This home is very comfortable and is well stocked for guests, especially in the kitchen. The beds were very comfortable, and sheets and bedding were soft and cozy. We loved playing cards on the porch, and loved being able to get to the beach in 5 minutes.
There were plenty of board games and movies to use, and TVs were newer and easy to use. We also really enjoyed the use of the hot tub on the deck.

Was walkable to the beach (although there are a lot of stairs) and had all of the amenities we needed. There were only a few minor inconveniences with the key pad stopping to work part way through our vacation and the dryer and ice machine not working, but other than that this is a great home for a family or friend group and was very pet friendly by allowing up to 4 dogs. 🐶

Our family had a great stay at Looney Dunes. Very well equipped house - kitchen had every kind of appliance you'd want, plenty of pillows and bedding, and we loved the beach chairs and toys. Beds were comfy, water was hot when needed and all ages were comfortable. Parking is TIGHT and patio furniture has seen better days. Great location and quiet neighbors. We'll be back!

The most perfect front porch w morning sun and evening sun on the back patio. There was plenty of space for me and my 4 kids. Steps to the park/green space and a 3 minute walk to the beach and pool. Love the community of Olivia Beach and all it has to offer. We would definitely stay at the Looney Dunes again!

We loved the location! There was a beautiful park and walking distance to the beach access. It was quiet, clean, and had everything we needed. Overall a great experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Great location in a cute community. The living room furniture is very worn and not very comfortable, the beds were comfortable and the hot tub was nice. The kitchen was well stocked and the notes around the house were helpful.

I loved the views. The neighborhood is cute but if you are a family who needs space this may not be the spot for your next vacation. There is no yard and The neighbors are 20 ft or less away But otherwise the hot tub was great! The jets were powerful. Melts all the stress right away.
There was beach access to a wonderful spot with the most amazing tide pools.
The master suite was wonderful and spacious.
I suggest less dressers. More beds and tvs. If you want to accommodate pets i suggest a taller and sturdier fence.

VRBO did not get our reservation information to the Host, management company. We showed up and they didn't have us listed. After 2 hours on the phone we ended up having to drive back home. It was empty and we were told by the management VACASA that it was still available to rent but then when we finally got to the point of cancelling our original reservation and rescheduling they then said it wasn't available. NOT a good experience at all.

This was the perfect vacation home for our family of 4 (+ dog). There was plenty of room to spread out, the enclosed yard allowed our labradoodle to hang out with us outside, the beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped, and the home comfortable and clean.
We had two minor issues early on that required a visit from maintenance, and I give them a 5/5 on responsiveness and resolution.
The kitchen is very well stocked with nice small appliances (I want that toaster and waffle iron!) and all the utensils/pots/pans/dishes you could possibly need.
The freezer does not make ice, but 2 bags of ice from Safeway solved that.
The TV in the master is huge and has a great picture! Unfortunately, we didn’t really watch it and I would say that I wished the TVs were swapped, but then we’d probably never leave the house. ;-)
The hot tub was nice, although it did flash an error code which was deemed to not be an issue. It still heated up nicely and while we topped it off a time or two with the hose, it didn’t seem to be losing an excessive amount of water.
There is a home being built across the street and a few doors down. No fault of Vacasa or the owner, but we did wake to construction noises a few early mornings. Solved by closing the windows or wearing ear plugs. :-)
Overall, this property was perfect and we would definitely stay again.

Very cute house, quiet neighborhood and close to the beach. It was perfect for the two families we had there (8 of us) and our fur babies. The little fenced area for the yard was perfect!

This home is a very nice well equipped stay.
Plenty of room for everyone.
The hot tub is most excellent but could use a cleaning and minor repair as it leaks. But with the handy hose near by we kept it filled for our use.
After some exploration we found a quiet beach nearby. Perfect for a long walk and wildlife viewing.

For starters, we thought we were booking through VRBO. Turns out it was through Vacasa. We ended up paying a service fee to both VRBO and Vacasa. Why? We don't know, it wasn't ever explained.
*The place was Not worth the bottom line price at the end.
*We were told there was access to the beach, but not that there was many flights of stairs down to get to it. It's sad, because there was No Way our big dog could do those stairs, he's too old. We booked this rental for the reason that he could stay with us on the main floor. We even asked specifically about the floor plan just in case. At some point it would of been nice to hear that there was A Lot of stairs to get down to the beach.
*This is minor, but it was annoying. They provide a coffee maker, but no coffee. A coffee run was needed both mornings.
Just beware when renting this rental house that the bottom line price might not be the same as when you first chose this place. Make sure, if you choose to rent here that you take a screen shot of the beginning breakdown rate.

