it was very quiet and clean and comfortable. 5 min walk to centre and right next to old quarter with good cafes , restaurant and bakery
I could not figure out how to keep the bathroom blasting on in the night when i was wanting to stay in darkness.

My room was spacious and very clean. Had everything I needed! I was close to the elevator however never heard it. I was pleased with the price and how close to town it was.
I would highly recommend this hotel!
I did not eat breakfast…but there was fresh coffee in the lobby!

Location was central enough to other places within the city such that everything was a short drive away. Few shops close enough for walking distance, but seems to be preferable that a car is present.
Room was not cleaned once when staying 3 days despite staff being on the same floor and a couple doors away from the room. "Do Not Disturb" sign was not present on the door. No included breakfast and instead is available through a separate restaurant.

Nothing, all was great!

The space was roomy. The shower was nice, the mattress was good.
location is perfect if your walking around Nanaimo.
Lots of food delivery options.
Tv was good but there was a limit on the sound level.
The heater would make loud noises when turning on, and would turn off after a short time. A then turn back on again within 5 minutes with very loud noises. The TV has a sound level limit, so you cant even hear the tv when the heater turns on. I eventually turned the heater off for the entire night.
The bed sheets are 100 % polyester. Which are starchy and uncomfortable and created a sweaty sleep, even with the heat off!
I slept in my clothes to avoid that disgusting feeling.
The sensor on the light in the bathroom does not have aturn off switch. the light would blare on in the middle of the night and stay on for a few minutes after i was back in bed. They even had a night light plugged in!! I had to cover up the sensor so the light wouldn't turn on.

Nice, sparkling clean, modern hotel in Nanaimo’s historic Old City Quarter shopping area and a short walk to more amenities downtown. Great restaurant in the hotel (The Breakfast Nook) and close to several other nice restaurants (White Rabbit, Black Rabbit and Le Brunch Cafe).
The mostly white and grey rooms are clean and modern but slightly spartan. Some additional accessories to warm things up might be nice.

Really good and exactly as ordered
There was a leak in the parking lot directly on to our car but we just changed spots,?

Location was convenient, area was a little soso, we were advised not to walk after dark. That was a little worrisome. Location was very convenient to restaurants, shops and area we were there for.

The room was very comfortable and clean, so was the bathroom. I appreciated the seat for people with disabilities in the bathtub even though I didn't need it. This doesn't go unnoticed.
The Inn is a bit further from downtown Nanaimo so it's very quiet, no noise at night.
The breakfast was massive: the 2 pancakes I ordered were huge, had to take one to go.
The A/C was on when I checked-in and was blowing at 63°F (17°C), which felt really cold coming from 30°C outside (even in the corridors). That wasn't necessary to put it that low.
The coffee machine in the room is supposed to allow people to get hot water for tea as well... but because it's a coffee machine, there was a coffee taste in my tea and I hate coffee... Would prefer to have a kettle instead.

The hotel was clean and nice enough to stay in. The The privately owned restaurant in the lobby The Breakfast Nook was fantastic! Great food, great service and very pleasant atmosphere!!
The location of the hotel did not always seem to be a safe area especially at night. Although the underground parking helped with that concern.
