What a great house!! There was lots of room for the four couples staying at this house. We each had our own space. It’s an older house but well kept. Although it is technically within walking distance to Main Street, it’s two long blocks up and then you’re at the very end of Main St. We ended up driving and parking and then walking as one couple has some mobility issues. No negatives to report. Side note, one of the bathrooms is a tub only so if you only shower then pick a diff room!! We would def go back.

We stayed here for a bachelorette weekend to celebrate my best friend getting married. The house was plenty spacious for the 12 of us and it was such a neat layout! The house is decorated in such a charming manor, all of the ladies loved it! Being an older home, the floors do creak a little at night, but it was nothing too loud or major. The a/c worked wonderfully, there was an ice maker, fully stocked kitchen, laundry, and tons of things like bags, trash bags, even extra toiletries. The house is very clean and obviously well-cared for. I highly recommend this house if you have a big group. It is super close to town and was an easy walk to the wine shuttle.

Check in was flawless! It’s a very cute house in a perfect location. We were able to walk to our dinner reservation at the steakhouse downtown. We could walk everywhere downtown and that so convenient. The house was very much like the photos. The kitchen was filled with all the things that we needed. The only thing I think they could improve on is the cleanliness. In the basic areas of the house it is clean. But they need to wipe down the walls, baseboards and corners, as there is a lot of grime and dust bunnies. We enjoyed our stay there.

We had the most fun! This was our annual mom’s trip and this house was absolutely perfect. Very clean. Has everything you need. And very spacious. Thank you!

The home was clean and very comfortable. The location was so close to the main shopping area that it made the trip so nice. There was s minor problem that was taken care of quickly with no hassle.

We had a group of 4 adult couples and fit perfectly in the property. Great location for easy access to Main Street plus a wonderful cafe within walking distance. Recommend!

Great location to Main Street. The house was a good size for our family to stay for the Christmas Parade weekend.

This property is perfect! Seven of us had a girlfriends' weekend in Fredericksburg and could not have stayed at at better home. It was easily accessed, was very clean, is the perfect location (just a few blocks from downtown but in a lovely, quiet neighborhood), and is very roomy. Though not listed in the details, there is a traditional coffee pot, for which we were so grateful. We want to make this an annual trip and will absolutely return. I want to return with my siblings and their spouses as well. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

We had a girl's trip planned and looked for the place that would give us enough space to spread out. We found it in the Cottage. This place was wonderful! there ended up being 8 of us and between enough sleeping areas and bathrooms this was the perfect place. Within walking distance to town and in a place where it is very quiet. Would highly recommend!

We enjoyed this house with plenty of room for 8 and a walk to main. The house is comfortable and interesting. Plenty of personal space and a nice front porch. The street has very little traffic so a very quiet corner of Fredericksburg

My friends and I hd the privelege of staing at this cottage for a girl's weekend and had an absolute blast. The booking and check-in process was smooth and easy, and the cottage was the perfect size and fit for us. We absolutely loved all the decor, and found everything to be well kept up and clean. I'd love to stay here again if I come back in the future!

This place is absolutely wonderful. Everything thing about it was perfect for a group of 8. Enough space for all. Well stocked kitchen. Location was perfect. Quiet yet close enough to walk to Main Street. Highly recommend. Will be back.

My friends and I had the incredible opportunity to stay at this location for a girls wine-tasting weekend. It was the perfect spot, centrally located, and absolutely adorable. Plenty of space as well! Would highly recommend.

We ended up with only 4 staying so it was very comfortable for us. We didn't even use the separate quarters. The main house has the master upstairs with a sitting room and an exterior door. The bathroom is a little awkward for sharing but does have plenty of light and a nice counter with a big mirror. We did not use the big bathtub (no shower) Our sons stayed downstairs - both queen rooms with nice attached bathrooms. The kitchen had a big table we played games at. We did not cook since there are so many places within walking distance. (not much breakfast choice tho - but we did walk to the one eat-in breakfast place we could find). HEB is walking distance too. The family room was very comfortable - one son took over the big chair/ottoman saying it was the most comfortable chair he'd ever been in. Mostly we loved the big porch. So nice to sit out there at any time. Very quiet neighborhood. The separate quarters are a sitting area down and a queen bed upstairs. There is a little kitchenette too. And despite what this listing says, I think we found 3 drip coffee makers throughout the house. The kitchen had a big container of ground coffee too. My 18 year old got a kick out of the working rotary phones. I tried to find some history on the home but couldn't - has to be 100 yrs old. I enjoy it when the owners have some historical information at homes like this. There were many antique items which really made you feel like you'd gone back in time. We'll definitely stay there again!

