscing around the outdoor fire pit or star gazing from the brand new hot tub.

I was so happy to see they added chairs to the living room so more people could fit. If I had to pick one thing that I didn't like, it's the mattress downstairs. There is a crater in the middle of the bed. It makes sleeping for two people not great.

We mostly enjoyed our stay on the property. There were issues with a leaking roof onto the recliner in the main living room. It rained multiple times a day for the 4 days we were there. We did submit a work order, but nothing was done about it. Before checking out we also discovered a leak coming from the water heater into the game room. We documented the leak and the affected spaces and sent to management. We did not receive a response from anyone about this.

We enjoyed our stay at Knotty Pine. The location was great and the cabin was clean. Highly recommend bringing your own pillows, the ones at the cabin are extremely flattened and uncomfortable.

Property people were notified the Hot tub never would work came to fix it on our second day here while we were out called and asked was it fixed was told it was. It was never fixed. Just kind of bummed because whole reason we was looking foward to staying here was the hot tub!!

Everything to do with check in, check out, and a clogged toilet went smoothly. The cabin itself was beautiful, however, downstairs floors and stairs to were absolutely filthy. I dropped a clean garbage bag of laundry down the stairs and the outside was so filthy I wouldn't even use it in the trash can. Balls of human hair, dog hair and dirt were all over it. If I had known the first night I would have insisted it be cleaned professionally. The furniture was unaffiliated for the 8 people advertised. The futon should never be listed as a full sized bed but fortunately I brought an air mattress "just in case." There was seating for 6 at the table. There was a small chair at a nearby desk we used. There was 1 sofa (3), 2 chairs (2), 2 tickets (2), totaling 7 for the living room. All the furniture was badly damaged except the 2 rocking chairs. The kitchen has maybe 8 spoons all together so we bought plastic. The "Teflon" pans were scratched and peeling. There were maybe 2 pans adequate for meals. The whole kitchen looked like an afterthought. We did find adequate towels but there were only 7 pillows in the whole house. We bought pillows and cases. And not a throw pillow spare cases in the place to make up the difference. I've done a lot of rentals, own 2 time shares, and stayed in lots of voyeurs and campgrounds. O also own long term rentals and I don't think I've left a wire review. I realize the rentals are premium during the holidays and I was lucky to find one on short notice but this was the most I've ever paid for the worst condition I've ever stayed in. Oh, and 8 people produce a lot of trash. Need some thing better than "bring it down to the rental office. Thank goodness for GPS!I'm not into knick knacks but property furnishings are a must!You might also add more than 1 board game and what was with those videos?!I did leave a tip as I used to be a motel maid but not as much as usual.

Overall it was a good family Thanksgiving trip. I reported the dishwasher was leaking on Wednesday night. No one ever came to check it out before we left on Sunday morning. It was a challenge preparing a dinner with only one large pot. The downstairs bedroom definitely needs a new mattress (it sinks in the middle). The living room area needs a larger television like the one downstairs or swapped out. The housekeeping cleaning was inadequate. There was dried feces on the downstairs toilet seat upon arrival(even though there was a paper seal on it like it had been properly cleaned). One of the chairs had a large amount of bird poop on the headrest part preventing you from being able to sit back in it on the side porch. I picked the location because it was close to downtown Helen. I love how beautiful they decorate for the holidays. I'll probably choose a different property in the future for my family.

The roads going to the cabin are one way and is rough terrain. I would suggest also to mention in the property’s rules etc. to be sure and take any needed food necessities including basic supplies like condiments, coffee and supplies. We had brought some food but did not bring those items.

Excellent rental experience. Check-in was smooth. Sherry is amazing!!!! The house was clean. The beds were comfy. Enough bath towels for all guests. The last road leading up to the cabin is unpaved and rocky. In dry weather, any car will travel just fine through that road. If you are traveling on an icy day, be cautious.

I brought my daughter for her sweet 16th birthday. We brought two of her friends. The hot tub and ping pong table were big draws and big hits! Everything was just as I expected. This cabin is down a dirt road and very remote from the main road- yet still very close to Helen.

I stayed with my sisters and nieces and my daugter. It was an girls only vacation just for the weekend with the intent of going tubing in Helen. The cabin was comfortable and had all the necessary utensils in the kitchen and enough towels. No towels for the hot tub or if you are going to the river, so bring your own. Make sure to bring every condiment and seasoning that your food will need. The water is very hot so be careful when showering. I didn't use the hot tub but my sisters said it was good and clean. Be careful outside, we saw a copperhead in the patio where the hot tub is. We also saw a deer. I would have liked to have a mop and extra hand towels for the kitchen. Be patient if using the washer, it does a weird lid lock/release cycle that makes you think the washer is not working, but it really is. Bring your laundry detergent if you plan to bring home clean clothes, specially if you go to the river. The road is gravel, which makes it fun going up and down the hills on the way to the cabin. There is a small waterfall in one of the main gravelk roads whick makes it a good picture spot. I got courtesy calls asking if all was ok. I do recommend this cabin, neighbors are far and you will not hear anyone.

Overall was a great stay plenty of room for everyone and lots to do around the area. The only suggestion i would have is more towels for guest use. Only two per guess and with a small child that can go quickly. I would diffently stay again and recommend to friends and family.

We wanted to celebrate our wonderful husbands for Father's Day weekend and we're thrilled to find this wonderful place for us to share. The kids had separate play and sleep areas and the parents got some well deserved peace and quiet. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Cant wait to come back again soon!

Knotty Pine was better than we could've imagined. The spacious three bed three bath cabin was spotless and well maintained. The hottub was also very clean and a lovely treat. Georgia Mountain rentals kept me updated with emails and courtesy calls. I would definitely book with them again.

We had a great time at the Knotty Pine Fairy Tale Cottage. This was one of the best rental experiences for my family. The cabin was as pictured. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. The cabin was well laid out with enough space and privacy for everyone. It was clean and exactly as advertised. It was close to everything we wanted to do in our vacation. The manager's turn by turn directions were spot on. We also got a call to make sure everything was fine. I would rent it again. Thank you.

The cabin is very nice. On a private lot surrounded by woods. Good design with each room having it's bathroom. About 10 min drive to Helen. The last couple of miles to the cabin are on an unpaved, one way road so something to consider. We enjoyed our stay.
