Great location to beach access and the pool was wonderful to hang out with the family! Elevator was very helpful carrying all supplies upstairs! Had lots of fun sitting on front deck watching sunrise and listening to waves.

The only good things about this rental is the view, location, pool and hot tub. Needs maintenance and updated.

This home was perfect for what we were looking for. Location to the beach made access easy. During a big storm some of the exterior of the property was damaged and got a quick response once reported. Nothing to complain about here and would definitely stay again!

The house was compact but we all had comfortable beds. The kitchen was well equipped. No elevator for the first 3 days made it difficult with a 97 year old, but we were compensated for this.

Home was very clean and beautiful! Elevator was awesome for unpacking/packing. Walk to the beach was so easy and close! Only complaint is the beds are HARD! Other than that it was a prefect trip!

Regatta is a great value!
Clean; well-stocked kitchen; good beds, professionally made up (by a former nurse?); good views; elevator great; very good beach house for the money. Complaints: kitchen range burners not level or don’t fit; antique CD/cassette player needs replacement — couldn’t play our CDs.

What a beautiful week!
The weather was perfection! It is a quick walk to the beach and the views from the house are enjoyable. Unfortunately, the washing machine broke mid-week as did the dishwasher. Some of the dining room chairs need to be replaced and some of the plumbing could use some attention… the sink on the kitchen leaks of the fitting loosens, some of the toilets run and the bathroom sink can not be on high volume as water will spurt everywhere. This was noted to customer service so hopefully these items can be repaired for future guests.

A BIG thank you to the owners of Regatta for having us for an extended stay. Our weeks in Feb-April working remotely and enjoying the fresh air, ocean views (from the hot tub!), and Long Beach walks were an amazing escape from city life. Regatta is perfectly located just one lot back from the ocean and was an incredible value. The homes upstairs is a great common space and down stairs well designed to make the home comfortable for many guests. The house is VERY well equipped with everything you would need for a weekend, week, or month(s) - great kitchen / cooking utensils, solid fridge and stove etc. All rooms have TVs which we used as computer monitors. The house does have a landline which gets some telemarketing calls but when in OBX it’s not a bad idea to have a back up communication method. The home has an elevator if anyone in your party is disabled. We were unable to use the pool due to the time of year but it would be awesome for the summer - good size and depth and EXCELLENT wooden pool side loungers. The fencing around the pool gives both privacy and protects from wind. In March it’s warm but the wind chill can be intense so sitting poolside for lunch was a regular enjoyment. We had a few issues, but I’m comfortable attributing them to the off-season - we had issues getting in upon arrival (which Vacasa made up for!), the dishwasher needs replacing(unable to get it during our stay but will be new for the season!), and frankly the house was just very dusty. None of these things would deter me from staying again or recommending the property. Overall this home is very comfortable, it’s not over the top but is great for time at the beach. I’d recommend a little TLC prior to the summer (new paint etc.) but it’s very enjoyable. Thank you again and we hope to see you in the future.

Overall, we had a very good time and enjoyed our stay. The location is absolutely amazing; less than a minute walk to the beach and ocean views with the sounds of waves crashing 24/7. The pool is wonderful and fully stocked with all the different floaties. The house itself is clean for the most part, aside from some dusty shelves on the tv stand and coffee table, and one particularly dirty shower curtain. Unfortunately, we came to realize that many things in the home were either broken or not functioning properly. The screen in the patio is torn and ripped off in a variety of places, a burner on the stove is completely useless, blender doesn’t work, the sliding door to get the patio was very hard to open and would often get stuck, there were some rusty nails sticking out of places on the stairs. After a day at the beach, we put our clothes in the washing machine, only to later find out that the dryer didn’t work. None of that made better by the fact that the beds in every room were so hard and pretty uncomfortable.. This rental definitely didn’t give that “home-away-from-home” feeling. At the end of our stay, rather than wishing for just one more day, we found ourselves ready to return to the comforts of home. TL;DR Ultimately, we did have a great time. With some upgrades and proper maintenance, this would definitely be 5-stars and we would happily return.

A waste of money. Do not recommend.
This house needs to be updated, inside and out. When we drove up the first thing we noticed was the basketball goal. The net was ripped and hanging by one loop . Our kids were so excited about having a pool, but it hadn’t been cleaned! There was sand all in it and bugs floating around. Also, there was a film around the waters edge. The realty group sent someone to clean it the next day but I still didn’t trust it. It took us a few minutes to find the right entry door. The house is very dated, though the online pics do suggest that. I don’t care about looks as much as cleanliness though. I found dead flies on the beds and kitchen counter. I could write my name in the dust on the TV stand. Due to Covid, beds were only covered with mattress cover. We were told that the linens were located on the lowest level of the house. We couldn’t find them! Thankfully I had thrown in a few flat sheets and we made do till the next day. The beds were awful to sleep on. Hard on our backs. We spent the day at the beach and decided to go back home (5hrs away) that afternoon. I wasn’t sleeping on those beds another night. I was contacted on the third day by the realty group and was told that our sheets were there. They were outside on the ground, by the trash cans, in a black container. WTH puts linens outside!!! That’s gross, even if they are wrapped up supposedly. And they could not put out comforters due to Covid. So, they left thin blankets on the bed. Horrible customer service! I asked about getting reimbursed and nothing was offered to me! We paid $1200 for a 4 night stay. What a waste of money!!! I won’t be staying with Hatteras Realty again...
