Lots of stairs, to be expected though.

stairs are challenging, but worth it! one shower could have been cleaner.

Wonderful balconies over the sea and terraces. Fantastic roof terrace for views and sunbathing. Clean, well thought out living arrangements with bedrooms downstairs, kitchen and dining upstairs and shower room & toilet on both floors. We sat on balcony watching the sea & stars every night of 10 nights! Manuel always answered our messages quickly and was the perfect host although we never met.
Struggled with luggage on stairs but to be expected for rewarding views!

The top deck was an awesome bonus that we used a lot. The whole apartment was so nice and well kept. It was in a great place.
Absolutely nothing

The location was fantastic - there are many stairs to climb, but that is par for the course in Vernazza. The view was excellent from each of the balconies and we enjoyed the two on the same level the most.
There were not adequate cleaning supplies - cloths, detergent, laundry. We asked a few questions whilst we were there and the host was quite slow to respond

It was clean and comfortable, with 3 terraces offering breathtaking views that live up to the name.
That I can’t stay there longer.

great patio options… by the sea, rooftop for panoramic view. and town with sea views. spacious apartment and washer greatly appreciated!
wine was great but we would have liked to have coffee available… it looked like it was normally there but all of it was gone for our stay. patio furniture was also not cleaned.

The kitchen, balconies andremodeled bath were spectacular.
Too many stairs for older people to climb.

The bedrooms were nice, the living area spacious, and the views were incredible! There were 2 bathrooms, and a washing machine, but small. lots of steps to get to the property, but that is everywhere in Cinque Terre. Our host, Manuel, was outstanding!
Since we are American, we missed having a real coffee pot, but there was a small European one. We just got coffee elsewhere in the morning. Not a big deal.

The views are absolutely stunning! The home is large and charming with plenty of toiletries. the owner went out of their way to be accommodating and responded to messages quickly. Great location next to the train station.

Location fabulous with 3 balconies with wonderful views.
The host was rude & unhelpful, no one to collect us or greeted us. Apartment not very clean Kitchen dilapidated and badly equipped. A welcome back of some food items such as milk bread butter would have been appreciated. No wardrobes or clothes hangers of any description, we had to hang our clothes on the coat hooks in the hall way. No Bath mat for the floor when getting out of the shower. Only one hand towel and no tea cloths. No cushions on balcony furniture & we ran out of toilet rolls. All in all very disappointed.

it was in the heart of the town. lots of space and 3 terraces to view the town and ocean!
it’s not that I didn’t like it but travelers should know….. lots of stairs to even get to the front door. make sure you’re prepared to climb - even inside the apartment. the bedrooms are on the ground floor and the bathroom and kitchen and everything else is on the 2nd floor! we loved it!

There was no air conditioner and no towels!

The views were amazing. The town of Vernazza is also a beautiful place to visit. Fantastic location for hiking Cinque Terre trails.

Good location, beautiful views from the patios.
"Air conditioning" is promised twice in the property description. There is NO air conditioning (only one fan in each of the two bedrooms). In July, with temperatures over 100 degrees Fahrenheit, this was not acceptable. I never would have booked the property had I known there was no AC. The heat inside was unbearable. You simply cannot list air conditioning (twice) in the property description and then not provide it.

The terraces had great views of the village and the sea.
The stairs! The stairs are steep, small, and not lit well. The bathroom was on a different level as the bedrooms.

Only one bathroom

Awesome location with great views! The check in was virtual and easy to find. The host was responsive.
The 2nd bathroom was not working and locked. We were not told about this ahead of time. The host helped accommodate for this issue. We worked through it as best as possible.

The one good this about this place were the views, that's it.
Honestly, I wish we hadn't picked this place, we only had one night to spend in Vernazza and it would've been better at a place with a) A kinder and more helpful host and b) easier access.
Unfortunately our experience was not like the ones other guests seemed to have had. The host was terrible at communicating with us and at times rude. We arrived to Vernazza in the middle of a rainy afternoon, had no idea how to get there (while caring our heavy luggage) and the host couldn't be bothered to either meet us at the train station to show us where the place was, or even provide any sort of instructions to get there easily. I had to call and text for about an hour (all this while standing in the rain) until he finally told us how to open the door to the apartment (his excuse being that he wasn't getting my texts with the photo of our passports, which I had sent through booking and whatsapp at this point). I understand that having a picture of the passports is part of the policy, but in circumstances were you have guests standing outside in the rain, you can be a little kinder and just let them in while you get the messages (which he was not getting because of the crap service my phone had in town).
Be warned that this place is definitely not suited for travelers with luggage bigger that a small carryon, since you have to carry it up a TON of stairs.

Amazing experience, great host and all around true authentic Italian (Cinque Terre) feel.

Very well located in Vernazza and th room had an incredible view. The staff was very nice
We had some difficulties to find the appartment and turned half an hour to finally ask a restaurant owner for our way.
Our room missed intimacy, it was not completely separated from the other customers. because of our windowed door. We would have appreciated to have a full door with no window not to be awakened by people when they switched on the lights in the stairs at night.

Fantastic host. This place fits the spirit of the village perfectly. Room was clean and well equipped and breakfast was traditional and filling.

The location was great, right in the centre of Vernazza near all restaurants etc. The room was spacious with a balcony and good views. Our dog was made welcome. The owner/manager was very charming and let us have a bottle of his Prosecco for 15 euros in addition to gifting us a quarter bottle of Aperol. My husband thought the room was lovely- very shabby chic!
Unfortunately, for me, the room was just shabby. Could be wonderful with a little more TLC and attention to detail ( and a good dusting!). The bathroom facilities were extremely basic and shared with the owner and you needed to go through his kitchen to access them. Bit awkward in the morning when he’s in there preparing breakfast! The breakfast consisted of 3 pastries between the 2 of us, orange juice and coffee, no choices offered so tough luck if you’re gluten intolerant! The bed was awful with a very thin, uncomfortable mattress. The room is at the very top of the house up 2 flights of really steep stairs, ok for us but elderly or infirm might struggle.

Frustrating stay.. we wanted to love it but couldn’t. Waited over an hour in the sun with all our bags to check in. Had to call host multiple times before he showed up. There is no air conditioning in the room even though it was advertised. While checking in we were told there was a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge as a “gift” for staying. We usually don’t accept that but it was cheap with a plastic top so we decided to drink it one evening. Upon check out he tells us the bottle of Prosecco was 30€ and we have to pay cash for it. It was a terrible bottle and we never would’ve drank it had he not told us it was a gift. So frustrating.. it was nowhere even close to worth €30. Save your money and go to the store down the street and buy your own. The guy lives in the apartment with you so there is not very much privacy as your bathroom is off the shared kitchen..poorly advertised. The location is great and host was very friendly, but we left feeling frustrated. Also asked for a 9am check out which he said was no problem, and we missed our train because he was late. Save your money and find somewhere else that actually has air conditioning and will not take advantage of you.
