Jennifer was great! She communicated anytime I reached out. Had a slight issue and she was on it and helped us! Thanks again!

Community is great, location in the Keys is great, house was perfect for our family of 3.
4.6
Stayed for a three day guided fishing trip. Quiet, clean and easy access to al of the lower Keys. Good food near by also.
4.6
Really nice place! Awesome for fishing trip. Great amenities in venture out. They even have a power washer at the boat launch for when you’re done with your boat for your stay. No filet table at house.
4.6
We enjoyed the location, but rusty walls and fixtures in the bathrooms made it filthy. There is not enough room to safely walk around the beds. Limiting the amount of ac that we were told we could use made it uncomfortable. The front door didn’t properly lock - we had to use a 2x4 to secure it. Neighborhood maintenance was good, the VRBO’s was poor at best.

Good:
• Great dock for boats. Great access for boating and jet skiing.
• All kitchen appliances worked.
• Comfortable living room
• Good WiFi
• Nice patio/deck
• Good A/C
• Good water pressure and hot water.
Bad:
• Very poorly stocked for kitchen supplies and cooking utensils - no salt and pepper, spices, etc…. Only one spatula that was melted. Limited on garbage bags, dish washer detergent. No separate receptacle for recycling.
• BBQ didn't work. Only a small portion of the element would lite then get blown out by wind
• No strainers in the kitchen sink. Constantly digging out food from the drains so sink would drain.
• Bed rooms were cramped. Constantly stubbing toes and slamming knees into the the side of the bed. Need to watch for the ceiling fan when changing shirts. Hands get hit by the fan if not careful. Also very difficult to get dressed, change clothes, etc…no room
• Bathrooms where cramped.
• Only two small bars of soap provided…hotel size. No shampoo, body wash, etc..
• Front door did not lock. Lock was broken.
• We booked many months in advance and wasn't told about the $125 Venture Out fee until two months before our arrival date
Overall I have found better and cheaper rentals in the Middle Keys. I will not rent this location again.

Resorts was great love the pool and water....home was clean nice bedrooms and baths really small but we just sleep in them. Deck was great. To be in early morning watching sun rise...

We loved how safe we felt in the neighborhood and how the house was on the canal. Great for fishing. The house was also great & cozy ! Didn’t have any issues. Would stay here again !

The house itself would have been great if it were cleaner. It also needs more kitchen items to help with cooking. The bedrooms were so small that you would bump toes and knees just trying to get around the bed. One bed was even broken and help up by a couple of 2x4's underneath. View was good, neighbors were great. One bad experience was with parking. They do tell you that only 1 car could park and you would have to use overflow parking, what they don't tell you is overflow parking gets full and you have to find something off site, for more money. checkin was at 3 and overflow parking was taken by 3:20. We had to go 2 miles away to park. This was very inconvenient

Blinds are filthy dirty, bathroom vents needs serios attention. Gross, shower curtain has stsins on it, bathroom walls have rust running down them from the light fixtures, queen bed and pillows are terrible to sleep on, pillows flat, doors missing on cabinets and laying in the closet for as much as you pay to stay there, one would think the property would be better maintenanced and kept up. The porch views were stunning overlooking the water.
4.6
We like the community and things to do around the rental.
4.6
Would have been nice to have beach towels and maybe measuring cups

I have rented at Venture Out 3 times but this rental has been the BEST stay so far! Look forward to renting this little home away from home again in the future. Everything was perfect! The view in the mornings was beautiful! The family/living/kitchen space was fabulous! Convenience of 2 bathrooms was AWESOME! Highly recommend this rental, you won't be disappointed.

The Good: The living, dining and kitchen area was roomy and open with cute beach themed decorations. The porch was the best part, it was great to sit and enjoy the view and dock area. The neighborhood was fine, it was mixture of homes and RV's, people were nice and friendly.
The bad: The bedrooms are extremely tight and having to walk around the bed sideways got really old after a day or two. The house was dirty. Floors were filthy, if we walked around barefooted the bottoms of our feet were black. It was dusty and upon arrival I was greeted with hair in the bathroom sink and on the walls. There were also discarded nut shells on the porch floor that was never swept. Upon leaving my friend commented that the house was cleaner than when we arrived, your welcome. All in all the house just needs a little TLC, rusted decorations, pots and pans need to be replaced, etc. Would we return, no.

We enjoyed a lot and had a great time.
The house had everything we needed and we felt very good there.
Also the venture out area with the pool was amazing.
We would recommend everyone.
Thanks a lot.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pictures were very accurate and the management team was very attentive to our needs when we had questions (amazingly quick to respond). Very nicely kept and has a gorgeous view! We were there for sportsmen week and it had everything we needed. Thank you for a superb stay!

Property is in a great location, decor is super cute and coordinated with the vacation theme.
Property Manager was very responsive and attentive. Locks seemed to not work on doors upon check in, she came right out and made the repairs. In refrigerator ice maker wasn't working, so she brought us a great counter top ice maker which was an awesome addition. It kept us from having to get ice for indoor drinks and outdoor drinks.
Would recommend updating cooking utensils and plates. Many were bent and plastic plates were a bit burnt due to hot food or microwave. A fish cleaning station would be a great addition and a small bait freezer for outdoors as well.
Understand, if you arent from Florida, know that Florida has bugs. Always be prepared to bring body bug spray for the noseeums and safe bug spray for the home. In no time critters can escape the heat and enjoy the cool air. Informed Management Co. to potentially secure a monthly service to keep these little guys from settling in.
Overall, everything was excellent and we will certainly return.

