You’ll be totally immersed in the history and culture of the Desert Southwest when you make Bonitas Casita your vacation headquarters in Santa Fe. With traditional brick floors, thick-walled adobe architecture and a handsome kiva fireplace, Bonitas Casita brings historic Santa Fe to life for you and your guests. Best of all, your pets are welcome to join you!
As you approach Bonitas Casita you’ll see that a 100-year-old cedar coyote fence surrounds the property. There’s a satellite TV along with Wi-Fi that’s useful when you want to check out websites for area attractions. You’ll want to dine often at the incredible authentic Southwestern restaurants that are within walking distance of the casita. But, you also have a full kitchen within Bonitas Casita, a gas grill out back on the patio and a formal dining room with a Mexican Equipale dining set. It’s especially fun to dine out back on the patio where you have a partial view of the Sandie Mountains. After a day of exploring in Santa Fe, it’s fun to soak in the hot tub out back under the trees at Bonitas Casita. A good soak is so relaxing before bedtime. You’ll be glad to retire to one of the two large bedrooms in Bonitas Casita. Each features a king-size bed, ceiling fan and nightstands with reading lamps. The full bathroom with shower/tub combination finished in beautiful Mexican Talavera tile is located close to both bedrooms. Had fun! Nice place!

Nice place. Awesome location. Good communication with property manager. Close to plaza.
I stayed for a week with my 2 boys. Both about 6’1. If they had been 6’2, they would have been ducking as doorways are a bit low.
This place has everything you need. Literally a 3 min walk to the plaza. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved the place. It was beautiful and appropriate for our needs. There was an issue with the hot water heater, but VRBO and the staff were right on it and they came over Right away to get that fixed. It is so close to the shopping district. It was very easy for us to just walk down there and never have to drive our car anywhere else unless we wanted to.

This was a charming and very comfortable casita in historic Santa Fe. It was decorated beautifully and well-equipped. The location was walking distance to many of the city’s museums, galleries and restaurants and the outdoor space with the jacuzzi was a real bonus.

We enjoyed it here. Super easy walk to restaurants, but on a quiet street. The yard isn't fenced in like the pictures suggest, so be careful with your pups. We would rent this VRBO again if we returned to Santa Fe.

The house was exactly as described. Beautiful and clean. Walking distance to the plaza and easy to locate. The house had such a sweet character and felt like home.

The Bonitas Casita was perfect for a weekend getaway for couples. The home was beautifully decorated, and the unique layout with pedestal sinks in the bedrooms made it convenient for the four of us to share the single bathroom. The casita is conveniently located, and we didn't need to use our car the entire weekend. After walking around the city all day, the hot tub was a delightful retreat. I highly recommend the Bonitas Casita!

We really loved this spot. The lightning and decorations were perfect. Bed was super comfortable. Walking distance to almost everything! The only thing is the hot tub had way too many chemicals, so we didn’t want to soak in it. It is also not very private. Smoke alarm kept going off for no reason as well, like when we lit the oven.
It’s a beautiful home and we really enjoyed our stay here

This casita is an older property but we knew that based on the description and pictures. It was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the authentic decor, vintage wooden doors and cozy atmosphere. The bed was a little soft for our preference but not bad. My only complaint was that the kitchen could be a little more stocked. A few more utensils and large spoons and a baking pan for the oven would have been helpful.

The property was great! Old world charm, very close to The Plaza and Canyon Arts. The hot tub was a nice feature as well.

We booked this location to go skiing at Ski Santa Fe and it was in a perfect location to get to ski resort in a timely manner. It was also located close to grocery store. It was perfectly cozy place to come back to after a long day of skiing.

We spent a quiet few days in Santa Fe, enjoying the quiet, the hot tub and the snow. The little, cozy house was close to everything, perfect for conversation and short walks. The beds were comfortable and the furnishings a colorful delight,.

Wonderful location and place!!

I absolutely loved the charm of this home, it definitely represents the essence of Santa Fe. The details were amazing, the beds very comfortable, and just what we needed for "home base" for my son's wedding. The hot tube was a bonus, although the water needed shocking and defoaming. The management did have chemicals available, and would have probably come out to adjust it if I had asked. It was the only thing that I wasn't happy about. There is space for off street parking, in walking distance to the plaza and just one street over from the road to the ski area.
I will definitely be returning. What a quaint little but very comfortable home away from home!

My husband, myself and our two dogs spent three nights at this beautiful home. The pictures do not do it justice. It is decorated so amazing. It has everything you could want or need including tv, cd player, books, washer and dryer, dishes. Full kitchen. Yard has chairs, table, grill and warm jacuzzi. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom shower has great water pressure. Very comfortable. I would highly recommend a stay at this property. It’s close to plaza with all the shops. Would love to come back here. Also it’s quiet.

Really enjoyed the property. Very clean had all necessary amenities available and super close to the famous Santa Fe Plaza.

