Friendly staff. Pet friendly.
Little ran down but can’t complain for the price.

The staff were really nice . We didn't req there assistance on our stay . The room was tidy .
We picked the hotel with most reviews being positive .
The pictures on here are old dated photos .
The room had stains on the carpet and bed covers ( one bed bottom sheet had what looked like mustard on it ) we didn't use that bed .
When you lay on the bed you can hear the springs pop and awakened with a sore back .
The bathroom could of req a little more detail in cleaning . And the Celing was quite dirty and had hair on it .
The walls are really thin and the main road is quite busy day & night. You here every noise .(not the motels fault) but something to consider if your wanting to sleep at night .
It really could do with being renovated.

Very dirty room, stains on the bedding and shower curtain, clearly was not cleaned before us.

I was tired but all was comfortable.
Coffee machine didn’t work, but too late to ask for help.

Comfy room with all the basics
Nothing. Basic motel for a short stay

It was close to the downtown. It was easy to find.
The rugs were stained. The street had a lot of loud traffic.

I felt safe.
Old, rusty fixtures in bathroom.

our suite was an old house, painted up and with some new appliances. but no phone, no toilet brush, no key drop (and no facility of leaving the key locked inside). office doesn’t open before 9am)
Other than check in person we saw no sign of staff.

Convenient location. A plus that their was a restaurant next door with good food and prices.

My girlfriend and I came to Nanaimo for a night for my birthday, shopping and Casino.
Front desk girl was very friendly. Just a basic room but very comfortable, quiet and clean. Would recommend great room for the price.
Couldn't get the coffee pot to stay on and heat up.

Very clean and very friendly and helpful staff. I stayed in room 127 which had been remodeled in a really tasteful way, with lots of wood accents. It feels like a little cabin. Everything was spotless. The front desk was very kind and accommodating. I would definitely return!
It's an older building, so you do hear other people, either walking by or in their room watching tv. However it's reasonable in terms of noise and I haven't been bothered by it at all.

Hotel are nice and in good location. Restaurant, convenience store and other store just nearby. The staff are hospitable and provide what we need.

Bed was comfortable and room clean, nice to have a microwave and small fridge and wifi and parking included in the price.
I would suggest adding a couple of bars on the walls around the bathtub for safety and room 104 needs to have a power bar so you can have the fridge, coffee maker and microwave all plugged in at the same time.

I stayed in a separate building outside the motel, a sort of fourplex. It was HUGE, very clean. The bed was very comfortable. It was much more room than I needed and I wish i could have stayed longer to enjoy it! The staff--Alan--was lovely and helpful.

the doors look really insecure and they release the cold air hugely

Service was really friendly and helpful. The room is basic but it's clean and cheap!
The location was a little bad. A lot of junkies in the area. And bring earbuds as it's on a main road and you may get woken in the early morning hours.
4.0
The motel is in close proximity to the centre of the city. It is also near the Departure Bay ferry terminal.
The plumbing in the shower was old and falling apart. The tile had some signs of mouldy silicone sealant. The towel bar was too short to hold two bath towels. The rim of the toilet was soiled. There were burnt out light bulbs above the vanity. The seating in the room was not comfortable. The mattress was sinking in the middle. There was no recycling bin for paper, plastics, and aluminium cans in the room.

Owner and front desk are super nice and good, house keeping was amazing good value

The location for our needs and the price were good.
After reading my dislikes, you may wonder if we would stay here again. We would, but will ask for Room 106.
We had stayed here before in Room 106. It was a good room. This time we asked for a second-floor room, We were assigned Room 218.
We found the room dirty in that there were stains on the wall in the bathroom and main room.
The microwave was dirty with spills and the glass plate was not the right one for the microwave so there was a lot of banging when it was used.
There were stains and holes in the bedcover.
The bathroom floor was sticky when we walked on it with our slippers.
One of the chairs had a splattering of dirt.
