Wonderful, oceanfront, two bedroom, two bath, bungalow home is just ten feet from the open water ...incredible views. Located on the open water, with a 52' concrete dock/seawall complete with dock posts and fishing table - perfect for cleaning that 'catch of the day', and grilling it up for dinner. Beautiful views of the open water from the living room, dining room and kitchen.- perfect location for your boat or you can rent one nearby. Lovely decor with Claire Murray rugs, Laura Ashley king quilts and Spencer & Spencer pottery on the walls. Recreation center with billiards, darts, and ping pong. Post Office and a Library 24 Hour Gated Security. Well decorated with Claire Murray comforters and throw rugs with lots of hand made Spencer & Spencer pottery on the walls. 40' screened TV. We have not overlooked any utensil in the kitchen and of course a sturdy blender for tropical drinks!

Gated private community with 80 foot heated shared pool, large kiddie pool, salt water swimming area, marina, convenience market, small post office, 2 lighted tennis court, basketball, bocce courts, ping pong, and two large boat ramps, marina, ship's store. Our very cute little low key fishing community is friendly and has little houses as well as some campers.

Located just 15 minutes to either Key West to the west or Bahia Honda State Park (voted one of the top 10 beaches in the U.S.) to the east, a water-lover's dream. This 69 acre resort was created to put the ocean at your back door.

Area: We are located on accessible deep water boating channels to both the beautiful back country (bayside)as well as a quick ten-minute run to the open Atlantic (oceanside) and it's Coral Reefs. Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary is a nearby must for snorkeling and diving in the crystal blue Atlantic. On the gulf side, Cudjoe Key offers the Great White Heron National Wildlife Refuge...A kayak or small boaters paradise.

For Divers and Fisherman: The retired 523 foot WWII U.S. missile tracking ship Gen. Hoyt S. Vandenberg that once tracked space launches off Cape Canaveral, and also monitored Soviet missile launches during the Cold War, has been intentionally sunk off Key West in late May to become an artificial reef in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary.

The house had everything to stay comfortably. We stayed a week there. Enjoyed watching sunrise every morning and fished right there from the dock.

We had a wonderful stay! The weather wasn’t awesome so we didn’t get to take our boat out but we had plenty to do. The house was clean and beds were comfy. The only disliked we had was, we had to do extremely small loads so they would dry in dryer & some stuff had a sour smell, would’ve liked a pizza pan and cutter, and if there was a bait freezer somewhere that would’ve been great too! We will be staying here again! The views were great and location was awesome!

Corner of canal and Atlantic means best view and keeping the boat tucked safely in the canal. The covered porch with a large table was perfect to enjoy dinner and view even when it was raining. Beds are comfortable, shower had good water pressure, laundry and kitchen had everything you need. The only down side is bedrooms are small. It’s a tight squeeze to get around the bed but we didn’t mind. We definitely would stay here again.

I had a wonderful 2 week stay. It was better than advertised and the view off the back porch is indescribably beautiful. I had friends fly in and out of Key West with no problems. Only a 30min drive. We fished,snorkeled,ate delicious food,and watched the most gorgeous sunrises. Overflow parking and check-in were handled professionally by the security team. The unit was clean,spacious,and roomy for its size. I will definitely be back We nicknamed the back porch "Paradise Porch".

Stayed with another couple and thoroughly enjoyed the cottage. The porch is an awesome place to enjoy your morning coffee and the dock is an even better place to enjoy the sunset and a glass of wine! The property has all the amenities for a great vacation.

We had a memorable vacation here and plan to return! The house is roomy, providing all the comforts of home with a great Key West feel. We enjoyed the big open living/dining area and the well appointed kitchen with plenty of cabinet space. The home also provides two bedrooms and two baths..and the washer and dryer make life easy! Where we spent most of our time was the private patio with an open-water view and fishing in the canal. What a beautiful place to enjoy the sunshine, palm trees and wildlife! Cudjoe Key is also a great location--only 30 minutes to nearly any place in Key West with lots of local restaurants and coffee spots. We will be back!

The home had beautiful views pictures dont do it justice. The home was clean and well stocked with everything you would need. We look forward to our next stay at this location. Linda, is great to work with. She gives you all the information you will need to stay in Venture Out (where the home is located). If you take the time to read the information she gives you will have a smooth check-in/out.

Exactly 1/2 way to the Keys or Marathon. Very quiet and well kept community. Fabulous view and very clean. Good for two couples or family of 4. Enjoyed our stay… going back next fall!

