We had 11 adults share this space for a long weekend and there was plenty of room for everyone. Lots of family memories were made! The online listing was accurate regarding bedrooms/beds and there were no surprises when we arrived. The house is on a septic system so showers had to be staggered but that wasn't an issue for us - just something to be aware of. The host was very responsive to messages. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a lovely property, and we recommend 100%. The home is clean and well-appointed. The beds are very comfortable, and the scenery is breathtaking.

Beautiful view. Very well kept home with rustic cabin feel. Great selection of board games and books. Excellent binder with detailed information about the place and island. Fantastic communication with host. Highly recommend for other families looking to enjoy the island.

Homey from the moment you walk in!
Our large group had plenty of individual privacy as well as lots of space for us all to hang out together.
Hosts have stocked the home with all essentials plus so much more! They were very accommodating and easy to communicate with as well.
With a cute little cookie shack a few houses down and the beach access so close we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!
Highly recommend!!

Our five-night stay at The Timberhouse was perfect for our extended family of 6+ Aussie Yuki.
Nine of us gathered for dinner each night which we took turns preparing in the well-appointed kitchen. Good space to spread out, with upstairs and downstairs big screens--so everybody was happy!
We had a few mishaps, but the experience with Sig, the property manager, and Sheffali, the owner, was ABSOLUTELY OVER THE TOP. I have never received such care and attentiveness from any other rental.
Just wonderful!

The cabin was a delight for our two families. The space was clean and spacious. The children had many games and toys with which to play. The grounds and view on the water were simply fantastic.
It's quiet and peaceful and only a few minutes walk to the beach. It's very easy to recommend this cabin for a large group.

The house and property are beautiful. We were super comfortable and enjoyed every minute. There are so many wonderful things to do close by. We got lots of time outside enjoying the beautiful surroundings, and also really enjoyed coming back to this beautiful home each day after our adventures.

Other than an unforeseen incident with a family member who had to be taken by ambulance to the emergency room (ended up being a kidney stone), we had a wonderful time and would definitely consider staying again. Sheffali, our host, was extremely friendly, helpful and accomodating. Loved working with her. She deserves a raise!

This was a fabulous experience and home for our family. We were taken in by the pictures, and the actual experience proved even better than the pictures.
The location was beautiful with a water view, and a few block walk to the beach, which the grandchildren handled just fine.
The separation of bedrooms on 3 floors created some wonderful privacy for each of our families.
The living space with the large dining room table, and comfortable couches in the great room, made it enjoyable without regrets when we had 3 days of rain. Lots of fun gaming and eating!
The Camano Island State Park was a short drive away and wonderful for beach combing, kayaking, and eagle watching.
We're already making plans to return to this Eden place. And the best part, you're on an island that doesn't require a ferry!! And lest I forgot, gorgeous sunsets from the deck of the house.
P.S. There was wonderful, warm, fast, and hospitable communication and response from the home owner.
We'll be back.

We enjoyed staying in this lovely log cabin on Camano Island. There is plenty of space - in fact, we didn't even use 80% of the house. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything that we needed. The only thing that I'd mention to future renters is that the "gas grill" mentioned in the listing is actually a Blackstone - which is awesome, I just think that people might possibly bring different things to cook on a Blackstone, rather than a regular grill. We'd definitely stay here again!

We love this place! There is some differed maintenance (dishwasher needed repair) and house a bit worn since our last visit, but it has everything we needed for a large family weekend!

We had a great time and the view was amazing. We say a shooting star as we stargazed from the deck, and the sunsets were beautiful. There is not much to do on the Island but we did find the Park with beach and on our last day a whale spouted and swam very close to shore.

Stay in Camano.
the property was ideal for our family, with separate living areas on 3 levels - enough privacy and yet gathering spaces for all. The yard was a big bonus - with a fire pit that we used. We played games - the selection of toys there for kids was great. The kitchen was well stocked with things we would need. The owner responded to a few concerns we had immediately and satisfied everything. the island was a very nice place, and we were able to see most of it.

Wondeful stay at Camano
My family of five loved our time at the home, and would absolutely stay again.
Well-appointed, quiet and beautiful setting.
Good communication with owners.

Nice quiet clean home.
The home was spacious and very clean. We wanted a quiet neighborhood which has views of the water and was in close proximity to a beach. This home was a 5-10 minute walk down to a beach. Downhill to the beach, uphill home. The beds were comfortable and there were outdoor games and a nice firepit and fireplace. Lots of beds for everyone. Be aware the upstairs bedroom is an open loft to the downstairs middle floor living/dining/kitchen. Not a big deal unless you might have a large loud family. All in all, a nice family home well taken care of in a quiet neighborhood with a nice view.

Great Visit
Enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. It was a good location for exploring North Cascades National Park and Whidbey Island. I recommend this home for a great family trip.

Lady’s Week
We are a group of 10 lady friends who have been vacationing together, twice a year, for 20+ years. We so enjoyed the house and it’s amenities. With only one day of sun not much time was spent outside. The beach was not any easy access for some of us over 70 with bad knees.
Reading and playing a variety of games was a good choice for rainy weather.
The two things we thought should be addressed was the slippery shower stalls with so-so water controls. One lady slipped and fell landing on the raised entry. She was quite bruised. The 2nd is the rock hard pillows.
Loved the rooms and closets. Great kitchen.

Family vacation
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home. It was very well stocked for the whole family, from a Childrens play room to games for the adults. The nightly sunset views should not be missed from deck or the main living space. We highly recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing Beautiful Place
The views were absolutely stunning. Very quiet and relaxing. Plenty of space. The host left us a very warm welcome inside the home as we went up there for our wedding on Camano Island. If you haven’t been you must go and if you do I suggest you met this property!

Great retreat close to home.
My wife and I stayed here for a week for a workcation. The house was warm, inviting and extremely comfortable. The bed on the main floor was more comfortable than the mattress we had at home, so sleeping was no issue at all. The house overall is well stocked and ready to have you start relaxing the minute you walk in and drop your bags.

Incredible Cabin
I rented Tom's place for my family to stay in for my wedding weekend. I was only there for one night, but immediately fell in love with the place. There was plenty of room for everybody, and I have a couple nieces and nephews who had a blast there. Tom was patient with us, and very responsive.
Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Our family of 5 - mom & dad, daughter & son in their 20s and grandma in her 80s - spent 2 mid-week nights here in late summer 2021. More days would have been better if our schedules allowed. It's a beautiful home with wonderful western views and lots of space for an extended family or several sets of couples or friends. Great deck for relaxing or outside meals, lawn for playing (games included!). The kitchen is fabulous for serious cooking and the long dining room table lends itself to a big buffet or lingering over a multi-course meal. There are 2 workspaces for remote work if needed. The manager, Tom, is VERY responsive and welcoming.
A few things to know: 1) The upstairs bedroom and workspace are in an open loft, so sounds carry to it and from it; 2) The walk to the beach is quick but partly on a sloped, uneven trail that's not easy for anyone who's less agile. There is a way to drive and park, but it's not ADA accessible. The beach itself is rocky and narrow even at low tide. We didn't end up spending much time there other than for the walk and sunsets. We spent more time at Cama Beach Park and Camano Island State Park; 3) Note the check in/check out times of 4pm & 10am, which seem later than common. To make most of your trip, plan something fun on the way there or back, otherwise you'll feel like your vacation got cut short.