Check in process too complicated. House needs a DEEP cleaning and pest mitigation. House is dog friendly only to the extent that dogs are allowed-no fence around the yard. Laundry machines available but no detergent. Location is perfect and makes for a very walkable trip.

Can't say enough amazing things about this property. The location to the plaza is unmatched. I've been to Santa Fe about 7 times prior, and no location can beat this. We brought our 2 dogs and despite the partial fenced yard we loved it! We just put some of the lawn chairs in the open fence area of the yard to block them in, but they were always supervised outside. Our toilet broke one day (only 1 bathroom) and I called the 'emergency line' and asked them to send a maintenance man anytime after 5p to 12a while we were at a wedding and when we came back at 1am, the toilet was fixed! 10/10! Only thing of note, is my husband is 6'4" and had to physically duck into every single doorway haha. Overall, no complaints we already talked about how we would love to stay again the next time we go to Santa Fe!
Food places of note--- 2min walk to Santa Cafe (great patio). 5min walk to The Shed (best margs/enchiladas). 8min walk to the Plaza! 6min walk to La Casa Sena (amazing patio).

The house was charming and is just as it appears on the website. It's perfectly located for easy walking to the plaza, a variety of restaurants, shops and historic sites. The weather in June is very comfortable in Santa Fe. We sat outside a lot. The kitchen was very well appointed but no dishwasher. We'd definitely stay here again.

We wanted a nice, not-too-expensive place to stay within easy walking distance to the Santa Fe Plaza downtown, and this place fit the bill. It is not a high-end home, but it was clean and comfortable, cozy and functional.

Great location-walking distance to square. Parked the car and never drove it again. Perfect living space for gathering and nice kitchen for cooking breakfast. Each bedroom has a sink so 1 bathroom worked just fine for us...not fussy gals. Will always stay here when in Santa Fe!

This place was perfect for a get away with family and our dogs. It was a very cute place with everything we needed. We could walk to the plaza and drive to the museums and farmers market easily.
Only drawback was communication with the property manager. It took several days to hear back on a question about bringing our dogs.
And we received several automated emails confirming we needed to pick up keys at their office. Unfortunately we missed the one email telling us to ignore the other emails and that the unit had a keyless entry.
Once we got there, everything was wonderful.

Very nice property. It is small, but great for the 4 of us. Comfortable living space with a couch and 2 chairs. The gas fireplace worked well to keep the house warm. The greatest thing however is that it is within walking distance of the Plaza. If you are going skiing, it is within half a block of the turn taking you up the moujntain.

The house is lovely & in the most convenient place. The only issues I can report are that there was no laundry soap or supplies to do laundry. Also, I think it's time you invest in new windows. One of the bedrooms' windows are so covered in black mold it's really bad. I took a photo if you would like it. You should invest in newer multi-pane windows to avoid the mold & gung issue.

Great location...a bit dark, the hot tub while there was not an option as it is so exposed to the entire neighborhood. Otherwise a wonderful spot from which to explore.

Door to guest bedroom did not close completely. Minor repairs needed to tile on step into kitchen

My husband and I stayed at this property for 2 weeks to see our daughter who was in the Apprentice Program @ Santa Fe Opera. We found this property to be a great location. It’s only a short walk to the Plaza which is super fun with great restaurants like The Shed and The Plaza Cafe. There are unique shops and local vendors @ the Plaza and the Annual Indian Market was on one weekend. We didn’t have to struggle with parking or anything. There’s 2 grocery stores and more shopping about a mile away. The 25 Freeway is close so we were able to get up to the Opera easily. There’s a private hot tub at the house-NICE!. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and we brought our dog. Santa Fe is very dog friendly and we enjoyed neighborhood walks with the dog Dexter. He even made some friend with the neighbors while we were there. Easy to check in- just great!!

The house is wonderful. We grilled one night and had a small fire in the chiminea. The hot tub was delightful. We loved all the decor, and really felt immersed in the Santa Fe lifestyle. The location is perfect for easy access downtown. We were able to walk to several attractions. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone!

We enjoyed our stay. The house is small but nice. The location was great. Walking distance to downtown attractions, restaurants and activities. We were comfortable but there were some areas which prohibited a 5 star rating:
- some of the furniture is getting run down
- lighting in some areas is quite dim
- would have been nice to have a dishwasher
Overall, this met our needs and made for a nice trip.

Very charming and comfortable place to stay. You could not ask for a better location. A quick walk to downtown, but a half block from Paseo de Peralta with easy auto access to groceries and all other amenities. Hot tub, and outdoor area was a nice touch. The house has WiFi even though the add said it did not. It is managed by a company, so communications with owner does not have the usual fast and intimate response as other places I have stayed, but that is really a non-issue as long as you know what to expect. The place had everything so there really was no need for communication. The bathroom is tiny but both bedrooms have sinks so that worked well.

Property served our needs, great location. We were able to walk most places. Beds comfortable, living room furniture was a little shabby. Would have been nice to know that it was on different levels. Hot tub temp was 109! Yikes
