Nice people. Great location. Clean room. Dog friendly.

AKA and Booking scam you. They allowed four of us to sleep in one bed. The publication is misleading. Nobody takes charge. A shame. They pass the responsibility between them and the only one who pays is the Client. Regrettable.

The room was large and clean. Great location right on Boston Commons. The staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. It was a very busy day there due to a parade and the bellmen and lobby staff stayed cool under the pressure. "Better Sorts" lounge was great for meals and drinks.
There was no mention of the hotel being under construction on the website or in speaking with hotel staff. Photos of a beautiful lobby and an area with a pool table were concept photos. There was no lobby and the reception area was quite tight. They didn't have room service which was a surprise. Also, I requested early check-in, which they were eventually able to accommodate (about 3 hours early), but they charged for it which I've never had happen. It just seemed like they were still getting off the ground or something. Not a well-oiled machine.

Location is excellent. We stayed 4 nights and wanted to explore the city. That’s we picked AKA even it was pricey, $300 per night. We really love the location. As for the service, it was two sides. The evening shift front office staff were very friendly with customer focus oriented. The social hour staff, for both evenings, two different staffs, one male and one female, both were excellent and cheerful.
What made us to lower the evaluation score was the day time front office staff, very disappointed. For twice, one morning, before we went out my wife asked for a bottle water but rejected. And one afternoon when we came back home, outside was 91 degrees, we were exhausted and heated. We asked the staff for water. The young woman said no, because water was only for give to people when they check in. We explained and said we stayed here for four nights, and we really feel tired and wanted take rest in the lobby. She said she had no authority, need to check with her manager. The manager just sit next to her with phone on her hand and listened, but not talking. The young woman stood inside the counter, and we three standing outside of the counter, we waited for 10 minutes, the manager just pretend didn’t see or aware of anything. We finally gave up. What kind of the working attitude and customer service the manager was! Very disappointed for staff like her working in a 4-star hotel.

Location, location, location. The room and bathroom were both quite large. We actually had room to move. Plenty of storage. Comfortable bed. Not too noisy, considering the hotel is located on a major route street. Good and fairly stable internet connection, although not a secure connection.
We were in a handicapped room where the handheld shower didn't work. I asked about it more than once at the front desk but never got a satisfactory answer about if and when it could be made operational. It was not repaired during our five-day stay. I requested a microwave when we checked in, and had to request it again a couple days later when we needed it. We had to request coffee pods every day. There was a surprising lack of electrical outlets and other device connections.

The location is great. The service are good. When I need microwave and plates, they sent them to the room.
The bathroom has no lock. There are two shower heads and it took me a while to figure out switch to the main one. Wasn’t able to figure out turning water colder. The staff are not so friendly, when I ask questions about the laundry facilities, they are not so patient.

Great Location, could not be better.
Nice interior design of the rooms, very welcoming and cozy.
Felt very comfortable in the room, great bed…
Staff not really helpful or encouraged or friendly.
We asked twice for a cup of coffee and it took 1 hour in the end….
Receptionist told my wife she had carry her luggage to the car by herself because there’s no bellman available and it”s not the duty of front desk…
Not acceptable for a hotel at this price….
Only the bellman on arrival was great…

Drain in bathroom was clogged--flooded the ENTIRE bathroom, soaking my clothes which I had to pack wet. The bedroom mirror was filthy. The music in the elevator was WAY too loud.
