About this chalet rental

Welcome to Blue View Chalets, great for all seasons! This beautiful chalet has the perfect amount of space for 12 guests and is conveniently located only a 10 min walk to the Blue Mountain Village. Situated across from the award winning Monterra Golf Course. Along with the other Blue View Chalets, the Vega was built in a classic ski-chalet style with an open-concept kitchen, living, and dining area on the top floor and unobstructed views of the ski hill from both the balcony and the hot tub.

The space
Enjoy your early morning coffee or late night glass of wine while watching the beautiful sun set over the mountains. Head over to the seasonal pool in the summer for a swim with the kids or enjoy the private outdoor hot tub. This chalet is the perfect getaway for any family or friends looking to take advantage of what The Blue Mountains has to offer during any season.

Kitchen:
The kitchen, dining area and living room are all on the same level making it a great place for families and friends to dine and hang out. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessities needed to cook including all cutlery and utensils, BBQ utensils & more. All you need to bring is your food and seasonings!

Dining & Living room:
A table for 10 in the dining room will provide comfortable seating for your group while dining and entertaining. Warm up by the gas fireplace with good company after a day of being out on the hills or during those cool summer nights.

Bedrooms:
This chalet has 5 bedrooms. Three bedrooms have a Queen in each. The fourth bedroom has one Single-over-double Bunk bed and one Single bed. The fifth bedroom has one Single bunk bed and one Single bed. Each bed is equipped with commercially laundered white bed linens, comforters, and pillow cases. Freshly cleaned towels will be placed at each bedside.

**The owner only permits either two small dogs OR one large dog. Permission is required prior to arrival. Pets must be house-trained and well-behaved. You must pick up after your pets.

**Your stay includes 4 parking spaces on our property. Please use the spaces that are marked with the number that corresponds to your chalet (for example, Aurora guests may park in spots labeled #1). Overflow parking is available but it’s on a first come first serve basis.

Guest access
The Pool:
The pool will be open this summer, however we will be imposing certain rules as follows:
• Maximum number of people in the pool will be limited to 20 at any time
• First come first serve
• Clients may use the pool for a maximum of 2 hours at any time, unless there
are no other clients waiting to use the pool
• No pets are permitted in the swimming pool, hot tubs or steam rooms.
• We ask all guests planning to use the pool to bring their own towels.

1) The occupancy of the property is restricted to the names listed. The management company must be notified by message of any changes to the occupancy. The number of people occupying the property shall not exceed what was entered with your original booking. This includes all children and babies unless an exception is agreed upon.

2) The person booking the property must be 21 years of age or older (excluding Quebec rentals), unless otherwise specified by a Guest Support Member. The person booking must always be present for the duration of the rental period. This condition will be strictly enforced, failure to comply may result in immediate eviction from the property without refund.

3) Parking passes, keys, and or fobs will be issued upon arrival to the property, these must be returned upon checkout. If not returned your damage deposit will be forfeited

4) There are small bins for garbage and recycling in the property. After your stay, please bring all garbage and recycling to the outside receptacles, this includes all alcohol bottles. If garbage or recycling is left on the property your damage deposit will be forfeited.

5) No smoking on the property, your damage deposit will be forfeited with no exceptions.

6) Some properties have wood burning fireplaces, these are not to be used by guests, if used your damage deposit will be forfeited with no exceptions.

7) A cleaning charge will be added to your property rental fee. This is to cover basic cleaning expected from usual and normal use of the property and to include all floors, bathrooms, beds and kitchen. Any exceptional cleaning that would be considered beyond normal and conscientious use of the property will be deducted from your damage deposit at an hourly rate. At the end of your stay please put any used hand towels or dish towels in the tub, and make sure that all dishes are clean and put away. Please do not leave dishes in the dishwasher, clean or dirty.

8) The management company is not liable, nor will provide a refund, for any stoppage of electrical services caused by extreme weather or other circumstances beyond our control.

9) If property damage occurs, the management company reserves the right to use the damage deposit at its sole discretion

By proceeding with this booking , I/We agree with the management company that I/we will use the property and its facilities in accordance with the above terms and conditions and/or posted house rules, and that I/we do so at our own risk of injury.

Had a nice stay at this chalet for a weekend getaway with friends. Good option for a large group (10+) to stay together. Close to village; about a 15 minute walk. Good views. Had everything you needed in kitchen and large open area for entertaining. Chalet itself was a little “tired”. It could use a bit of TLC .. upon walking in it had a bad sewage smell, the handles a little shaky on shower doors, chairs in kitchen were wobbly, crack in mirror. Not enough toilet paper, soaps or towels. Toiletries in bathroom were pretty much empty. Could definitely invest in ensuring they are stocked and fixing up things before they break and need to be completely replaced. Overall, nothing that led us to a bad experience!!

Check in and out was easy. Especially enjoyed the hot tub each evening. A few things to consider for future guests- tea towels and oven mitts in kitchen, and plastic cups for outside ( we did have our own but just in case) Overall a great place to call home for a few days ! Thank you

Great place!
Great place!
Enjoyed our stay, it was a great place. Had plenty of room for all of us. Great vacation house for larger families. Close to the ski hill but it is a good 10mins walk though. No shuttles running due to covid to ski hill. Managment was so very helpful. The private Hottub was an excellent bonus! We will most definitely return!

Very spacious, hot tub is a huge bonus. Rooms large. Two fridges is spectacular.
