About this cabin rental
Welcome to Condor, an AvantStay home!
Tucked away in the trees, this mountain home provides seclusion in an idyllic, natural setting. While its cabin-style exterior is made entirely of rustic wood, the home’s interior is bright and contemporary with spacious rooms and plush furnishings. An open floor plan, two living areas, and a full apartment in the casita ensure that your group has plenty of room to spread out. After a day of outdoor activity, head to the hot tub and admire the stars through the sunroom’s glass ceiling. A stay at Lucerne is a truly unique experience.
Home to the country’s largest and arguably most beloved ski resort, Vail sits at the heart of the Rocky Mountains, delighting travelers with its unbeatable, panoramic views. In the winter, it’s no surprise that skiing is the top attraction as 5,289 acres of fresh powder provide a thrill for both beginners and pros to enjoy. The town’s ideal summer climate lends itself to fantastic hiking, outdoor sports, and fields of lush flowers to admire. With access to gourmet restaurants, boutique shops, and year-round activity, Vail’s visitors will find something exciting at every turn

We loved this house. It is bright and airy inside. The rooms are comfortable and big. It was just the two of us, but there was plenty of space for other people. Beautiful views out the windows. Awesome hot tub with starry night views (but covered). We could walk to breakfast, but felt like we had a property to ourselves (lots of privacy). Everything is very close (good restaurants, grocery). We cooked at home a few times and the kitchen was well stocked. Can't wait to visit again!

Had a great time staying here with some friends. Driveway is tough in the winter, and its a bit of a journey to get to the ski slopes without driving, but there is a bus stop about ~8 mins walking away that takes you. The house was very nice on the inside (much nicer than I even thought based on the pictures) and the hosts were very responsive to all emails. The jacuzzi is very large and overall it was a very nice stay. It was a very private property.

Driveway is actually a steep road that is about 1/4 mile long. Had to carry luggage and children up and down this road. All of our party fell several times. Neighbors helped us and said this is a common occurrence and that this property should not be rented in the winter. The path from garage to house is narrow and is unlit without handrails. Several of our guests fell off the path, suffering a two foot drop. We reached out to the manager and we were not compensated for this awful experience. This property should come with a warning and minimum physical requirement.

Rustic old house with character and plenty of space.
This is a rustic four-story house, apparently built around 1930. Included is a nice little apartment above the two-car garage. The kitchen was stocked with some essentials. The dining room table was large enough to seat our entire group of 12. Laundry facilities were good. We were not far from grocery shopping opportunities, yet we saw up to four deer in the yard, close to the house nearly every day. The house is surrounded by a beautiful birch forest, and it was difficult to see the nearest neighbor. One note of caution: the house and bedrooms require using stairways. The steps inside the house are OK, but the rough-rock steps and walking path to approach the house are also rustic and could be challenging for person who have difficulties walking.

All good, isolated location but still close to everything.
