A convenient location , a close by parking spot, local popular breakfast spot across the street, nice bedrooms for our family but kitchen is small though. Recommend Portland tour by antique fire truck.

Everything was absolutely lovely at Kingsley’s place! Check-in was seamless and easy and our stay was fun and relaxing. Though the living room was not child-proofed, some quick rearranging when we checked in meant that all 3 of our toddlers were happy and playing comfortably and safely throughout our stay!

Location worked well for us - quick walk to coffee/donuts. Also walkable to the Old Port area with shopping and restaurants. Highly recommend Fort Williams and Cape Elizabeth if you’re not familiar with the area. Kingsley was responsive in getting us check in info and the place was clean!

Very clean space! We loved the location. Try Tandem right across the street for morning coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and baked goods. A 15-20 min walk to all the great stuff in Old Portland. An easy drive beautiful S. Portland. Host was great! Would love to stay again

Kingsley was a great and very communicative host. Super convenient location and 2 parking spaces definitely a plus. Place was very warm upon arrival but did cool off, bathrooms very nicely renovated. We rented this unit and the upstairs unit as we had a larger group and that worked great for us. Would stay again

This apartment was great for our group of 8. The place had a spacious common area and good size rooms. The kitchen was a little bare in terms of supplies but it wasn’t a huge deal. It was also a great location, walking distance to many attractions or very short drives. Host was very gracious and communicative. Would stay again!

The place was clean and comfortable, linens and towels were luxe, beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed in the kitchen (except perhaps a toaster). We had a lovely three day stay and walked all over Portland. Kingsley was very responsive to any questions, and when we had trouble logging into Sling TV he came over to handle it for us. No excessive noise in the neighborhood and there’s a wonderful Italian restaurant right next door. Great spot!

Had a lovely stay and it worked beautifully for a wedding we were attending in Portland - close to shops, restaurants and sites. Excellent parking and it was well appointed!

The unit was as advertised, and very clean. Easy to walk to Old Port, East End, Munjoy Hill, etc. We ate at the Italian restaurant next door (very good), and had coffee at Tandem most mornings. A little neighborhood noise (construction vehicles, etc.), but that's to be expected in a downtown location. I would stay here again; Kingsley was an excellent host.

Good accommodation for 6 adults, great towels. Could do with some more places to hang towels. A wardrobe is needed in the room wit 2 beds in it. Happy with the stay. No one staying liked the cups.

this was in the perfect location, close to downtown and the waterfront. Very nice three bedroom, two bathroom place. As mentioned before, while it is close to a fire station and next to a speakeasy, we didn't notice alot of noise at night. I would stay here again for our next Portland visit.

All was great. Within walking distance to everything. The unit was comfortable
and had some personality. Kingsley ( property mgr) was on top of everything . Given this is a city location you hear the buzz of the city, which we enjoyed.

We had a multigenerational family group traveling for a wedding near Portland and couldn't be happier with the accommodations. Wonderful mattresses.
Lots to do in walking distance. Charming Italian restaurant next door...we ate there twice. Kingsley was super helpful

Quirky but conveniently located, quiet place
Great location within walking distance of West End and Old Port. Modern decor within an 1800's brick mansion. Quiet despite being near the fire station-there were no night sirens in the three nights we stayed there. Spacious. Additional free parking is available on Mellen St. Tandem Coffee and Rosemont Market in the neighborhood are great. Super quaint speakeasy next door.

Great location to stay in Portland, Maine
We had an excellent trip to Portland, Maine in mid-September for a family wedding.
The experience was enhanced by the VRBO properties we stayed in – two apartments both owned by the same host – Kingsley, on the second and third floors of a building, very well situated in Portland’s West End area. The apartments were spacious, clean and comfortable and ample parking was provided.
This apartment on the second floor was very well laid out and extremely comfortable and became the common area for our families in the two apartments.
We gave a 4-star to the check in process, only because of the uncertainty of the same. Our host though did email us when we enquired about the same, that he would send us the details on the morning of our start date - unfortunately we received details of this process during our flights to Portland.
Other than the above, our entire experience at the apartments was excellent.
A positive, helpful host is always a big boon when staying away from home at rented properties. Kingsley was the epitome of a good host! He was very attentive to our needs. Thank you Kingsley.
We have no hesitation in recommending this place.

Perfect place to experience Portland
We leased the place to bring family for a law school graduation. The historic location was combined with a remodeled apartment with modern amenities. It worked well for us and the owners were accommodating. It is a short walk to downtown or the park. It was very nice to have parking available.

Short but great stay
We booked this rental property for a short stay in Portland. We were visiting Portland for 3 nights as we were attending my daughters College graduation. The apartment is conveniently located on Congress with parking. It is walking distance to the old port and many other places. It was safe, clean and very comfortable for such a big group as there were 7 of us visiting. The host was very helpful and super friendly. They were very responsive and communicated very well. I would definitely return if I am in Portland again.
