My son and I spent a week in Annie’s Penthouse unit with our English Bulldog for the Northstar round of the California Enduro Series. This is our second time in this property. Annie is always great at communication and doing her best to meet our needs. The condo is comfortable and we appreciate that it has an air conditioning unit. My only complaint would be the elevator was not operating on the morning of checkout making lugging all our luggage, bikes, tools and gear down the stairs quite the workout. This did cause to checkout a bit late, but as usual Annie was understanding.

We had an amazing last minute stay in Northstar thanks to Annie! The accommodations exceeded our expectations with immediate access to the village, the lifts, mtb’ing, and hiking. The unit’s location couldn’t be better. It is pet/family friendly and had everything we needed and more. Thank you so much for accommodating our family on short notice and making our stay one of the best we’ve had in the area. We look forward to returning soon.

We stayed at Annie’s place for 3 nights and the location was amazing! So close to all the amenities and this adorable cafe across the way that is stocked with really curated goods not like a typical mini shop. Annie was so accommodating and extremely responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Place was as advertised. Was large enough to be enjoyable for our family of 3 and little dog. Two queen beds upstairs. Had an ac unit upstairs to cool it off. It is right in the mix of the Village, which is what we wanted. With the balcony slider open you could feel the energy of the village. Short walk to the rec center that had multiple pools, hot tubs, a nice gym to get a workout and an arcade. Short walk to the gondolas to get some mountain biking action. 10-15 min drive to kings beach. Solid spot for a summer get away from the heat in Valley.

The loft was clean and easy to get to. Although it’s on the third floor, there is an elevator and a close designated parking spot. The double beds and the kitchen appliances especially worked out perfectly for my family’s stay. We had bluebird skiing and were able to chill on the balcony in the afternoon with perfect sunny weather. We loved that we were so close to the gondola and lifts.
The best thing about this unit is the communication with Annie. She is timely and clear with her responses. This was a last minute trip for us, and she was quick to help with anything we needed on the booking end. It was nice to message with someone on the other side that was human and not “bot-like”. We would book again in a heartbeat.

Our family of 4 plus one fur baby had a very pleasant stay at Annie's condo right in the heart of Northstar Village. Everything we needed was a stone's throw away: the nearby rec center with gym, heated pool, sauna and hot tub (even a surprisingly large modern arcade room) was a plus; the ski school and lift located right next door was perfect for my son to learn to ski, my daughter could roam the shops and eateries, and take the gondola to the Ritz for smores, but unfortunately the skating rink was closed which she was looking forward to using. Kings Beach is a short drive away which makes a great day trip to picnic and hike around the lake. We stayed for 4 nights and didn't get to do everything we would have liked. Definitely will book Annie's comfortable place again! She is very responsive and communicative.

Property was accurate to the listing. Very convenient to all things in the village and gondola. Parking and hauling your luggage and skis up is not the most convenient, but is similar to a hotel.

We very much enjoyed our ski vacation at Northstar. The condo was super clean, well-appointed (plenty of towels, kitchen wares, etc) and comfy beds. Communication with the property manager was prompt and very helpful. We look forward to coming again.

This property was just perfect for a long-weekend skiing getaway. The unit was super clean and well presented. The location is very convenient to everything in Northstar Village, including easy access to the ski school, ticket office, and lifts. The unit comes with a dedicated covered parking spot that has easy access to the elevators and the unit.
The unit was very quiet — we never heard anyone else — with a cute porch to enjoy the sun and a snack after a day of skiing. The linens and towels were soft, the beds were comfy, and it had a very nice pull-out couch. We cooked breakfast in the unit each day and found everything we needed, including pans and utensils.
We had excellent communication with Annie, both prior to arriving and during our stay. She was able to accommodate a few special requests, which we greatly appreciated.
We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back in the future!

We had a lovely stay at Northstar this past week. The proximity to the lifts, ice skating, coffee in the am (walk downstairs and you're at a well curated coffee shop with gifts, groceries, all the things you'd need for your stay), dinner at Rubicon Pizza, it was so convenient with littles. It was exactly what we needed for our trip. The host got back to me within minutes anytime I had a question. Highly recommend.

The hosts were super responsive to messages/questions during our stay. The size of the condo was bigger than I expected and it was comfortable for my family of 4. Super convenient location, the covered parking spot made for easy unloading/loading of our ski gear too.

This is our family’s (2 adults, 2 kids, 1 dog) second time staying at this property and we would absolutely stay again. Wonderful location and one of very few places in the village where our family dog can join us. Anne is a very responsive host and the check in and out process is very easy and straightforward.

