About this house rental
This artfully decorated, filled with light, spacious, classic Cape Cod-style home is located on the ocean side of the Outer Cape, at the edge of the National Seashore. The 1st floor features one bedroom with a queen-size bed and a full bath with a shower. The second floor offers two sizable bedrooms: One is appointed with a king-size bed while two twin beds/trundles are situated in the second bedroom (if desired, the provided mattress converter can be used to create a king size bed by pulling the twin beds together). There is another full bath, with a tub, on the second floor.
The open floor plan on the first floor has a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a breakfast bar. The comfortably furnished living and dining areas open out to a brand new deck for outdoor dining with a table/chairs/umbrella and a gas grill. The living room has a smart TV, and Alexa for your individual login access, as well as a BlueRay player. Downstairs, in the large, heated and dry basement there is a ping pong table for your enjoyment in case of bad weather.
There are 2 desk working stations, upstairs and downstairs, should you need that option. For any laundering needs, there is a washer and a dryer within the 1st floor bath – or you may prefer to hang your laundry on the clothesline and let the sea air dry it.
There is a new AC split unit system, providing climate control in all bedrooms as well as the common living space.
Just a couple of steps takes you off the deck to an inviting and secluded backyard, protected by a natural berm and surrounded by trees, with a hammock and a private outdoors shower. Have your morning coffee outside while you listen to the birdsongs and breathe in the ocean air and, after returning from the beach, enjoy afternoon cocktails while you’re preparing your evening meal outdoors or awaiting your reservation time at one of the many restaurants in the area.
35-minute brisk walk -- or a 12-minute bike ride – brings you to Longnook, one of the most beautiful and sparsely populated ocean beaches on the Cape. Or, if you prefer the peaceful waters of the bay, the Corn Hill beach is 1.7 mile away; feel free to grab beach chairs and umbrella from the garage, if you forgot to bring them. Other Cape Cod National Seashore beaches, ponds, golfing, biking and hiking trails are all within an easy reach. Enjoy tours of Highland Light House, wine tastings at Truro Vineyards and live concerts at Payomet Peforming Arts.
There is a terrific fish market across the road where you can get your fresh catch of the day, right next to Box Lunch offering sandwiches, salads and top-notch lobster rolls. The Atlantic Spice Company and Truro Vineyard are just up the road.
As quiet and rural as this location is, Provincetown is a mere 10-minute drive with its sophisticated dining, bar scene, night clubs and live shows, fishing and whale watching charters, galleries and stores (including a big Stop and Shop market). 10 minutes in the opposite direction is the picturesque fishing village of Wellfleet with quaint restaurants, waterfront strolls and shopping.
This house has a year-round or longer-term rental capability, with 2-level heat system and a 1-car garage, also perfect for special holidays with family and friends. Walk the long, empty stretches of the beach during off-season, cycle the trails, start your days with outdoors yoga on the beach at sunrise, or bundle up in the evening for drinks by the beach fire. Work during the day (5G WiFi included) or simply recharge your batteries full time, away from the crowds and everyday hustle and bustle.
We hope we've created a space that's not a ''rental'' but one of beauty and tranquility, with ample creature comforts and privacy. We are confident you'll love it!

FREE WIFI ***SATURDAY TO SATURDAY RENTAL*** NO SMOKING***SORRY--NO PETS***Plenty of comfortable throws, pillows and blankets, however, bed linens and towels are not included and can be brought in or you can make local arrangements to have them delivered.

My family and I had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Anna contacted us to see if everything was ok and to let her know if we needed anything. I thought that was very sweet and thoughtful. The outdoor shower was an excellent bonus! We would definitely stay here again!

The house was spacious and comfortable for 8 of us (4 adults and 4 kids). The minisplits kept the house cool for lounging and sleeping. The kitchen was a good size to prep and make food for large group! The location was great to be close to Rt6 but secluded enough to not hear traffic.

The house and location were perfect for our family of 7. Anna was a pleasure to work with, answering all questions immediately. We were welcomed by a bottle of wine from the Truro vineyard, as well as a gift cooler bag and shell.
The kitchen was the best stocked one we have ever stayed in, having all the staples and every kitchen tool and machine one could ever want and more. The bedrooms were comfortable, the outdoor shower and back deck were terrific, and the location was close to everywhere we wanted to go, including both the ocean and bayside beaches. We would definitely stay here again. Our week stay was fabulous!

This house in Truro offers large rooms and many amenities. With the bedrooms arranged over two floors and with two full bathrooms it is perfect for friends to share. It is a private and quiet location but has quick access to Highway 6 for exploring the Cape, The kitchen is well equipped for anyone who wants to cook or make a sandwich with the last night's leftover lobster!

The house was great. All kitchen needs and wants were there. Felt like home. My 2 year old grandson had a backyard to keep busy and a great deck and grill to relax. It was our first
experience using VRBO. Anna the host was great, available for any questions. Would definitely return!

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The house was very well appointed and equipped with just about everything. The A/C, outside deck and outside shower were great. The house is in a quiet area and close to beaches. Anna was a great host and very accessible. We had 3 generations of family staying here and everyone loved it!

Lovely house with lots of sightseeing nearby
The house suited us well. More than large enough for two people (myself and my wife) with three bedrooms and plenty of other space.
This was a winter trip, toward the end of January. We live about two hours away, in the Boston area, but this was the first time we'd ever spent more than a day on Cape Cod. It's a place that's really quite unfamiliar to us. The Cape is very crowded in the summer, but it was very empty when we went. The house is near the end of the Cape, near Provincetown, which is supposed to be the most pristine part of the peninsula. We took several nature walks, some very nice, others not as nice because of the cold gray weather. But there was always the house to return to. We had to leave early because of a major storm that came through at the end of our trip.
The owner (Anna) was super pleasant and accommodating, probably more so than any other host(ess) we ever met through VRBO. She's a gem.
So in summary, we were very happy with the house and its location and with our host. If we wanted to come to the Cape again, we would want to stay there. It would be when the weather was warmer, but that's not a commentary on the house; rather on the seasons.
Thanks, Anna

Wonderful Cape Cod getaway
We had a great stay. We love Truro and this house was situated perfectly for us. It wasn't a great location and was very private and secluded. It was an easy drive over to the beach for sunset and we could easily ride our bikes down to longnook Beach.
The kitchen had everything we needed plus extras. The bedding was very comfortable. And I am a fuzzy bed person.
Anna was great. I would love to stay here again.

Great Escape
The house is fully furnished, roomy, and very comfortable. It feels warm, homey, and elegant at once, and was absolutely perfect for all five of us. The beauty inside the house and outside was striking, and thel ease of travel to beaches, walks, Wellfleet and Ptown - it had everything we dreamed of and more. Communication with the owner could not have been easier or friendlier. Highly recommended.
