A real gem. Super comfortable inside and out!

Very comfortable place to stay, only a 20 minute walk to downtown or the railyard. Most days we left the car parked and walked to dinner. I worked while on this trip so it was nice to have the desk in the living room, and internet was speedy enough that it felt like I was working from home.

Comfortable clean eclectic home with all needed amenities - especially enjoyed the grounds - big back yard to rest and read! Will definitely come again!

This home was decorated in Mexican decor. It felt like you were going back in time. A very cute Pueblo close to Old Town within walking distance if you’re an avid walker. One bathroom was quite small but had a great shower and one bedroom lacked space for suitcases but we just put them in another room. We enjoyed our stay there and some of the quirks.

The house was all we hoped for for an authentic Santa Fe adventure. Close enough to the plaza and lots of good restaurants to walk so we did not have to hassle with parking .

This is a beautiful property to stay at. Peaceful and quite. The backyard is amazing. Very private. It was nice to sit out in with my morning coffee. Kitchen is well stocked. Decor was top quality. This is a place I would recommend and go back to.
Tip: arrive while it is still daylight. The driveway is hard to see in the dark.

Loved the rusticness and everything in the house. Only serious issue we all saw were the bugs in the tv room near the fireplace, in the bedroom and bath. Maybe it is time for a fall spraying! The oout side was weedy but not offensive. The master bath tub/ shower was a bit hard for two of us over 80 to climb into. Overall the place was wonderful and we would stay t
there again! Our guests also thought the place was awesome!!!

Four of us spent three days in Santa Fe and walked everywhere. Great shops, restaurants, museums, galleries, and neighborhoods. Lovely patio for reading or napping…except for the neighbors cat.

Beautiful home and beautifully decorated and 10-15 minute walk to the Plaza and many places we ate. The decorations in the house were purely a whimsical combo of indigenous, Spanish, southwest American and just fun to enjoy looking at. The house was much more than adequate - it was superb and we enjoyed every minute.

This is a lovely house located in Santa Fe's historic district. Everything about decor is entertaining. The house is in easy walking distance of the Railyard and Canyon art districts, where parking is very limited.

We loved our stay! Beautiful inside with a well-stocked kitchen, comfy beds and plenty of clean fluffy towels. Two outdoor seating areas, with fragrant lilacs in bloom. Perfect for an early evening glass of wine. Easy walk to the plaza. Highly recommend!

Excellent property! We loved our stay here and would absolutely stay again in this home and would consider other properties under the same management. Aesthetic was perfect and great size for me and one other couple. Super sweet details to the house like original doors to the patio and a gas fireplace in the main bathroom. Ride share is cheap and quick from this area to pretty much everything. There are a few minor things that would make this property next level that I’ve enjoyed in other properties and expected at a property like this (better shower head, coffee and creamer, having a corkscrew or wine key in the kitchen), but nothing major enough to truly take away from the weekend. Really excellent. Thank you!

This house was absolutely perfect for four people skiing in Santa Fe. It’s roomy, perfectly located, warm and inviting. We loved having our own four walls. The back yard is beautiful and I hope to return and take full advantage of it in the summer.

Nice rooms and office/Living and dining rooms.
Guest bathroom water - needed time to get hot. Master bathroom a bit cold, and there are steps down into it so careful at night and if you're elderly. Shower head could be stronger.
Really nicely decorated - felt very welcoming. Nice kitchen (though we didn't use it). We'd stay there again.

The house was even better than the photographs showed. It was perfect for two couples or a small family and located ideally for getting out to see the sights. I rented this house because I wanted a kiva fireplace and when we got there on Saturday evening, there was no wood. The person on call said they did not provide wood - it would have been nice to know that since we had been to Trader Joe's already.

It was our first girls trip trip to Santa Fe, and we could not have been any happier. Instantly relaxed atmosphere and spacious enough to provide space if needed. The location was spot on to all the shops and historical marks. We utilized the outdoor patio every night with a fire and making S’mores! We loved the rustic feel. The weather was perfect for inviting the fresh air into the home. I would advise if you visit during warmer months, there is no air conditioning so book accordingly. Lastly, the only complaint there was no screen in the master bedroom and the hot tub jets were not working, but it would not stop me or my friends to return. Well worth the price.

Perfect location
The property was exactly as advertised. The inside of the home is charming and comfortable. The outside is tranquil and relaxing. We enjoyed the evening sitting in the backyard listening to the birds and having a glass of wine. It was an easy walk to downtown and restaurants. Truly a wonderful weekend getaway… We will definitely stay here again! The staff was helpful and responsive.

Pleasant and accessible
This is a great colorful house within waking distance of the plaza. It’s set back from the street for some extra privacy, gets good sunlight in the main living areas and has a relaxing vibe throughout. Nice cross breeze with the windows open. We used the back patio for morning coffee, heard a lot of birdsong. Would definitely stay again.

Great, comfortable winter stay
My family enjoyed our stay and would stay at this property again when we return to Santa Fe. We were impressed at the spaciousness and amenities of the house. The property is very clean and well maintained. The key tourist attractions were within easy walking distance. We liked the place so much we decided to extend our stay a day after we arrived.

Exceeded My Exceptions!
I was thrilled to check into this wonderful home that totally exceeded my exceptions. The house was the perfect size for my family of four. We cooked breakfast in the well appointed kitchen every morning before we went exploring. The South Capitol neighborhood is a great location - close to everything. I spent a wonderful and very comfortable Christmas Day/week with my family at La Vida Buena and will book it again when I return to fabulous Santa Fe. Thank you!

Perfect Location
We enjoyed our stay at La Vida Buena. It was the perfect walking distance to almost everything we wanted to see in Santa Fe. The house was comfortable and felt just like home. We didn't take advantage of the outdoor area because we were too busy exploring Santa Fe. But, the outdoor area looked so inviting with multiple places you could sit and relax. We would definitely stay here again.

this is a great location and beautiful property! House and amenities well stocked. However ants are everywhere in drawers, countertops, floors..only safe place to leave anything edible was in the fridge, don't use drawers or cabinets.

Lovely House, Lovely Getaway
We loved this house! Totally comfortable and the decor is amazing! The property managers were easy to deal with and fixed a minor issue we had. Nightly price was higher than expected with fees and taxes built in, but we definitely would stay there again.

Ideal base for Santa Fe explorations
Beautifully appointed retreat in a quiet oasis near downtown and easy access to more remote pleasures (including Santa Fe Opera, Bandelier NM, 10,000 Waves Spa). Whether staying in to read or cook a fabulous meal, or going out for world class entertainment and cuisine, La Vida Buena (The good life) was indeed ours to enjoy. Having stayed at every type of accommodations in Santa Fe most summers since 1971, this was without a doubt one of our favorites.
