My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this lake house. The location was great and the views very beautiful. It was a great place to get away.
To be completely honest we thought the bed (downstairs bedroom) and the futon in the family room were pretty uncomfortable. It is a great place to stay if you are planning to be out of the house for most of your trip, but I wouldn't recommend it if you plan to be hanging at the house most of the time.

The house location is amazing, but it was not clean (mold) and one of the kayaks had a big hole so be sure to check before going on the water. If they were more responsive about the issues, I would have given a better rating because the location and the view were 100%.

Loved our getaway to this darling cabin. Everything we needed to enjoy the lake and relax after exploring ONP hiking the high divide and Seven Lakes Basin. Just 50 minutes to the Sol Duc trailhead, this cabin has both a great location and comfortable beds, amenities and the lake for relaxing post-hike. Would love to go back!

If you are looking for a charming, romantic, and rustic yet clean with everything in proper working order, this is the place! Our whole family was so in love with this space. The fact that it is one row up from the water actually made it feel more private and remote. Busiest summer season and hardly anyone walking by the area as they all go straight down to the dock. Which was easy enough for us to carry kayaks down with our 10 y.o. no stress. Plus the bonus feature of the rushing creek behind thag drowned out the noise of motorized watercraft. Beautiful, peaceful, everything worked properly. Clean!! Fast hot water with good water pressure. If you want to give your family that awesome experience of days at the lake "when you were a kid" this is the place!!! Games in the house, kayaks, life jackets, grill, fire ring, fishing gear...a TV with awesome DVD collection but u probably won't need it! All the necessary amenities for cooking a family dinner. Perfect halfway distance btw Port Angeles/Hurricane Ride and Lake Crescent area hiking for those on an NP Adventure. Love! Our family was visiting from Hawaii but yall got true paradise here on Lake Sutherland!

My only concern booking this property was that it might be a bit cramped. This was not the case at all. Plenty of room for the four of us. Nice open kitchen, dining room, living room area with a comfortable couch. Lovely furnishings. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare coffee and a few simple meals. Views of the lake are spectacular and proximity to ONP can't be beat. Previously I had booked at the Lake Crescent Lodge but this is an upgrade in every sense and much more private.

This is a nice basic cabin in a lovely location. Minor issues like spots in the ceiling of the shower, and a keurig but no coffee pods. It had two other coffee makers and a small bag of regular coffee, but no decaf and no cream or sugar.

Very beautiful, clean, and well-appointed place. The lake is gorgeous and having access to the shared dock and kayaks is really nice (as were the fishing poles). Not having a washer/dryer or dishwasher is my only complaint, but all in all we had a very lovely time.

Quaint cabin with a nice view of the lake. Tiny kitchen but it had everything we needed. Kids loved the loft bedroom. TV with DVD player. A few games and puzzles. 3 kayaks and life jackets in all sizes. Queen bed was very comfortable after a day of hiking.

Let me start with… Beautiful view!
However, home was not cleaned well, toilet not operational when we arrived, blankets not laundered, stained sheets, screen to outside ripped, stove filthy. Texted Vacasa to fix toilet issue. Got run around . Toilet not fixed until end of day 2 of our stay. Water pressure poor . Having 4 adults stay in this home is ridiculous. Only one queen bed and a tiny futon. Another bed in loft which had a sketchy ladder going to it. Loft not clean. Will think twice when booking a Vacasa home! This cabin has a lot of potential if cleaned and maintained properly.

In general the location was perfect for us. There was a minor problem of ants in the cabin, especially in the kitchen area. Also spider web above the stove area. The cabin was warm enough. I wish the cleaning was better .

It’s small and comfortable. The bed in the main room is very loud when you move on it. It was loud enough to wake my husband and baby when simply rolling on to my side. There maybe some rodent issues happening right now there as well. The lake access was our main reason for this selection and other than a weird lady there following us around one of the days it was fine. We had a lot of fun on the lake. The ceiling fan in the house doesn’t work so the house was very hot for our stay.

The perfect vacation. Was peaceful quite and very cozy. Definitely what we where looking for. Only two bad thing one the trash can was full when we got there. We had to leave our trash out the can. Two we couldn’t fine the washers like it states is has them. Other the. That perfect cozy home.