Gated neighborhood with security guard 24/7, quiet and peaceful. Multiple pages of rules and a $125 gate fee upon arrival not disclosed until after booking. Zero tolerance for noise so bring your earbuds if you want to listen to music outdoors. Overall, the home was as advertised, easy check in and check out. The views from the porch and dock area are wonderful. There are lots of tropical fish at the dock. Great location and easy to access key West. Several great restaurants nearby. Win Dixie about 15 min away.

We had a wonderful time at this nice home located on the water. Outstanding water views and beautiful sunrises. Home was super clean with updates to the majority of the home, but the hall bath needs updating. Owner was super and answered any questions we had quickly. Gated complex was nice and staff were super friendly. Definitely recommend.

Not only is Venture Out a great place to stay, this house was amazing. Awesome spot right at the end of the canal, we watched the sunrise every morning. The boat was still protected not being on the main channel. The beds were extremely comfortable. Overall a great place for a family fishing vacation.

Great location overlooking the water, kids enjoyed fishing and watching the sharks come into the canal . Be sure to wake up early enough to catch the beautiful sunrise over the water. clean home and the owner Ms. Linda answered the only question we had very quickly. Would definitely stay there again.

The location is perfectly situated at the end of a canal facing the bay. From morning sunrises with coffee, to sunsets with cocktails the deck was very welcoming. The manager/ owner was pleasant to deal with. The appliances were new. Air conditioner worked well. A wonderful experience.

We LOVED this place. When you first walk in, you can smell how clean everything is. I mean EVERYTHING! Even all the towels and bed linens smelled wonderful. Location is awesome! We really enjoyed our days at the pool. Would definitely stay here again.

It was a great place to stay. My only suggestion is to not charge additional cleaning fees after the contract has been signed and paid for. Additionally you may want to update the VRBO listing to list the correct check in time. Other than that it was a great place to stay!

I absolutely love this place!!! Tranquil & peaceful!! The outdoor lounge chairs were quite a bonus!!! Washer/dryer helped a lot!! I ordered float tubes from Amazon. The canal is a great place to float & swim!!

Property is exactly as described. Incredible & relaxing views from the deck. Fully equipped. Check in process was easy and Linda is a wonderful communicator. Property is in Venture Out Resort which has over 650 sites for homes, RV's & trailers. Everyone is very friendly & respectful. The positioning of home the setup gives you the privacy like you mate home gives you full privacy from the rest of the park.

We traveled with our boat, and we were nicely accommodated with the first come, first serve trailer / boat parking in the overflow parking. We also were very happy with the dockage at our home we stayed in. Location was great, and easy to get out to the Atlantic to go fishing & snorkeling. The weather was fantastic all week.

The place was very nice. People very friendly. Unfortunately pets can only be on your rental site which ours was all gravel and made it difficult for our dog to use for bathroom purposes. Small lot. The dryer did not work, however owner did get it fixed, after we left. The owner was very nice and concerned it was not working and did have someone check it out promptly, but could not be fixed in time for our use. I would recommend this place for it has beautiful views, amenities, clean, and close to just about anything you would like to do. We really enjoyed our time there.

We were so excited about this stay but we were disappointed. The property is in a very nice area, but the furnishings and old mobile home parts need some upgrades. Furniture needs updated. TV's need updated (no smart tvs and tv in bedroom is basically a computer monitor). Vanity in extra bathroom is delaminating and peeling off around floor. Small gnats flying around in living room area. Showers are just barely basic with handheld wand shower head. Beds not comfortable. The positive is that the view is beautiful, but overall not what we expected.

The 4 of us had a full week in April 2022. From arrival to departure, we had a fantastic experience. Linda was responsive, guiding and helpful if needed. Amenities we capitalized on using included pickle ball, pool, and tennis were spot on perfect. Accommodations were great (beds, linens, 2 bathrooms, kitchen supplies) and we even started on day one playing the board game Florida-opoly in the cubby and finished it on the last day. We fished off the doc and caught the sunrise and sunset all 7 days! This was our 14/15 year-old teens 1st experience to the keys and the on-the-water cottage was a perfect fit. They want to go back! Highly recoommended folks!

We enjoyed our stay here. We wanted to be away from things, but close enough to go out if we wanted. The place was clean and everything was in working order. There were not a lot of people around, which was probably based on the time of year, so it was quiet and we spent a lot of time by the water reading.

Arrived right after the hurricane and understandably there were some repairs needed on the house. Linda and the home owner went above and beyond to accommodate us in another home for a few days while the house was finished. We had a wonderful 2 weeks and hope to visit again soon.
