Great location for Halloween

Great location for Halloween in Derry. In the heart of everything so could dip in and out, but surprisingly not too noisy! Pool table provided extra entertainment.

Basic accommodation but had everything we needed and plenty of room.

It’s a great location but…

Very close to pubs, restaurants, shops

Great location but the property description is not accurate. There is no garden, see attached photo, and there is only on street parking. There is a shower with a toilet and another bathroom with only a toilet so the location has 1 1/2 baths. Towels have seen better years and the house wasn’t clean; broken glass, bottle cap and dirt in the living room corners. Not quite sure why there is non-working frig in the living room. We tried to turn on the heating but it never turned so we used the electric fireplace for heating the living room. I’ve can sleep anywhere but the double bed was the worst; not much comfort but plenty of springs and flat pillows.

Location was excellent House was clean had everything we needed!

The beds were the only downside of the stay the rest of my group mentioned on more than a few occasions about back pain due to the beds - including myself Though taking the price and everything into consideration I would stay here again!

Waterloo experience.

Location to historical sites was outstanding.

Maintenance is needed on loose floor boards,, leaky faucets. Toilet seats almost slide off, need tightening.. Narrow stairs, intermediate landing are hard to negotiate at night to get to toilet. Definitely not ensuite.

Great location

Perfect location and plenty of room, the pool table was a nice bonus. Was easy to deal with the host as well as getting into the house, if you're wanting somewhere to lay your head down and use as a base while exploring Derry it's ideal.

There's wasn't much we didn't like, location wise it was perfect for us but could be a little bit too noisy for others due to being near to the bars and pubs.

Location is perfect for a few days in Derry. No need for taxis or transport, definitely book again. Travelled up for the world games and was perfect for what we needed.

It was a perfect base for my family and I to attend the Foyle cup.

Excellent location, everything is in walking distance. Loved having the pool table. Fully equipped kitchen so we could prepare food to take out with us or eat in if we wanted

No chairs for eating at the (pool) table so having to eat on sofa with plate on knee. Trying to get a parking space was fun at times - managed to get a ticket for parking round the corner although I know there’s nothing can be done to improve the parking situation.

Centrally Located, Clean and Convenient Stay

The property is centrally located close to bars and restaurants and was clean enough. The check-in process was easy (the key was in a lock-box) and the host was responsive to messages. The father of the owner came to empty the bins before we left and he was friendly and approachable.

The street has a lot of cars parked on it most of the time so it was hard for us to fit our hire car on there. The bedrooms were quite sparsely decorated; it wasn't exactly cosy. There is only one shower room, which wouldn't really be adequate if the property was full of the maximum number of guests.

Fun place in a perfect location.

This property has its own kitchen, so we were able to cook a bit. It’s also an easy walk to all sorts restaurants, so we went out as well. We loved the location. Also, the owner was very responsive. I had to contact him multiple times and he got back to me immediately each time. My sons loved the pool table, and we figured out that one of my sons needed glasses because there was an eye chart over the pool table.

This house is big. I kept thinking it couldn’t be real because it was so big. The trouble is that it’s hard to clean and I can tell it had been smoked in, so it had a bit of a smell. Also, the street was incredibly loud on both Sunday and Monday nights. If you are very fussy about noise and cleanliness, then this place may not be for you. If, however, you need a little extra space and you like to walk to fun pubs, the n this place is great. Derry is delightful and this place is an excellent deal.

It was very easy . Communication was great giving me full details and code. Made checking in very easy.

Parking can be hard but to be expected in city center. But was not a issue.

It was central to everything. Once I parked the car I didn't need to use it again until returning home.

A couple of very minor DIY problems that can be easily rectified.A drippy tap and loose toilet seat.