Stayed here for a girls weekend/birthday celebration. The house could not have been more perfect. The attention to detail, the adorable antiques, the comfort of the beds and linens. There were four of us and we each had our own bedroom and full bath. So comfortable!
The owners of this VRBO thought of EVERYTHING! We had dinner reservations our last night there and opted to cancel them because we didn’t want to leave the house.
When we are lucky enough to come back to Fredericksburg, we plan to stay here!

We had a lovely stay. We were in town for three days for an event at the museum and were able to take in some of the sites and activities in town. This property was perfect for our family for our entire stay. There is so much more to do in Fredericksburg and we will certainly go back. I'll certainly have this property at the top of my list for any trip I plan.

The check in process was so smooth and the house was fantastic! So much space, everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. The house is the most equipped house we ever stayed out. They have everything you could possibly need and even left us a welcome gift. Can not recommend enough!

This is a great location and so so clean!! We loved the house and it had plenty of room for all of us. We had ages 15 years -80 years and it was terrific. The kitchen had everything we could think of and it was so nicely stocked. We will definitely stay her again

This house totally lived up to expectations! Not a cheap rental but worth the price. Clean, plenty of bedrooms, fun layout with a good mix of community space and privacy. Really the only negative is that many of the suites lack showers (they have only a bathtub.) The host accommodated a special request. Would 10/10 rent there again if available!

We had a lovely time at this sweet, cute, quaint home with plenty of room and everything we needed for a ladies weekend.

We enjoyed our stay at the Corner Cottage thanks to the great location, the lovely front porch, easy check-in and check-out and overall experience.

Wedding weekend
Very cute property! One downfall is there is only 1 shower, the rest of the bathrooms are spa tubs. They didn’t leave toilet paper replacements so we had to go to the store and purchase our own. There was an empty coffee cup on the mantle and hot sauce in the refrigerator upon arrival which made us question how well the house had been cleaned. Overall the experience was great and I highly recommend.

Girls wine weekend
Everything was great the place was clean the beds were actually comfortable. They had all the appliances you would need for a normal weekend and they even had a little icemaker that made the best ice. The house is not far from Main Street but it is a good walk from all of the popular shopping on main. but if you want to go to Cross Roads saloon it’s on the street of the house so you don’t have to worry about having a good time and driving because you can walk. Overall great house great weekend and we would definitely rent again if needed!

Cottage Paradise
I fell in love with this wonderful house. It is so unique. There are so many cool details to this place. We felt like you had to explore the home to really see the whole place... every drawer and counter was carefully decorated and filled with trinkets. I slept so well in this place. It was so calm and comfortable. We enjoyed the front porch most of all. The fireflies came out every night at dusk followed by deer. It was magical. We cannot wait to go back and see more of Fredericksburg. This location was perfect.

FANTASTIC HOUSE!!!
Our stay at Corner Cottage was absolutely fantastic. It is a comfy and well-appointed home which is conveniently located within walking distance from all of Main Street's restaurants and shops. No worrying about driving after partaking of some of the excellent wines or searching for a parking spot in town. The house was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own meals. The house layout gives everyone privacy. Several couples can stay and have time to relax in their own area while still getting together in the kitchen and living areas. The front porch is inviting and a great place to enjoy morning coffee or that evening glass of wine with friends. We will definitely make this our home away from home whenever we visit Fredericksburg.

The many stairs could be a problem with people with bad knees.
The area was well-located and very clean. Since I was the one to occupy the bedroom suite that had an upstairs bed and a downstairs TV and seating, I could not gain access to the kitchen without going through another bedroom (and unlocking it) in order to go down stairs inside the house rather than having to go outside and unlocking another door. However, the property was quite nice and the outdoor porch was pleasant with its seating and swing.