Location is great for visiting the park. Enjoyed watching stars at night from the deck. Cozy and simple. The place could use a few dollars thrown at it in terms of kitchen supplies, upgrades on the towels, and the bed creaks comically loud. But overall it was a great base for our visit to the national park.

Unfortunately I found the property to not have been cleaned very well- visible pet fur on the floor, dirty towels in the clean folded towel stack in the bathroom, and not as pictured- bathroom not pictured in the listing and it was not very nice in quality and cleanliness. Bed was so squeaky we couldn't turn over in the night without waking up constantly. Property management reached out to me when I got there asking if it was clean and why I said no, they said they could send someone out to clean it but I felt like that would have been a big inconvenience for us. Ultimately, just kind of disappointed considering it was also expensive, I would have expected a better experience without having to go out of my way to let a cleaner interrupt our stay.

Great location and the view is lovely! Really enjoyed the deck and fire pit! Kayaks are a bonus. Neighbors were friendly and enjoyed conversations with them. The bed downstairs does squeak every time you move. The kitchen pans could use an upgrade. Overall, would stay there again.

My family and I really enjoyed our vacation here. The cabin has huge windows so you have awesome views of the lake from almost anywhere inside the cabin. We love being able to sit out on the deck in the mornings and enjoy our coffee and roast hotdogs and marshmallows at the fire pit at night. It was a super short walk to the shared dock which made it easy for us to bring our stuff down to the lake so we could swim, take the canoes out on water or just relax and lay out in the sun. There’s a Safeway about 15 minutes away in town which made it easy for us to buy groceries and prepare our own food at the cabin. Night time was super peaceful and relaxing as activities quieted down on the lake, you could hear the waterfall in the distance. Super awesome vacation and we’re already planing our trip for next summer!

Very comfortable beds. Great view of the water. Loved the sound of the rushing waterfall behind the cabin. Close to many great trails in Olympic, and close to dinner options in Port Angeles. Granny's is 5 minutes away and a must for breakfast!

Nice older cabin. I tried to contact the property manager about a washer and dryer but they never responded. Information in cabin was very generic not specific to where we were stayin. Nice grill.

Overall, a very nice little cabin. The water pressure is lacking and it’s not overly clean, windows have cobwebs in them and the gutter needs cleaned badly. The loft is a bit of a climb to get up to. It’s nice having the kitchen and full size fridge. Would be nice if you could use the wood stove, it has a large sign that states “ Do Not Use” this was not in the description pictures.
Overall happy with the stay, the views of lake are definitely nice, very peaceful location.

Gorgeous View
This small home is all you need to enjoy your stay in Lake Sutherland. Bath towels, guest toiletries and kitchen supplies were provided. Bring a firestick or your own DVDs. The selection of DVDs provided is small. You cannot beat the location and view. I highly recommend.

It was very homey! We instantly found our little cubby spots and spent the weekend RELAXING! Went in to Port Angelos and got coffee on a gorgeous Sunday! I would go back, for sure!

Needs cleaning.
They've basically put a queen mattress in the attic. They don't seem to clean the attic at all. There was dust all over the attic and spider nets. If someone has dust allergy, it's impossible to sleep in there. Other than that the cabin was really pretty and a nice stay.

Needs a bit of love but overall great
The cabin is very cute and unique, but the bed frame was way too squeaky. Not the cleanest place I’ve been to, but the house itself is older so if you’re looking for hotel-level cleanliness this isn’t for you. The view is fantastic and the heater works really well!

Beautiful view
We loved the view and going down to the dock. Even got one of the kayaks in the water. Some small upgrades and more cleaning and it would have been better. Pretty rustic. We had 4 people staying but only 3 towels were left. No towels available for getting in the lake. No where to put luggage.

We’ve stayed in better
We have stayed in quite a few VRBO rentals, but have not spent as much as we did for this one. I have to say that we were very disappointed. The picture of the site only closely resembles the place. There was still trash in the receptacle. There were cobwebs present. There was a used k-cup in the coffee maker. There is mold on the bathroom ceiling and the place had a musty aroma. Not what we have come to expect, especially for the amount charged.
