Highly recommend this place- it's spectacular!!! .

The location was amazing, right on the doorstep of the bay and close to everything. The space was brilliant and spacious too.

The cleanliness, facilities and location of this property must be one of, if not, the best in Stonehaven.

The property’s location was fantastic. We had a three year old who, as soon as he arrived wanted onto the beach with his bucket and spade and we had to almost drag him into ‘his holiday home’ for mealtimes. The facilities were excellent. Nothing was overlooked.

The only thing we disliked was having to leave. I wish we had booked to stay longer.

Superb location looking onto old harbour , Spotlessly clean throughout and cosy warm during a snowy winter break. The perfect property for a break anytime of the year. Plenty of amenities near bye.

Stunning views of Stonehaven, with property right on the harbour.

Fantastic location, could see the harbour from the two windows in the sitting room, had all the facilities we needed, bed comfy, kitchen well equipped, with shortbread biscuits and milk included and host was quick to respond.

All was great.

Great location and property

Location, directly at the habour. It's called habourview for a good reason. Also, there was everything you could need down to some cooking oil.

Some very very minor details that needed repair but did not spoil the vacation.

Time well spent in the heart of the best part of Stonehaven.

Location next to a pretty harbour. It was warm and comfortable. Kitchen has lots of utensils and was clean and easy to use.

key box was hard to find in the dark.

Quality of the apartment was to a very high standard and catered for all your needs with a nice view

Superb flat, superb location!

This is a total gem in a perfect location. Inside was immaculate with all the facilities you could want, with comfortable beds, a hot shower and well equipped kitchen. great easy access via a lock box, much appreciated access to a parking space behind the property, and just 10 steps outside to the beach, a fabulous cafe and restaurants/bar for the evening. Stonehaven town is just a very short walk for a full range of amenities.

Early morning work on the harbour meant I was woken by quite a bit of noise on my first morning but not thereafter. Not the fault of the property owner and a very small price to pay for such a fab location.

Love the house next to the harbour and next to lovely restaurants with electricity being the way it is it would have been good to have extra blankets in winter time a wee draft commi g threw the windows... but we absolutely loved it and will definitely be back xStonehaven is a beautiful place my sisters and i have very fond memories as we went there when we were little and my mum grew up there

we had a bit of noise from people upstairs from us and it kept us awake thats all we did t like

A fantastic location with everything you need for a good holiday break.

The location of the cottage right beside the Harbour was lovely. The interior of the apartment was very clean and well equipped. The bedding was good quality with very comfortable beds. We found everything we needed to prepare meals and it was really like a home from home.

There is a lot of traffic using the harbour at the moment due to work going on there. This is only temporary essential work. Occasionally heavy vehicles passed the window on their way or these works. It didn’t spoil anything for us.

This ground floor flat could not be any better situated to make the most of all Stonehaven has to offer. Firstly, and importantly, it was welcoming; clean, bright and comfortable. I cannot think of anything we needed that wasn't there; washing machine, dish washer, cutlery, crockery, you get the gist! There was even fresh milk and a nice box of biscuits to have a cuppa before unpacking. The flat is right on the harbour affording fabulous views out across the water and up to the war memorial at the top of the hill. The harbour is a busy wee place with young families playing in the sand, people out walking, many with dogs, others just sitting taking in the views, while others fuelled up before more energetic activities such as the cliff top walk to Dunnotar Castle. If you don't fancy staying in there are a good selection of restaurants and/or pubs to choose from some as close as a few doors down or across the road. I was so pleasantly surprised by my visit to Stonehaven and would recommend it as a place to visit, while also recommending our accommodation which was a ground floor home with spectacular harbour views.

Genuinely cannot think of anything I didn't like about the flat or its location.

Perfect stay, great location, 10/10.

The host was absolutely lovely and couldn't be more helpful. The location was perfect, the front door opens right out onto the harbour. The flat was immaculate with a lovely spread of coffee, tea, biscuits provided on arrival. There was a TV with Netflix and amazon prime alongside all the usual TV channels, perfect for our use! I went away with a friend to have a break from the city, and it was perfect. The town centre was a 5/10 minute walk away, which was perfect. The beaches were glorious and we managed to get some sunshine which was fantastic. There is a coffee shop right next door which serves fantastic coffee and morning snacks. I cant recommend this property enough, it is slightly more expensive than surrounding properties but it is well worth the money. The beds are phenomenally comfortable, as are the sofas. The shower facilities are great too. Can't say enough good things about this property. Cannot wait to plan another trip away here again!! For food recommendations, I recommend the Carron fish and chip shop as it is much cheaper and better quality than 'The bay'. The staff are lovely and gave advice on the best things on the menu! Thanks again to the host for the perfect break away from a usual hectic city life!

Slightly more expensive than other properties but well worth the cost. Can't complain as the quality was 10/10 :)

Home from home.

If you want a nice quiet get away on the East Coast of Scotland, this is the perfect place to stay. The hosts were really helpful also and made the stay very enjoyable.
