Well kept, spacious, clean and quiet. Neighbors are friendly and helpful. Close enough to Dublin City. Beach is close by. Host was very friendly and answered all questions. Kitchen is well stocked with all items one could need. 10 out of 10 recommend and would stay again.

Our stay at the Cottages was great! The pictures don’t quite capture just how spacious the property is. It was a pleasant surprise! There was some confusion regarding the check-in process as there were some very important details, such as contacting the hosts 48 hours prior to check-in and towels being an additional charge, in what appeared to be the fine print on the final payment receipt. We missed this information and arrived to the property without much to go on. That said, the property manager, Dora, was amazing and remedied these issues quickly! Lucky for us, she left the keys in the door just in case we did arrive. She was also understanding and made herself available to answer all future questions or concerns. The place itself was very comfortable and convenient to the beach, Drogheda and Dublin! I would absolutely stay here again if we ever travel back to Ireland.

These holiday cottages are delightful. They are set way back from the road and therefore quiet. The rooms are spacious and very well equipped. There is no short cut to the beach, as the area has several such separate estates, but it is walkable. We arrived at the beach unwittingly in time for the Laytown horse races, which was a pleasant surprise. Good shops/supermarkets on the way to the beach. Efficient and friendly A&E at the hospital in Drogheda which I hope no-one else needs!

The cottages are well maintained and the location is quiet. The lovely walled garden with paths is especially lovely.
My husband could not use his phonecomputer as no WIFI - honestly, it will make us think about this location as our choice in future as we cannot contact our daughter when in the cottage. If no WIFI a landline for local calls would be helpful.

Our family stay in June was perfect!
From the friendly welcome of the beautiful Dora, to the lovely grounds with old stone work, this accommodation definitely helped to make our trip! Our kids 2&8 were able to run free out the stable doors of our 3 bed house, into the secluded and safe grounds and play the day away! Our host Dora even invited us to her children's birthday BBQ in the common area, everyone got on great and new friends were made all round! Just minutes from the beach and all amenities, food, bars, supermarket, golf course.. in the lovely seaside town of Bettystown, and only a half hour North of Dublin, it far outbeats the thoughts of keeping the kids confined in a hotel room somewhere! At low tide you can drive right onto the beach and don't worry about the sand because the house has a washing machine and drying racks. The kitchen has everything you need and the place was lovely and bright and airy with older stable elements here and there. The sitting room has a fire place, cable TV and the sofa is also a pull out bed. There was a travel crib and a high chair in the closet and upstairs all beds had warm bedding with extra's in the hot press. Plenty of storage in each bedroom if you wanted to unpack too. A main bathroom and an en suite with shower in the master bedroom, ensured that everyone had their privacy. The kids passed out each night from playing all day in the sea air, listening to the waves crashing with the window open.. Highly recommended for all ages :)
