About this apartment rental
Welcome to the WREN, a hidden treasure in the heart of Vail Village. This exquisitely appropriated, newly remodeled condominium is surprisingly roomy and efficiently arranged. Stylishly furnished, it exhibits a traditionally classic design with all the modern amenities. There’s a Murphy bed that pulls down in the living room for that last minute guest who decided to join your party. This predictably charming unit offers your family the right amount of space to be close. Speaking of close, you’re a ‘barefoot trot’ to everything that the Village has on offer, as well as, access to the best ski resort in the country. The gas fireplace adds a touch of warm welcome. The contemporarily featured kitchen with island and stools in the center is the ideal place for pleasant mealtime gathering. Premium parking in an outdoor lot for one vehicle is an added bonus. Majestic creekside views of Vail Mountain help to make the adorable WREN #201 an exceptional find. Walking is a breeze to the village from the WREN complex. All the shops, Ford Amphitheater, base area lifts, and restaurants are a short stroll, or you can take the free in-town shuttle that departs from the Wren every 15-20 minutes. This property is fully appointed with HD TVs, free WiFi, and a common area washer and dryer just down the hall. Don’t forget to check out the outdoor pool and hot tub exclusively for the building.

Beautiful, newly remodeled unit that was spacious and well appointed. Excellent location just a short walk to Betty Ford Gardens and the Ford Amphitheater. The living room overlooks Gore Creek.

The condo was perfect for our 4-day stay in Vail. The location was perfect and within walking distance of Vail Village. The patio/balcony overlooked the river and we enjoyed listening to the sounds of nature throughout our stay. The murphy bed in the living room was a nice touch since it added more sleeping space and was easily put away during the day.

Loved the location - close to town - views were great. Having two bathroom was nice when there were 4 of us. Suggest putting a couple of lawn chairs on balcony

Great condo. Very nice kitchen. Modern, updated bathrooms. Lighting in kitchen needed some work- it was kind of dark. Other than that, great

We read a few of the previous reviews. The owners have updated the furniture and bed, so those issues are no longer relevant. loved the balcony overlooking Gore Creek and also loved the fireplace.
We had an issue with the fireplace not coming on and the office sent Eduardo who worked until issue was resolved. Very responsive.

Overall the property was satisfactory but not up to the quality of other units at Wren. The property could use an update. The sofas were very uncomfortable as you sunk to the ground with no support. Additional plates , silverware and pyrex dishes to cook in are needed. This would eliminate the need to run the dishwasher after each meal. The large picture windows had no window treatments to keep out the cold or block out the light, which caused the unit to be drafty and was uncomfortable for my daughter who was sleeping on the Murphy bed in the front room (which was very comfortable). We did contact the rental company but we checked in on a Saturday and could not reach anyone till Monday. The did resolve the issue the install drapes. In the future I will only rent from owners who have the Wren as their property management on site. It took 3 days of our 7 day stay to resolve the issue and that was just to long.

This property was great for our 3 night stay in Vail. Everything was provided that we needed and the unit was VERY clean! We enjoyed the view of the mountain and creek from our balcony. The only reason I'm giving this place an overall 4 out of 5 is because the bed was not very comfortable, neither was the large couch. Other than that, everything was perfect!

Description provided that the Murphy bed was queen size. Hardly. It was barely a double size. As result our teen daughters could not share bed and one slept in on uncomfortable leather sofa. Very misleading from the booking Description and subsequently disappointing. Otherwise our rating may have been higher.

I’ll first list to good points. The property was in a great location. Walking distance to the village was great. The complex was nice and clean. The porch was lovely and it overlooked the river and up onto the slopes. The bathrooms seemed to be updated nicely too.
Now for the downsides. The place smelled terribly of stale smoke. It being advertised as a non-smoking room I didn’t think this was going to be an issue, but it was bad. The bedrooms blinds were stuck up. Luckily there were some curtains I could pull closed to help with privacy. The bed itself was very uncomfortable and the smoke alarm in the room was flashing a bright green light I could see with my eyes closed. It made it so hard to sleep I ended up sleeping on the couch. The couch was also uncomfortable. It really needs to be replaced. The middle part is so sunken down that you slide off the couch or into the middle if you try and sit on the end. The kitchen was pretty well appointed with plates, glassware etc, but small things like filters for the coffee pot or salt would actually be nice to have. I also feel if you give bar soap for hand soap, please provide a soap dish. Otherwise it just slides around on the countertop.
All in all I’d say it was ok. The location was nice, but I would be willing to spend more for a better comfort.