House was right on the water with a beautiful view. Property manager was very responsive. Check-in and check-out were very easy. Highly recommend this location.

My second time staying at this house. Love the location and my favorite back porch. I like getting up in the mornings and drinking some tea out back. Sea wall is great for our 25 ft Contender. Kitchen needs some work as there were cabinet doors missing and the kitchen has the bare minimum to cook. There wasn’t a garlic press and bare minimum utensils and cookware. I would have appreciated some food storage containers since we were there a week. If you are flying in; this kitchen will be a disappointment to you as most cabinets were empty. The kitchen needs new dishes too and new coffee cups. The coffee cup was chipped. Plastic wine glasses are terrible to drink wine out of and the glass wine glasses are for Chardonnay (very small). Overall, the host is fantastic to communicate with and the house is great. I will stay again as I just love it and I bring my own cookware. Just maybe there will be some food storage containers when I come back. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Great place with nice view from shaded deck
Plenty of room to lounge and cook
My only complaint is kitchen utensils were pretty limited and would have been nice to have a cooler to bring to the pool
4.6
This property was very nice and would stay again. The bedroom rooms were small but having a king was nice. The areas that the most time was spent was spacious and comfortable.
There was no ladder to get into or out of water for the kayaks and boat we rented. Neighbors were nice and let us use theirs.
4.6
We enjoyed our stay. We found the place just as nice as the pictures. It was updated and beautifully decorated. The owner was quick to answer any questions. Would definitely stay again.
4.6
Great waterfront property, great community with lots of amenities. Room for improvement on towels and fixing dryer noice.
Thanks for a lovely week.

The living room, dining and kitchen in this double-wide are nice, but the lack of space in the bedrooms was especially challenging for us. There is less than 2 feet along all sides of the beds, which makes it impossible to dress or do anything in the bedrooms except store your clothing. There are many fall risks for anyone 65+. The main living areas are surface clean, but the floors are very, very dirty. It was not possible to walk around without shoes at all. The outside area by the canal was relaxing and well stocked with outdoor furniture -- very enjoyable. Our fault that we didn't realize it was in a mobile home/RV park, but some people may love that environment. Overall, if it had a deep cleaning and smaller beds, it would be a comfortable place to vacation.

Stay was great and economical location was perfect for a lower Key get away.

VO511 is located in a desirable area of the Venture Out Resort. It is on a channel close to open ocean. The unit is clean and mostly comfortable. Upon check-in a couple of minor issues were cleared up by the property manager the following morning.
The Good:
The main living areas are spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances. There are modern, quiet, ceiling fans and large flat screen TV's in the living room and bedrooms along with comfortable couches in the living area. The patio furniture is clean and comfortable, too. Modern, stacked, washer and dryer included (laundry soap is not).
Would I stay here again? Probably not.
Why?
The bedrooms are so tiny that there is little room for movement around the beds. You have to turn sideways to move from the door to the other side of the bed. And wear shoes, 'cause you will most certainly stub a toe on the bed frame footing as you shuffle around the bed against the walls.
The bathrooms are tiny as well. I could fit either one in our shower at home. OK we have a nice walk-in shower in the master bath, but really, it's about the same size as either of these entire bathrooms. And the toilets? Where does one find one this small. And then there is what seems to be a common denominator with many (most?) VRBO's... The bedding... The sheets and pillows are of lower quality and well worn.
We are retired and travel a lot; three months or more a year. Much of our lodging is hotel or cruise ship based (so we can do 'tiny' (cruise ship cabin), but there are limits. Maybe we are just not 'cut-out' for the VRBO 'experience'...

Good location quite a few things broken at unit and black mold growing pretty heavy in the bathroom got my wife sick the whole trip.

The location is perfect we enjoyed every minute of it .

The rental was clean and it easy to access. I like the gated community.

We had the best time at this house! Excellent location. We loved having our boat tied up right in the canal. Made it so easy to come & go. The house is adorable & clean. It’s small but very well organized & have a place for everything. The kitchen & living space are pretty roomy. We liked visiting the pool after we had been boating & in the salt water each day. Felt so refreshing. Thanks for a great stay! We will be back.

This was excellent! 4 of us were there with it boat. Parked the boat right in front of the house! Only down is the bathroom pocket door didn't close but we made it work! Love love love this place and will rent again! So cute! So convenient, awesome security!

We had a wonderful time the location was great, close to all our fishing and diving spots. Will definitely book again.

Family vacation
Great location. The house was clean and had everything our family needed.

Thank You & Suggestions
Hello! Thank you for having such a nice vacation rental. The house had everything I needed. I was very clean and everything worked. No surprises which is always great. I have two suggestions. One is to replace the large skillet. The bottom has become warped so it doesn’t sit flush on the stovetop making cooking uneven. The other suggestion is to install a ladder on the sea wall so you can climb out of the water. Thank you

50th and 80th Birthday Celebrations!
House is really cute and we enjoyed ourselves. Perfect location and we enjoyed bringing our boat. Loved sitting out on the patio in the morning drinking our coffee.

Property appeared just as advertised. My son enjoyed fishing right out the back door, caught mangrove snapper daily, saw some nurse sharks, parrot fish, barracuda and other fish. Pool area was nice. Close to key west and restaurants. Bedrooms are tiny but no big deal. A few minor repairs needed such as one of the blinds in dining room didn’t open/close and the closet door to the washer/dryer was off tracks/not connected so we had to lift it to access washer/dryer. Would definitely come back.
