Great location, very central to Bridport. Had a parking space down just from the house. Pub opposite but not much noise as Winter. House was set over three floors. Everything we needed for an few nights stay. Clean and tidy, overall a lovely stay at an affordable price for the area. Clear concise information for self checkin and no noise from neighbours either side the property.
A few minor niggles. The furniture is very mismatched and dated, vibe is a quirky look mixed with charity shop but it was fine and did the job. This is obviously reflected in the price! Pillows were really big and gave me a sore neck the next morning, my own preference - so I went a brought my own pillow to use in the town. A few flatter pillows would be a great addition/option. There was also litter in the down stairs bunk room bin from New Year that had been left too, receipts etc. We did book last minute so it may have been a rush to get the property cleaned. Also upon arrival no welcome pack, milk etc that we usually receive when we stay at properties in the UK. As we arrived late all the local shops were all closed inc supermarkets, a carton of milk would have been a nice touch.

Lovely clean property superbly situated for all the amenities in Bridport.
The communication was excellent and really clear and comprehensive information about arrival, departure etc.
It was all good.

The small town of Bridport was very nice with lots of great bars and restaurants. People were very friendly and helpful. The cottage was very centrally located & only 2 mins walk from the facilities of the town. Will definitely be returning at some point.
The gulls were a bit noisy but you have to expect this when you are close to the coast!!

Great location and close to parks and the bus stop. It's a great base to explore the area. My children loved the bunk bed and had a great time. Both bathrooms were absolutely spotless.
A few areas in the kitchen and front room don't appear to get cleaned - enough to make us quite uneasy using the kitchen.

Convenient location for shops and a short walk to beach. Very comfortable, warm and good facilities.
Woken by Waitrose moving delivery trolleys around but quickly got used to it and it wasn't that often

Living Room / Kitchen on the FF is lovely as it splits the bedroom accomodation nicely for different guests.
Double Beds were very comfy and had a great night sleep. Very Clean throughout.
House fully equipped with all you needed for a long weekend break away, warm and in fully running / working order. Local milk vending machine and Waitrose on your doorstep is great for topping up supplies!
The Ropemakers is a great little unique pub nearby with some live music events on & very friendly staff.
Sundorbon Indian Restaurant in Bridport was fantastic too and highly recommend.
Local Family run butchers R J Balson & Son (near The White Hart pub) the best for value and quality / variety.
The Hope & Anchor Inn nearby can be rowdy and noisy late on a Friday and Saturday Night with locals out in their garden but this didn't really effect us sleeping as we went to bed late anyway.
A hairdryer would be handy to have in the house (apologies if there was one we didnt find it)

Very well appointed and maintained, and great location. A really nice house and we’d definitely come again
Recycling facilities, but the owners said they would recycle what they could, so not a problem.

The property was in a good location with good cheap parking around the corner. I enjoyed our stay at the house.
The bed in the top room was very uncomfortable, could do with a thick mattress topper. Other than that, all was very very good. The bottom rooms could hear the front room floor creaking but wqasnt too bad when all went to bed.

Superb location enabled us to explore Bridport, a town we have visited several times, much more than usual.
Also if you are there on a Saturday it is only a five minute walk to the local Parkrun which we joined on Christmas Day.
Nothing major, a bigger more robust door mat as the front door in the only way in and out and being winter and having a dog with us we were damp a lot of times and it would have helped keep the hallway cleaner and some instructions for the oven!

Very central yet tucked away this well appointed house is an excellent and comfortable base for a break in delightful Bridport.
Proximity to the back of Waitrose means it can be a bit noisy first thing in the morning, though the upside is that you can easily nip into the store to get a croissant for breakfast

Great place, very comfortable, with everything you need. Hosts were easily contacted and very happy to help. Bridport is just a lovely town with a variety of great countryside and coast around it.

Great house lay out.
Spacious rooms.
Convenient location to access local amenities and great days out.
Allocated parking.
All 3 nights of our stay there was a lot of noise and bad language from the local pub which was not blocked out by having the windows shut. It didn’t offend us as adults but wasn’t really something we wanted our youngest children exposed to.
Although the accommodation was clean in general, some areas of the house were not so clean.

Brilliant central location in Bridport, cut through 30 secs walk at the end of the lane next to Lilliput store takes you directly onto West street.
Only downside to this property (which is a shame) is that there is a very noisy pub garden (Hope & Anchor) at the front of the property, doubled with even more noise from the Waitrose delivery yard out back didn’t make it that relaxing . The windows are old & it would definitely be too noisy to sleep with any windows open if it is hot weather - recommend to wear earplugs to bed if staying here.

Location was perfect, very comfortable house, everything we needed was available

The place was well equipped, plenty of cutlery and crockery, furnishings were of good quality, lovely bed linen, nice touches like a radio in the master bedroom, good TV/Netflix setup and decent WiFi/Internet, and of course the place was clean and generally well organized, they even had aplenty of dishwasher tablets. These hosts know how to set up accommodation for a lovely stay.
The sound insulation between floors was not great, so people moving around in the lounge would disturb people sleeping. I found the bed in the master bedroom uncomfortable. Please add a few more teaspoons for guests who drink lots of tea :)

Great location for a busy weekend in Bridport. Easy parking
Worth closing windows at the rear of the property at night as the Waitrose delivery drivers start early in the morning and it can be a bit noisy
9.0 / 10.0
Great location easy access to Town and surrounding Countryside
