Nous avons aimé l’accueil à notre arrivée, le cachet du chalet ainsi que le petit déjeuner inclus.

C’était très humide dans les chambres. Dans une des chambres il y avait des diffuseurs de parfum désagréable pour nous afin de camoufler les mauvaises odeurs d’égouts.

Romantisch huis in een sprookjesachtige, prachtige omgeving dat kan meten aan de schoonheid van Sintra.

Het huis en de omgeving zijn werkelijk prachtig. Heel romantisch en sprookjesachtig; de foto’s doen er geen eer aan. Het personeel was daarnaast erg vriendelijk. Ontbijt beviel ons ook goed, uitgebreid assortiment met veel fruit en gezonde ingrediënten. Nederlandse eigenaar was prettig, wist voordat ik mezelf had geïntroduceerd al hoe ik heette en kon aanbevelingen doen voor restaurants en vervoer.

Onze kamer was klein, maar niet oncomfortabel.

Lugar entrañable

La ubicación es increíble y el desayuno muy completo. Además tiene aparcamiento para los que de alojen allí.

Quizás un poco el olor a humedad, pero aún así todo estaba limpísimo.

Charming guesthouse in beautiful location.

Charming rustic guesthouse in a lovely setting. Beautiful walk through to the old town (go through the park, not along the road). Beautiful room and good breakfast.

Our bathroom was a little dated.

Le petit déjeuner était correct

Odeur nauséabonde, sensation de présence spirituelle (les escaliers grinçaient toute la nuit) , la chambre 2 personnes pire qu’une cage de prison , wc et salle de bain à l’extérieur de la chambre au bout du couloir , vitre brisée, le mini bar faisait un bruit strident toute la nuit en conclusion cet énervement est à fuir

Perfect location, friendly and helpfull stuff

Beautiful Sintra nature: breathtaking view, forest sounds and mountain air, in walking distance from Regaleira castle and village centre. Very helpfull en friendly stuff: we've got the good advice and explanation about nearest beaches, castles and how to get there with value for energy/time and money (with Bolt/Uber taxi). Nice experience of living in the castle/villa with comfort, various and good breakfast included.

Mooie setting, maar..

Vreselijke stank in de badkamers! Geen airco, suoerwarm. Geen frigo. Veel lawaai ‘s avonds. Basic ontbijt (afbakbroodjes). Locatie niet ideaal midden op de berg.

חניה צמודה כלולה במחיר החדר. ארוחת בוקר סבירה.

ריח לא נעים בחדר. השתדלנו להשאר מחוץ למלון עד לשעות מאוחרות כדי שהחדר יתאוורר. הפניות למנהל המלון לא הועילו. לדבריו ראינו את החדר באתר טרם ההזמנה. הבהרתי לו שלא ניתן להעביר ריחות דרך האתר ואם הייהו יודעים שזה המצב הרי שלא היינו מזמינים. אכזבה.

Fantástico y muy satisfactorio

La ubicación buenísima, con parking incluido, muy importante en Sintra ya que es muy complicado aparcar. La amabilidad del personal y la limpieza, todo ha sido genial, lo recomiendo sin duda alguna

The staff is really helpful, kind and friendly. I love to feel the history inntjis house.

I am happy around but if you need an elevator than it us not the right choice.

- old vintage vibes , Close to the penna palace by car or it’s a 40 min hike or you can take shuttle for 5-10 Euros and mini market is walkable.

I got 15 bed bugs bite on each arm - which has made the rest of my trip really uncomfortable. I am 100% certain that I got them with my stay at the chalet overnight. I had none prior to waking up in the morning

Sehenswerte Stadt und Gegend und ein verzaubernder Nachtschlafplatz

Super Frühstück, Zimmer mit allem, was man braucht, der ehrwürdige Charme des Hauses, den so viele Gebäude hier schon von außen ausstrahlen, setzt sich im Inneren fort. Gastgeber und Personal sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Es gibt einen privaten Parkplatz auf dem Chalet-Gelände - sehr wichtig in Sintra! Nicht zu vergessen: 4 kleine Kätzchen mit Mama im Chalet-Garten :0)

Gemäß der Art des Gebäudes dauert es etwas länger, bis warmes Wasser kommt. Wir wussten das vorher, daher hat es uns nicht gestört. Mehr Zeit fürs Frühstück wären das Sahnehäubchen - 1h von 0830h-0930h ist im Urlaub knapp und für manche vielleicht auch vom Beginn her zu spät. Auch das wussten wir und konnten uns damit arrangieren.

In deze authentieke chalet/B&B kom je helemaal tot rust, temidden van prachtige paleizen en tuinen!

Chalet Relogio biedt een charmante belevenis op een prachtige locatie met alle bezienswaardigheden van Sintra binnen handbereik! Het ontbijt was gevarieerd en was een goede start van de dag!

