We had a quiet comfortable weekend in a nice apartment

Clean, comfortable beds, good kitchen.

Shower broke and could not be fixed BUT owner did provide a solution-able to use the shower in the apartment upstairs. Situated at the top of a hill - didn’t realise till we got there - my mobility not great so maybe needs to be highlighted

one of the bedroom facing George Street is noisy in the morning starting from 7:00 am with the noise of buses and vehicles passing by. be mindful if you used to wake up late.

A great place to stay with easy access to the beach

This was a great property. It had a light and airy sitting room and well accessorised kitchen. The bedrooms were a good size and the property was generally very comfortable.

Fabulous!

Location is ideal and within reach of most of the shops, within distance of the beach and easy to get to public transport. The apartment is spacious and airy.

Great location.

Great location, very walkable to all locations; restaurants, co-op, pub, bus, ferry, train.

One of the double beds was rather narrow but the flat was great.

Delightful flat in the centre of the town

Although not large the flat was surprisingly roomy for 4 people and most of the facilities provided were very good. Location for us was great as we were without a car for most of the time. The flat is in the centre of the town and the bus station was only a short walk away. There is a good, regular bus service on the island and it is very easy to get around using local transport.

On arriving at the flat we just couldn't open the lockbox to retrieve the keys and had to ring the owner to find out how to do this. Luckily she answered straightaway and we discovered that the wrong code had been given in the instructions! We should have liked to sweep out the kitchen when we left but could find no broom or brush and dustpan in the flat. The first day we had a car and we found the on-street parking very challenging. The first night we just could not find overnight parking so went to the nearby Co-op to see if we could park there (as mentioned in the flat owner's instructions) but were told that they no longer allowed this overnight facility.

Lovely seaside accommodation for a stay on the island.

Comfortable and tastefully decorated and very clean. Great central location near the beach and high street. Owner responsive and unobtrusive. Great choice of places to eat nearby as well as seaside amusements and the train for the island.

An ice tray for the freezer would have been good!

Superb

The apartment was exactly as pictured and neat and clean. The host Karrie was very accommodating, and had some great suggestions. There was a slight issue with a bed and it was fixed within a matter of hours without fuss. I would recommend the apartment for the apartment itself, the location and the host.

Great location, easy to get around without a car.

Location good for all amenities. This is an ideal location if you don't bring the car as the bus stops are really close and go all over the island. The property is on a main road at the top of a hill which gives fantastic views across the Solent, you might just want to book a taxi from the ferry/hovercraft rather than hauling a suitcase up the hill. Nice and cosy and host kept in touch during our stay.

The plscevwas dusty and we had trouble with the television...could not switch on/change channels. Could do with a user manual or quick guide

Flat 2

Spacious comfortable apartment, sofa is very comfy. Great central location, shops nearby, short walk to seafront. Nicely decorated, very clean, powerful hot shower. Netflix available on TV. Owner left a bottle of wine and chocolates which was a nice touch. We managed to find parking on the street and also used the Co op car park a one minute walk way. Would definitely stay here again.

If more than 2 people staying maybe would benefit a more comfortable armchair.

Exceptional

It was a nice cosy flat located near the beach and shops. Host was really helpful and response time was amazing. We were supposed to check in at 3 but since I have 2 kids and was travelling on a hot day, she made sure the flat was available before our agreed check in time which made kids feel extremely comfortable throughout our stay.

Loved it, just right and lovely view down the road

Location excellent, hosts even left a bottle of wine and fudge which was a nice touch. Keys easy to access instructions clear.didn’t know how to work the tv in bedroom it just said no signal. Good having access to Netflix and prime. Beds very comfortable shower not great, couldn’t get it warm even, luckily the bath was ok.

Wouldn't stay again as property is very cold not suitable for families

Location was good as not far from beach.

Very cold in the property. I searched property high and low for nearly 30 minutes, was forced to message host who told me after a little while how to turn heating on took 3 half hours for it to go on and I had a 4 month old and 5 year old it was freezing cold also very noisy, the wi dows need replacing as they look blown.

Perfect !

This property is 10/10 . Homely , clean , comfortable with so many beautiful little touches . Tastefully decorated .. Just a perfect little get away close to shops , pubs , amenities . It’s a very well looked after property .

Couldn’t fault it . Will deff be booking again .

Great stay with an awesome location

The flat was well equipped and really comfortable. stayed with the in-laws and had a great time. the kitchen had all the utensils needed and the seats were comfortable.

The mattresses were a bit soft and the smaller room bed was a bit small for 2 adults.

strong smell of cannabis on street which is quite noisy and busy. parking would be an issue in busy times.
