About this house rental
Chambers Delight is a beautifully remodeled 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath home in the Chamberlands neighborhood. This amazing home has everything you'll need to enjoy a spectacular vacation in Tahoe and is a great place for entertaining! The kitchen is spacious and boasts granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, wood flooring and is well-equipped for everyday cooking.
There's beautiful Alder wood cabinets and doors throughout the home, updated bathrooms, also with granite counter tops; and amenities such as washer, dryer, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, television with cable in the living room and smaller television in the king bedroom downstairs, wireless internet access and a large stone (gas) fireplace in the living room.
Upstairs, you'll find the kitchen, dining room, living room, half bath, primary bedroom with a king-size bed and attached bathroom with tub/shower, and the second bedroom, which has two twins. There are also two decks, both equipped with patio furniture and a gas BBQ (summer only). Downstairs are the other two bedrooms, both with a king-size bed. The bathroom is in the hall and has a tub/shower. Lastly, there’s a large laundry room with washer and dryer.
This home is just minutes to Homewood Mountain Resort, Palisades/Alpine Ski Resort and Northstar at Tahoe ski areas.
SUMMER ONLY (mid-May until mid-September): One of the best amenities this home offers is membership to the Chamber's private beach, pool and tennis club where you get to enjoy the benefits of the white sandy beach, swimming pool and tennis courts. Shuttle bus available to get to and from the beach.
This home can accommodate up to 8 people maximum (including children).
This home does not allow any parties or events as this home is in a residential neighborhood, and quiet time is from 9pm-8am. Thanks for your cooperation!

We had a wonderful start at Chambers Delight. The location was perfect for us as we didn’t prefer to be in the hustle and bustle of South Lake Tahoe. The peaceful surrounds provided easy drivable access to hiking, fishing and to a beach by the lake. We didn’t make it to the private beach as we couldn’t find parking and didn’t want to wait for the bus. Lots of cute, smaller restaurants and markets nearby. Or treat was having a small bear wander through while I was reading on the deck (he didn’t stick around).
The house itself was great for our party of 4, but could accommodate a few more. All the supplies we needed for grilling on the deck and relaxing for a few nights in.

Chambers Delight was the perfect base camp for our Tahoe family getaway!
With 50 plus years vacationing on the west side of Tahoe we felt right at home in Chambers. All our favorite hikes easily accessible and who doesn’t love the beach and pier at Chambers.
Cabin slept 7 of us comfortably and had all the comforts of home!
Would definitely stay here again.

Our family had a great stay in this beautiful home. The home is clean, updated and fully stocked with plenty of towels, extra linens, and kitchen items. All of us thought the beds were probably the most comfortable beds we've had in a rental! We took our young girls, ages 8 and 5 to ski at Homewood Resort, only a couple blocks away. We highly recommend this resort for families, our instructor was phenomenal! It wasn't overly crowded, no long lines when getting our gear, food or lifts. It snowed all weekend for us so when we weren't skiing we were playing in the yard building snowmen and sledding. We didn't see any bears, but appreciated the electric fence just in case! The fireplace in the living room was a powerhouse! Loved how warm it kept us while we played games and puzzles in the evenings. Management had great communication throughout our stay and check in/out was a breeze!

We stayed here in February with another family for ski week. The house was great. Open and comfortable. Great kitchen with all the tools. Location is very nice and quiet and just a short walk to the lake. Was very pleased with this rental.

Overall a lovely location! We loved driving along the lake every morning and evening coming and leaving the slopes. Some issues with heat and cleanliness but overall a nice stay.

Out of propane for bbq and fire pit for first few days of week. BBQ did not work and was not useable even after propane was delivered. Was told by management co. that parking boat trailer on road shoulder was not acceptable to Placer Co Sheriff. Spoke with deputy sheriff in person at property and they were not aware of this restriction. House needs an investment in drinking glasses and cookware. Both marginal.

Beautiful location! We did experience quite a few bugs in the house and there was an opened granola bar in one of the dresser drawers. Other than that, it was a nice cabin feel and great spot. We really enjoyed ourselves! We did see a bear outside our house and the bear horn was out of juice. The management company was very responsive on all of our requests.

Great stay by the lake!
I was thoroughly impressed by the home Julie has to offer to her guests right by the lake. The pictures definitely do not do the place justice as it exceeded our expectations in all regards. My only suggestion would be to check the water heater, our group ran out of hot water to shower fairly quickly.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. All instructions, etc. were well done and made the entry and check out processes quite simple. The only recommendations would be: 1.) to get a larger or tankless water heater as the hot water runs out quite quickly; 2.) provide instructions regarding firewood for the fireplace as we would have liked to make a fire in the fireplace; 3.) perhaps add another TV. Otherwise, everything was awesome! Thanks so much.