The kind people who own this property-they are the best!! Very helpful

We came by train and it was up in the park going to Pena Palace -ok if you have a car -we had to get a taxi to get there. To go to dinner in the town we also used a taxi -extra money to spend-we did not realize it was not in town -could be our fault for not checking

Un lugar mágico para alojarse en una ciudad mágica

Todo está muy bien. El inmueble, las habitaciones (al ser dos parejas teníamos dos), la ubicación, las vistas, el desayuno… El personal también fue muy amable y atento. Mi pareja es celíaca y adaptaron el desayuno para ella todas las mañanas.

Mediocre.Felt the host tainted our impression of Sentra.

Bkfast was good.Location a little far from City Centre

The host was not overly helpful.When asked about a tourist attraction (castle) He neglected to tell us it would be closed by the time we got there, while giving us instructions how to get there.

Perfekt, um Sintra zu erobern

Perfekte Lage für alle Entdeckungen in und um Sintra . Parkplatz am Chalet vorhanden. Weiter geht's nur per Bus,Bolt, tuktuk oder zu Fuß. Zur Quinta relogio (15 min zu Fuß- herrlicher verwunschener Garten 3h aufenthalt), Biester gleich nebenan (tolles Interieur). Zum Ort und Nationalpalast 20 min zu Fuß. Dort vom Bahnhof fährt dann z.b. der Bus nach Pena. Gutes Frühstück, nettes Personal. Perfekt für die Erkundungstour für mind. 2 Nächte.

Guesthouse in perfekter Lage

Hübsches Guesthouse in guter Lage. Und nicht zu unterschätzen: es gibt Parkplätze. Bergab ist man schnell in der Altstadt und für den Rückweg kann man den Bus nehmen.Das Zimmer war geräumig und sonnig. Das Frühstück ist gut und lecker. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Erg stijlvol gebouw op een prachtige locatie. Erg fijn contact met de host gehad en ze deden een stapje extra om een latere checkin mogelijk te maken. Super service! Pluspunten voor de parkeerplekken voor de deur.

Het is een mooi en oud pand maar we hadden niet verwacht dat het zó gehorig zou zijn. Het bed was ook best gammel en kraakte bij iedere beweging. Hierdoor helaas niet zo goed kunnen slapen.

Sehr schöne alte Vila mit einer Terrasse und tollem Garten. Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Empfang. Wir hatten ein großes , schönes und sauberes Doppelzimmer mit Blick zur Burg. Das Zimmer war immer warm um diese Zeit. Das Frühstücksbuffet war wirklich lecker und alles ausreichend vorhanden. Sehr nah an der Altstadt um sie zu Fuß zu besuchen. Parkplatz direkt im Innenhof. Der perfekte Ort um Sintra und seine Sehenswürdigkeiten zu besuchen. :))

Ótimo café da manhã!. Local muito bonito.

Infelizmente o banheiro era fora do quarto, porém privativo. A água do chuveiro não esquentava e com frio de 11°a 12°c, a noite, foi terrível o banho frio..As escadas de acesso ao quarto eram difíceis de subir com malas. Contudo o anfitrião foi muito educado em atender na chegada e partida.

Bonito, pero engañados

Esta semana, se encontraban cerradas las visitas a los monumentos en Sintra por motivos de riesgo de incendio (publicado en la prensa y notificado la hostelería del lugar). En el momento del check-in, nadie nos informó de esto. Es lógico que la estancia en el lugar, se escoge básicamente por la ubicación y cercanía a estos lugares tan impresionantes para visitar, por lo que sobra informar al hostelero de la intención de visitarlos. De todas formas, fue incluso al contrario, nos indicaron que sin ningún problema podríamos acceder a ellos y nos informaron de los medios de transporte disponibles para ello. Cuando transmitimos la queja, los empleados del lugar dijeron que desconocían el cierre de los monumentos, pero el dueño (con el que contactamos vía mensaje por booking) insiste en que se nos informó de la situación en el momento del registro, cuando es mentira. Nos hemos sentido engañados, para aprovecharse de la situación.

we will stay here again but in a room with on suit.

The location was perfect just out of the busy town but only 5 min walk into the center of Sintra old town. On the main route up to Pena Palace. Hase good car park.

My room was listed as having coffee making facilities but this was not so. Also was listed as having own private external bathroom but this was at the end of a corridor past other bedrooms..

Exceptional

Chalet Relogio Guesthouse is charming, rustic, quiet and comfortable, and is close to Sintra's restaurants and sights. From the spacious outdoor deck seating we had views of a castle, and from our room we had large windows overlooking the gardens. Breakfasts were also very good and fresh, and included cheeses, meats, fresh fruit and bread. They also kindly provided us with gluten-free bread. We had a wonderful and restful stay.
