The centralized location and renovated 18th century Georgian-style homes, brick sidewalks and gas-lamp street lighting give an old-time charm to the historic neighborhood, which was once owned by William Baxton, the first European settler of Boston in 1625. Residents now include Senator John Kerry and other celebrities of the political, athletic, and financial worlds.

Don't miss the street vendors at Haymarket (the country's oldest outdoor market), the shops at Quincy Market (the country's largest indoor food court), and the street performers and nightlife outside Faneuil Hall.

► Back Bay adjoins the Beacon Hill neighborhood, offering scenic brick-lined streets, Victorian architecture, and plenty of opportunities to people-watch and do some upscale shopping on Newbury St., touted as the "Rodeo Drive of the East." Nearby Copley Square is home to the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, Boston's two tallest skyscrapers.

► Easy access to government, health care, the Financial District, and area colleges, including Harvard, MIT, BU Dental, Suffolk, MGH, and Northeastern.

This is a very easy place to get to; it is really close to all Train Lines.

I liked the property overall, the only downside of the it was the A/C that was too high and I couldn’t regulate it properly and it wasn’t extra blankets.

Excellent location. The unit is nicely updated with a new kitchenette. Some things to tweek, some minor, some significant. The key is kept in a KeyCafe in a 7-11 a good walk away from the apartment. We asked for early access and were told it was coming. We were only told of the location and distance at the exact checkin time, after asking, and had to walk a bit to get it before gaining access. That said, the KeyCafe concept works great. Put in a code, a little door opens, voila. Earlier & clear communication would have managed expectations. The sofa seems to be missing back cushions, so when you sit on it, you have to either sit way at the front edge or you're left leaning way back. Also the stools at the bar are narrow, hard, and have a notable front edge, so they are not comfortable for any length of time. Between these two things, there's nowhere to comfortably sit. There was a message that we'd get a WIFI code. There was no response when asked twice. Had to make do from Friday to Monday hot spotting it. Wine glasses & coffee mugs, but no regular cups/glasses. One coffee cup still had coffee stains in it, one wine glass had finger & sipping prints. Some things to add, a clock somewhere easy to see, a box of tissues, and a silverware drawer organizer. Overall a good stay, but some tweeks would make this a 5/5.

We booked this property last minute due to an emergency, I booked wit Expedia but then got emails from VRBO and Staynue confirming the booking which confused me. We tried contacting the host by email to ask about entry and got no reply and then again because we may get in late and no reply and then our flight was cancelled so another message so say we would be a day late and no reply. I checked in online and it states to pick the keys from a key cafe, the link would not work. We arrived at the property and the link stil would not work none of the help features on the contact me part of the app would work so we had to give up and seek alternative accommodation at 7.00pm. We have since been in contact with Expedia,VRBO, staynue and the host and no one is will to help, so if booking this place please make sure you’ve heard from the host because you get no help from anyone and the checkin and entry system is shocking.

This unit was perfect for my solo visit to Boston. The location was perfect for all the sites that were on my to do list for my trip and I was able to walk everywhere. The only hiccup was that I was told my keys would be available after 1;00, but when I went to the kiosk to get the keys, I couldn’t get them until 3:00. The unit was clean, the perfect size, and very comfortable. Definitely recommend for a solo traveler or group of two!

Great location. As advertised.
Great location. As advertised.
The best part about this property is the location. The unit itself is serviceable, with the kitchen being a bit under stocked with glassware. The bed was a bit uncomfortable and the sofa a bit disheveled with a bedspread thrown over it. Our late check in was handled very well; however, the checkout via key kiosk which was not working, not so much. I ended up leaving the key in the unit as we had to leave in a time-sensitive manner! Overall a reasonable unit and a reasonable value.
