If you are looking for a country, romantic cabin with mountain views, you've found it. Smokin SunSet it's just minutes to downtown Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountain National Park. Smokin SunSet was windows for admiring Mt. LeConte from the living room and bedroom. Imagine waking up to the beauty of the mountains and the lush woodlands every morning.
There are rocking chairs on the front deck to revel in the fresh breeze, the birdsong and yes the memorable sunsets. retire to the back deck and enjoy the silvery shimmer of the moonlight.
The living room has a 50 inch flat screen TV, a checker table and a gas fireplace to curl up to on those cold snowy nights. The kitchen is equipped with all the appliances, cookware, and tableware you'd expect from a home away from home. In addition, there's a charcoal grill out back to cook up those steaks and hamburgers.

I really needed to get away for a couple days. I was looking for seclusion with mountain views that was still close to Gatlinburg - this place nailed it. The cabin has tons of giant windows and places to relax outside. The views were incredible inside and out. The cabin was clean, about 25 mins from Gatlinburg, and very peaceful. Anita is a wonderful host! She was extremely responsive and understanding. She made sure all my questions were answered and I had everything I needed before I knew I even needed it. She gets things done and done right. The cabin is exactly as pictured with an atmosphere you really can't put into words, it was exactly what I was looking for and I'd come back in a heartbeat.

When we first walked in it smelled really good and was very clean. The view from the back porch is beautiful. There is a cabin beside it but it is still very private. Will definitely be booking again in the future.

The cabin was emasculate, well spaced out and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Anita gave clear check in and check out instructions. The back deck view was stunning and really the highlight of the property. The only 2 things that slightly detracted from the stay was that the cabin wasn’t quite as secluded as perhaps we had expected. It is located at the top end of a driveway where others drive up on gravel to get to their cabins and secondly, the air didn’t keep up with the heat. The evenings were much warmer than 74 (probably closer to 78/80), which made us v thankful for the ceiling fans. Aside from that everything was wonderful.

This property was as listed. The cabin was super clean and actually bigger than expected. We had a beautiful view of the mountains and even though theres other cabins near by, it still felt very private. It's about 30-35mins from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Pretty much anywhere we drove to it averaged 30-35mins. The property is also located really close to white water rafting! We would highly recommend this property and wouldn't mind booking it again in the future.

I needed to get away for a couple of days, and was looking for some peace and quiet. This cabin was absolutely perfect! It was immaculately clean, the view was stunning, the location was peaceful, and the property just beautiful. I met the owner as well. He’s a wonderful and kind man that takes good care of his properties and has a lot of pride in them. There are a few more cabins on the property, but this does not impact the privacy or quietness at all. Additionally, I found the check in and check out process very easy, and communication from the property manager was great as well. I will definitely be back! Thank you for a great vacation.

The cabin is just perfect for a couples getaway. Super clean with everything you could possibly need to feel at home. The view is postcard worthy! We even got a few inches of snow as icing on the cake! We will definitely be back!

I would highly recommend this lil piece of Heaven!! The owners and manager are wonderful people!! Normally you don’t have so much contact with the owner or the manager but we had a major car problem with our new F150 and the owner was near and willing to give us a ride to the car rental! We were so blessed to visit with them! Also, the manager stopped to see how things were going! So grateful for their company! Again, i would highly recommend staying in anyone of their cabins!! We loved it!

The views from the back deck were absolutely stunning. The cabin more MORE than clean - it was immaculate. The extra touches of the folded towels etc make you feel like you are at a resort. This cabin is well cared for and lovely to stay at. Highly recommend!

Very relaxing stay. A much needed break after a family emergency brought us home to Newport the week before our stay. A very quiet spot dispute being next to the main drive. Even in late June, we were able to open the windows an allow the cool and refreshing mountain breeze to softly waif through the cabin, as it was pleasantly cool outside in the mornings. I highly recommend this cabin. The washer and dryer was a much needed surprise! We came home to Texas with clean clothes.

Was able to book this cabin for a last minute get away. It was about a 30 min drive to Gatlinburg, but it was nice to drive and see some scenery. It was also nice not being on top of all the touristy locations. Cabin was as expected, great stay.

Property manager was great. Facility is clean and well equipped. Located 20 mins from Gatlinburg the location is great. Cosby, Hartford and Newport have amazing locally owned restaurants and multiple shops and things to do. We will stay here again.

By the pics we assumed it was secluded & it wasn’t but with that being said it was very nice property, views are wonderful . 20-30 mins to either Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge where we were everyday so lot of driving . It was relaxing just will pick a different location next time

This cabin was such a find! Thank you to the owner for sharing this beautiful cabin. I'm not sure I've even walked into a VRBO rental as clean as this one. It literally looked like a brand new cabin. I couldn't fault one thing. The bed was comfortable. Despite what another reviewer said there is PLENTY of lighting, I'm not sure why that would have been even mentioned. There are ceiling fans with 4-5 light bulbs each in each of the rooms, Plenty of silverware for one or two people. They had dish washer cleaner and plenty of dish soap. The grill was spotless. There are so many windows, I loved having them all open and the cross winds coming in. I sat out on the back deck every night for hours enjoying the creek rushing below and the stunning sunsets. Its 30 mins or less from Gatlingburg, Sevierville/ Pigeon Forge. The scenery is amazing anywhere you go around the cabin. There is another cabin on the property but the deck has a privacy screen so its completely private. When I am back in the area I will be looking this place up again, it was perfect.

The listing said it has a great kitchen.. We had 4 forks, no hot pad, abdomen wine glass. There is one table in the living area. I guess you are supposed to put your drink on the floor, which is what we did. Very poor lighting. Forget reading. Patio furniture only one deck so that when it got hot we had to sit indoors on uncomfortable furniture. We didn't bring enough detergent to wash our four forks in dishwasher twice a day. Did I mention 4 forks? I think that the owner should stay there for a week and see what they are renting.. We were going to have steak, but eating it with a spoon just doesn't seem right. We bought a couple of good coffee mugs and a wine glass for them. I gave it3 stars because it was very clean and very quiet and a great location.

We had a great time at the cabin on our last trip as a married couple without kids ! And loved waking up to the gorgeous Mountain views and fresh smelling air! Plus as an extra bonus we got to be here during a snow storm!