My family and I enjoyed staying at Annie’s Condo in the village at Northstar. I really appreciated how clean the condo was and that it was well equipped with up to date appliances. Having an air conditioning unit with a ceiling fan in the loft was perfect at night, since we were there during hot summer weather. The beds were all comfortable including the the pull out couch which was large. The location is ideal, you are steps away from shops, restaurants, a movie theater and a nice market, with everything from gifts to groceries. We were happy to be able to bring our small well behaved dog as well, I found places to walk him around the property.

Cozy spot place in the middle of Northstar village. Comes with access to awesome Rec Center with multiple pools… main pool is better than than Ritz up the mountain.

The cabin was very spacious, comfortable and well stocked. Wonderful location in the village! Short walk to the gondola, quiet even with bands playing up above at the ice rink and Copperlane market is just an elevator ride away. The best part of the rental is that they are dog friendly. We cannot wait to stay here next season!

Booked this last minute and we were both more than pleased! Excellent location for skiing; very clean; clear communication for checkin/out; very responsive to my questions. We are not new to VRBO; other locations we have stayed at purported to be "clean" and were only surface clean but down-right dirty. This rental was VERY clean top to bottom- no grime anywhere. The kitchen was amply filled with every utensil you could want/need, the appliances were fairly new and clean, and the linens were brilliantly white and crisp! Highly recommend this locale. My only *suggestion* would be to update the shower function..... wasn't the strongest of water flow but such a minor flaw in the overall experience. (The owners indicated they already have plans for an update.)

My family stayed two times this season. The cabin is within quick walking distance from the gondola, very clean, and well-maintained. Annie was super accessible and quick to respond to my questions. We would stay here again!

Third floor timber creek lofts are a cozy way to stay in the village. This place had a nice gas fire, comfortable beds and an updated kitchen. Annie was responsive and reliable with communication - we got the code for the lock as promised the morning of our stay. Generally the experience exceeded my expectations. The parking worked out great and the Northstar homeowners pool / rec center was a pleasure to use. The pull out couch was broken but Annie told us that they would be replacing it. It’s small for a family of 4 but totally doable. If you cook a lot at home you will need to bring salt, cooking oil, and condiments - none was provided in the kitchen.

Location was excellent. Anne was quick in responding and communicating. Being pet friendly was a big plus. The only thing we didn't like was that there was not a top sheet between the duvet. The duvets felt scratchy . Anne did explain that they were changed between each visit. We would be happy to stay here again and just bring our own top sheets. We would recommend this unit and working with Anne.

Place could not be better situated. Directly across from Copper Lane, a stone's throw to ski/boot rentals, Starbucks, ice rink. Nice to have a dedicated parking spot right downstairs. Condo itself is nice and cozy, perfect for our family of three (plus dog).

We loved the place! It's in a nice central location, close to everything (food, shops, lift lines) on the mountain and the deck is a great place to hang out and enjoy the mountain air. The communication with the host was excellent. We'd definitely stay here again.

My son and I stayed in the Timber Creek Lodge Penthouse to spend the week mountain biking to celebrate my 11th cancerversary and his 15th birthday. Annie was great with communicating leading up to and throughout the trip. She even left a nice birthday card for my son for us to find on our arrival. The unit is very comfortable and well appointed. Everything worked great. The NPOA rec center/pool area is a nice addition. The local riding is always good! I would not hesitate to stay here again.

As advertised with stairs
We had a great time in the village during the 'wacky' summertime. It's relatively deserted compared to ski season and 100% of the restaurants/businesses have some sort of issues. Our best dinner was free from Bourbon Pub, a brand new Michael Mina restaurant. I placed our to go order and when I got there, I was told that what I ordered was off an 'old menu' and none of my order was available (the guy said he didn't know as it was his second day on the job)...but, the manager comp'd my selection of truffle mac/cheese and pub chili, that I thought was better than our more costly Manzanita (Ritz) dinner, and we had better wine (own) on the condo deck.
All aspects of the condo were as presented and Annie is indeed a super responsive host. We would not stay again because we didn't care for the loft bedroom without a bathroom, however, that was quite clear before we booked the place from the photos. Our poodle, Madeline, found the stairs good exercise and fun. I'd also suggest more instances of the combination door lock procedure since it's non standard and you usually arrive with a full load and a phone in hand.

Perfect spot
We had a blast. We could find activities for our two kids, enjoyed walks in the forest with our English Sheep Dog and had a nice cocktail listening to live music. The room were spotless and well equipped so we could recharge every evening. We will definitely be back :)

Awesome location and property manager!
This location was amazing! So easy and convenient to get to with all the amenities you need including an elevator + luggage carts! This location allowed my dog and I to meet my husband and daughter in the village easily after their day of Skiing/Snowboarding. Not to mention the great communication with the property manager, Annie was very responsive to any questions we had! Would definitely recommend and stay here again!