We spent three nights at Looney Dunes and I have nothing negative to say. Plenty of room for the whole family which included my husband, my two adult daughters, two grandsons, one son in law and myself. We had plenty of room. Everyone was very pleased. The beach was a short walk away and very beautiful. It did rain the whole time we were there but the house was perfect.

We loved our stay. It was a well maintained home, came equipped with anything you could need, great location and access to the beach! We loved the master suit upstairs, it was a beautiful space. There is a lot of technology in the house….and it didn’t really work at all. Signs all say to control lights with Alexa, but alexa never turned on for us. Had to turn on our lights the old fashioned way! Overall, it was a beautiful, quiet, relaxing place to stay! Would absolutely stay here again!

Clean and convenient
We loved our experience. We had trouble with the dishwasher leaking, but someone came to fix it right away. It was spacious enough for 5 adults 2 babies a toddler and a teenager.

Mostly nice, gross kitchen
For the most part the house was very clean and nice. TV was a little complicated but we got it figured out eventually. Hot Tub was nice and clean and everything else was great. However there was a nasty smell coming from both the garbage disposal and the dishwasher. We couldn’t even use the dishwasher while we were there because we would open it and the smell would take over the whole downstairs

Third difference property we have stayed at in Olivia Beach, and by far the nicest. We'll be back.
As advertised. Excellent house layout , we'll equipment, and convenient alley parking. Only downside was Alexa did not fully work. Our work-around was to plug the lamps directly into the outlets so we could turn them on. Highly recommend to others.

Disgusting/ Should be ashamed!
We checked in on Friday night and discovered the wifi would not hook up to anybody's phone and the hot tub had no power to it. All the breakers were working. We reported this Saturday morning, as I did not realize this was a conglomerate running this particular rental. I finally called directly, instead of texting through the the Vacasa app and finally talked to somebody that grudgingly said they pass on my hot tub issue. While we were out on the beach somebody came over and did something to the hot tub so it was running. The person who called at 5 was unaware that anything had been done. However there was a used hot tub testing kit open on top of the barbecue which was not there earlier in the day. We discovered that the hot tub was working a day and a half after checking in because of the pH test being left out. Regardless, it took till 9 p.m. on Sat night to get the hot tub to 104 degrees and upon getting in it we found two sharp crushed Pabst Blue Ribbon cans in the bottom of the hot tub along with a piece of metal that looked like a plumbing vanity plate. Needless to say, we paid a premium for this house and cleaning fee partly because of the hot tub that we did not use for more than 5 minutes due to the nastiness of the hot tub and it being OOS.. When I called Saturday morning I expressed my concern for the not working hot tub and also expressed I paid a lot extra for this amenity. No word on a partial refund.
Additionally, it appears the rugs had just been cleaned in the house as some of the furniture was in disarray and the curtains we'e tied up off the floor. It took us a minute to figure out that's what it was and we rearranged the furniture into a useable layout. However, there lingered o
a musty smell in the house. It was finally discovered after getting out of the nasty hot tub that the towels that the Hot Tub towels left on the washer were either never washed or left damp after being partially dried as this was where the smell was coming from. Disgusting.
Also, upon pulling back the top sheet on the master bed there was a piece of plastic or latex that was very stuck to the top sheet. I will give them the benefit of the doubt that it might have (?) been a wash Pod that did not completely dissolve. However, I feel I'm probably being too generous.
I paid a premium for a house with a hot tub, wifi, clean sheets, dry carpets and instead paid the premium for a disgusting filthy house and tub!I want my cleaning fee back Vacasa. Refund me

We really enjoyed our stay here. House was nice and clean, safe to walk our dogs around the neighborhood, close to beach and nearby resteraunt Dory cove was great to walk to. I liked having Alexa there to play music too.

My husband really enjoyed all the smart features throughout the home as well as all the helpful little notes right down to how to switch the bath nozzle from tub to shower. Our family is accustomed to using Alexa and really enjoyed the music suggestions on the fridge. We are true beach lovers and the beach access was minutes away. Two of us really enjoy cooking and loved that the kitchen had everything we needed. I highly recommend this home, what a great getaway... we will definitely book this home again!
