Location
The place looked run down. Great location but needs some major Reno’s. Hallways felt like a jail.

it’s a strange blend between nice and old-rundown. the view was wonderful.
waited for ages to check in, some guy that wasn’t even working checked us in when he stopped by to park his car. the tv didn’t work and we had to go find the guy who was sitting outside playing on his phone. he said he’d come help us and we watched from our balcony while he sat playing on his phone in his car for ages. never did come get the tv to work.

Property could be amazing with some renovations

Our stay was very peaceful and quiet, and the staff were always kind and accommodating. Everyone was great with my dog, patient with me throughout my bank issues, and also allowed me to use their laundry facilities still after checking in late.
I asked for more coffee and i think the receptionist forgot to pass on my request to the caretaker..

The location is amazing, right at the start of the Great Trail to downtown.
The rooms were dirty. I was put in 3 before I gave up and just dealt with it. I swept two of the rooms myself, I was told to wait for housekeeping but none came.

Staff were friendly. The south east asian young man gave me the space heater from the office. Hopefully he didn't freeze the rest of the night in the lobby.
Freezing cold hallways. Cold rooms. Icy floors. Mediocre hot water. Element burnt out on the stove. We about 12° at first near 4pm. Left the heat on went out for dinner and the place is maybe 17° at 7 pm now finally with that space heater we got up to about 19 or 20 by midnight a balmy 21 withchilly floors by 8am.
We asked to switch rooms but were told we couldn't but the place looked pretty empty. Was just told two of the other suites heat was broken because they're old 🥴😎🤯😓

Was clean, quiet, and staff was friendly
2.0 / 5.0
The staff were friendly and it was nice to have the sea view (even if the parking lot is in between the hotel and the water).
The whole building (lobby and halls) smelled terrible, old and musty. Thankfully the room itself smelled a bit better. The tap in the kitchenette dripped all night long, and while it was generally clean, it all felt old and definitely needs improvements. The beds were decent but overall the quality of the room did not match the price we paid.

There was no breakfast offered
Place was dirty. We had to ask for 2 sets of towels only one set when we came into the room.
Patio was in poor repair and the lighting in the room was poor.
Air conditioning only worked for part of the evening.

Quiet clean room
The elevator shook and vibrated like it was going to break. The air conditioner in the room was broken. The hotel was very modest to be charging $200 per room
