Breakfast, historic integrity of the house, wine hour, the two bedroom suite option was great for our family of 4
The king size bed on the third floor is beyond firm - not a comfortable mattress! Goodness! The sitting area furniture is also not comfortable or good for gathering.

Very clean and pleasant staff. Nice breakfast with impressive service.
Room was very clean but with bad knees the shower was nearly impossible to access.

The breakfast was wonderful and the dinning setting was wonderful. It was the first time that my brother and his wife stayed at a Bed and Breakfast and they loved it. I would come back.

House was beautiful, could do with a bit of maintenance
Initial reception not very welcoming. Room, cramped. Only very small gap between bed and fireplace mantle, very easy to bang against mantle and trip over fire guard. Nowhere to put towels near sink. Bed very uncomfortable. Bathroom exceptionally small as wet room with very small shower. Trip hazard getting into and out of bathroom. No fresh milk to go with tea, only half and half. First course of breakfast, muesli and fresh fruit spoilt with large lump of cream in middle. Second course very spicy with over cooked fried egg, did offer alternative, by that time far from happy. No fruit juice.

Our room was beautiful. The shower was very good. There were only two minor issues for correction. The curtain hanging on the door with a rod fell down at least once. And down comforter does not fit properly inside the duvet cover, which was pretty annoying. The breakfast was amazing. Your chef is outstanding. We loved the front porch and general every morning.
Duvet cover
Maybe shades that pull down on glass doors?

wonderful character to the building, staff was very nice. second morning we sat at the big, common table for breakfast and really enjoyed the conversation
the bed was just a little scooped out for me. my back prefers a firmer bed. we’d go back, though.

The house was wonderful. Very cool to walk around and see the detail that was put in it when the built the house. Breakfast every morning was top notch along with the staff.
Everything was great! Nothing I did not like.

Breakfast was delicious!
Nice presentation
We stayed a cottage 10, this first night our room was very warm.
The second night the temperature was comfortable.
The shower was in the main part of the room and smelled a little musty.

The house itself was beautiful, as were the grounds. The breakfasts were tasty and varied.
It was not clear at the time of booking that I would not be staying in the "historic house" but in a "cottage" separate from the main house. The cottage was cramped. only one upholstered chair in the room, and one could barely walk around that without out bumping into the bed. The bathroom was extremely tiny, and the exhaust fan way too loud. There is no control over the temperature in the room as that is controlled by someone in another room. The doors open into the room, again. limiting space. One could not close the drapes when exiting the room, so it was open to view by anyone passing by. There was one suitcase stand for the old fashioned style suitcase (one that opens from the top, whereas most suitcases today open side-to-side), and no place to open a second one. The king size bed encompassed the entire room. leaving no room to walk around except one at a time or else we'd bump into each other.
