6 Full Moon is a charming Queenslander-style townhouse, completely renovated in March 2022. within walking distance of the beach, the marina and the village of Port Douglas. Our holiday house has everything you might need for a relaxing tropical getaway, with three bedrooms, two full bathrooms upstairs and a powder room downstairs, and a salt water pool just outside the front door. It is part of a small, secluded, quiet complex known as Full Moon Terraces. We provide bicycles, toys, highchair and portacot.

In tropical vintage, Queenslander style, it has ceiling fans in every room, french doors and screened louver windows throughout to allow breezes to flow through the house. All rooms also have air conditioners, but we prefer to have everything open and the fans on.
The downstairs is open plan and airy with comfy lounges, a new built in green velvet couch, great for reading. A Smart TV and DVD player. The dining area seats six comfortably, and a wonder boom to play your music. The kitchen has everything you need to cook at home with fridge, oven, induction cooktop, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, nutribullet juicer for making smoothies, coffee plunger, cutlery, crockery, wine glasses etc. Opposite the kitchen is a laundry with washer and dryer, and off that is a powder room with toilet and wash basin.
Upstairs, the Master bedroom has a queen size bed, quality built in wardrobes with french doors opening to a large, private balcony over looking the pool. Timber louvres, block out blinds, fan and air-conditioning; Enjoy the afternoons lying in the hammock on the balcony, reading your book. An ensuite bathroom is attached to the Master bedroom.
A second queen bedroom, with french doors opening to a smaller balcony, built in wardrobes, fan, air-conditioning and block out blinds.
The third bedroom with two king single beds that can be zipped together to make a king bed, block-out blind, fan and air-conditioning.
Directly behind the house is a deck with out door seating and a gas BBQ. This opens up to the garage where you will find four adult and two children's bikes, helmets, locks, beach chairs and banana lounge to take to the beach, and a hose to wash off bikes after riding on the beach. - you are welcome to use them if you care for them and rinse them off after use.

Accomodation was fantastic, nearly everyhting you could possibly want or need. Location in a nice quiet area that was not to far from town. The property manager was very helpful, pleasant, and informative. Absolutly no issues in staying there again.

Beautiful tropical style house with all mod cons and super comfy. Everything provided for weary travelers. My 2 adult sons and I loved it. We walked into PD and it took about 20 minutes or less and an easy cycle ride as flat. Absolutely love PD and my sons used the shared pool. Charlotte left lovely thick beach towels, sun cream, all the little extras that a lot of other places don’t. We would definitely return if we come back to PD.

We had a great week away in Port Douglas and this home had everything we needed for a family of 5 (kids aged 1, 4, 8). Comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen, toys and games and a security gate on the stairs. It was lovely to stay in such a beautifully renovated and styled space! We chose to drive to the beach as the short walk was a bit far for a toddler and crosses a busy road (most young families like ours will be travelling with a car so this was no problem). We would certainly return- thank you Charlotte for a great holiday.

Gorgeous house, 10 min away from beach, perfect getaway
The property was immaculate, the host quick to respond and friendly, and location was perfect - 10 mins walk to the beach and 5 mins by car to all the restaurants. The house is a part of a larger complex that shares the pool. Small warning: the neighbours are nice, but just make sure you close the windows cause the houses are quite close and they can hear you when you're talking.

We enjoyed our stay here very much, and if we return to Port Douglas again will have this as our first option for accommodation. This listing and pictures are accurate and everything was clean and tidy when we arrived. The location is excellent in terms of proximity both to town and the beach. There was nothing we needed that wasn't included - and having the bikes and beach equipment available was a huge plus. Communication with the owners was prompt and helpful. Strongly recommended.

Leslie and David provide a very thoughtfully and tastefully set up holiday villa with all of the needs of the visitor in mind. The villa is in a quiet, peaceful and convenient location in Port Douglas. We loved that everything was provided for us, and the tips on things to do were really appreciated. The bikes were fabulous and we used them everyday, and same with the swimming pool. One of our favourite aspects were the tropical plants all around the villa and waking up to the sounds of birds. The holiday was great for family bonding, there are so many interesting things to do in and around Port Douglas, and we hope to be back again!

We had a great time at this property. Clean and family friendly. Couldnt work out how to work the tv, contacted property manager who was extremely responsive. Recommend this place especially if you have young kids as it is spacious and well equipped.

Could not ask for more!
Had we known we would love your home and Port Douglas so much, we would have made plans to stay longer! Your space made us feel right at home. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds were so comfortable, and there was plenty of space for our party of 4 to spread out. The bikes were awesome! The many bars/restaurants made it hard to cook at home because they were so good! We appreciated ALL your suggestions of what to do. Grant's kitchen was our favorite for breakfast/lunch. 4 Mile beach was perfect and so different from our beaches in North Carolina, USA. We especially enjoyed walking the path up the rocky cliffs at the end of it (that connects to the park). Beautiful views! We went on your recommendation to use Wavelength to snorkel the barrier reefs- excellent day! There were only 12 people on our boat! Due to the time of year the water was rough but the reef did not disappoint! The crew was very informative and great to spend the day with. Thank you for helping us create wonderful memories!

Great value for money!
I don't normally write reviews, but I had to in this case as I really enjoyed and highly recommend this property. Not only is this property homey and comfortable, but it is also fairly priced. The owners so generously offer guests the use of all their good condition holiday gear - something you almost never find at a holiday rental. This was particularly useful as we had two small children with us. We had access to a porta cot, pram, high chair and so much more that we would never travelled with on a plane. This made our day to day so much easier. The stairs even had two children's gates, further displaying how everything was thought of. The little complex the unit is in is beautifully landscaped with tropical plants and surrounded by tall gum trees, further adding to the ambience. The only minor downside was being able to hear what your neighbours were up to and knowing they could hear you too (bad for us with two small children at bedtime). All the good aspects certainly outweigh that feature anyway.
Five stars through and through. I cannot recommend this property enough.

Beautifully decorated property that had all the facilities we required while on holiday with the hammock being a firm favourite. Great customer service with all our queries responded to promptly. Managed to fill our 2 week stay with lots of activities. Visiting the Low Isles, the Outer Reef and the Daintree were definitely the highlights of our trip. Will definitely stay here again when next in Port Douglas.

David and Leslie were great hosts and communicators giving us lots of handy tips prior to arrival. The property was clean and well maintained with lots of little extras which made the stay very easy and comfortable. We had an issue upon arrival with the wifi which was quickly rectified without any hassle which was greatly appreciated by our three Year 12 girls studying for exams. A great location - far enough out of the town to have no noise yet close enough to only be a 5-minute cycle for morning coffee!! Most enjoyable and I would thoroughly recomend this property to others.
