Location fantastic.
Comfy bed, spacious room , lots of storage space
Friendly staff
Sink in bathroom too small , shelf too low
Rattling door , cold breeze blowing through gaps
Very noisy with deliveries , room based on carpark.
Not a great deal of choice at breakfast, no cereal, no fruit, no yoghurt. Poached eggs on eggs Benedict overcooked .

Ambience. Cosy and welcoming pub.

Excellent staff and very enjoyable stay in a wonderful location. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic.
Food and wine were a little expensive but it was a rare treat for us so we didn't mind paying for very good food.

Lovely old pub with atmosphere and good food

This is a beautiful pub with rooms in a quiet location. Our room in the main building was tastefully decorated with fabulous facilities. The bar and restaurant were lovely with a great range of food and drinks. All the staff were so welcoming and made us feel very relaxed.
There was nothing we didn’t like about the property apart from the narrow lane to it.

The Swan is a great pub with good food and nice rooms in a great location for flying out of Bristol Airport.
The bar shut a bit early without warning and I couldn’t get any hot water out of the shower it was stone cold! I turned the knob both ways and left it run quite a while!

Wow what a great place this was! Quiet inn with big heart, fantastic staff, great food, beautiful local people to chat with, comfortable room. It was the highlight of our trip. Wendy took us under her wing immediately and ensured we had a table for the much anticipated Sunday roast. Will definitely return!
All so good
4.7
Great location and good atmosphere. Rooms were lovely and the bed very comfortable
Tea and coffee facilities excellent
Breakfast seemed a bit obscure as it wasn’t apparent what we were meant to do.

Nice and quiet at night time , great breakfast

This place was a great find! We used it following a late flight arrival. Its so much nicer than the hotel airports and only 10 mins drive. The breakfast was fantastic with a great range of options for all the family and the rooms we're beautiful. Beds very comfy and a great shower too. I can't fault the place in any way. It was great value for money and felt more like an extension of our holiday rather than stop over.
Everything was perfect!

Beautiful food, lovely room and great location !
It was a little bit cold in the room but it was a really cold night . The shower temp was also a little cold

Breakfast was excellent, cooked to perfection, everything you could possibly want. Cosy, comfy, surroundings, great atmosphere, lovely location for peaceful walks.
Loose sugar sachets in room would be preferable, as a whole cube is too much for us & difficult to break in half or quarter as we only like a little amount of sugar. Also an instant coffee sachets would have been preferable to my husband.
4.7
It was in a beautiful area and had an excellent restaurant .

This is a lovely pub with great accomodation, there were lots of finishing touches in the room, I am occasionally finding that some high rated hotels are not offering, complimentary prosecco and zero free beer, bottled water, aromatherapy products including pillow spray, stocked mini bar, tea, herbals teas, hot chocolate, nice glasses, the bar is cosy and rustic, the pub garden very rural and pretty, the food is excellent including the breakfast, it is dog friendly which we love, the room was on the smaller size but more than adequate for what we wanted, the price was also very good, we stayed in the roxburrow room, we had a great stay and would most definately book again.

Great convenient overnight stay for Cheddar Gorge to break the journey from Cornwall to Surrey. In a lovely quiet location and perfect for some walks in the Mendip Hills.
Room was very clean and modern with even a nice treat of small complimentary bottle of Prosecco in the fridge (with fresh milk for the tea & coffee).
Bed very comfortable and breakfast choice was good

A typical quaint English countryside pub in a beautiful setting. Easy to find and park. Food in the restaurant was priced fairly and good quality. Rooms were very clean and had those extra bits of comfort like wine and champagne glasses. We only stayed one night as we had an early flight but would consider coming again for a weekend away.
Nothing really.

Loved it. Staff the friendliest on our whole trip.
Will definitely be back.

Second visit to the Swan Inn. As previously, room was beautifully appointed, clean and with a very comfortable bed. Cafetiere coffee and speciality teas in the room were nice touches, as was the complimentary Prosecco... Food and drinks were excellent in a cosy yet bustling bistro style bar and eating area. 6 miles from Bristol Airport, so perfect for a stop over either to or from a flight. Could not recommend the Swan highly enough.
Nothing, very satisfied in all respects

Le calme, la restauration sur place, l'emplacement

Exceptional attention to detail. The room was beautifully decorated, light and airy, very confortable bed with lovely bedding. Great selection of teas and coffees and the mini bar had a selection of good quality drinks and snacks. Enormous shower with lovely shower gel and shampoo. Good hair dryer. Ironing board and iron. TV with netflix and radio.
Really good breakfast.
Everything was perfect but if I had to find something I didn't like it would be the fact that the car park was right outside our room. It didn't really create a problem but it spoilt a bit the general beautiful atmosphere of the place.
4.7
Excellent from the moment we arrived until we left. Complementary drink on arrival were greatly appreciated. Proper milk in the fridge for tea and coffee. Room was very clean and tidy with music playing on dab radio. Very warn day and the dyson fan was put to good use. Evening meal of high quality and breakfast was superb. Location was beautiful.
Air con would have been nice but not very eco friendly.

Lovely property, room and surroundings
Had a bit of an issue with dinner as it was not as described on the menu.
4.7
Accommodation very comfortable. Staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Had not booked dinner beforehand but a table was made available for us. Complimentary Prosecco and fresh milk in minibar most pleasing.
Nothing. Everything excellent.

Excellent hotel, close to Cheddar Gorge and the staff had very nice manners. The facilities were good and everything just seemed to be a higher standard.
The food was excellent and the price point was good considering the excellent quality you're getting!

Excellent place to stay. Location perfect. Spotlessly clean. Would recommend

Room was fantastic
Front of house staff (Charlotte) was amazing and made us feel welcome
Restaurant was very busy with a long waiting time for service
Breakfast options were unclear
4.7
The room was lovely and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The complimentary items (don't miss the prosecco, as we did) were very welcome. The cooked breakfasts were delicious too, although a bowl of meusli wouldn't have gone amiss.
The dinners were pretty good too, although the mains we chose were both off. One was veggie and only left the veggie burger and the other was a fish dish which only left fish and chips. In the end, the mains we chose were very tasty, as was the dessert, but a little more choice (veggie and fish especially) would be appreciated.
