Everything was lovely, love the size of the home, but some area was not clean as it should be. But overall we enjoyed.

We had a great time there close to all the activities, shopping everything we really loved it.

The property was more beautiful than the pictures. Aunt bug's was fantastic and provided a great location for my family.

Everything was great for the most part. Nice and spacious. Got to see a mamma bear and her cub in the backyard on our 2nd day. The only problem we had was when we went to grill, the propane tank went empty right in the middle of the cookout. The spare tank was empty as well so that didn’t help. It should at least be mentioned somewhere that we’re expected to refill our own propane for the grill to avoid any inconveniences. Other than that it was a beautiful place to stay.

We had a family vacation here and it couldn't have been more perfect. The house was enormous, we had plenty of room for everyone. Half of us came from Florida and the other half came from Ohio so the location worked great as a halfway point. The house and area around it were beautiful. It is also close to everything without feeling like you're in a tourist trap. This was the best vacation we've ever had!

PROS:
2 full refrigerators and plenty of room in the kitchen.
Laundry rooms on both floors.
Amazing walk-in closets.
Bunk room slept 7 with a trundle under each bunk bed plus a sofa.
Golden Tee + PacMan
Tons of room and the kids had a blast playing in the open spaces. They liked it better than a hotel since they could be together and not worry about being too loud or running into strangers.
CONS:
The road up is a steep incline and in summer weather strained the engine on a minivan with kids.
I expected better soundproofing in the theater room that was sharing a wall with a bedroom...but the sleepers heard everything said or played next door.
With it being listed at 6 bedrooms plus a bunk room and 5.5 bathrooms we figured it would be good for 5 families to each have a bedroom and bathroom as a home base, plus a half bath in the common area.
Turns out the master suite had 2 bathrooms connected to it and was connected to one of the bedrooms. It was setup like a master suite with a nursery room connected to it. We ended up having 2 families that were good friends & had multiple kids share those two rooms and bathrooms. The adults stayed in there, while their kids 'slept' in the bunk room upstairs at the other end of the house.
The 3rd bedroom off the dining room didn't have a bathroom, either, just a Q bed, a dresser, and a tv. It worked well for a teenager, but he had to go to an upstairs bathroom to shower.
3 other rooms had connecting full bathrooms.

This was such a wonderful place to stay at. We were two families, and there was enough room for everyone to get their own room and bathroom! So many fun things to do for our kids (age 7 and under), they would just go off and allow the adults to talk and play games too. This is a beautiful home, the theater room was a hit. We also enjoyed cooking in the large kitchen. Would definitely recommend, so many placed to visit nearby too!

We liked the accommodations.

House has a nice charm about it. Plenty to do within the house itself. Man cave area could have been a little tidier, but nothing that hindered the stay. The beds are definitely firm. Too firm for my liking. We are planning on taking a group back up there and doing a “who done it” type night.

We could not have loved this home more. It was perfect for our large group of 20 women on a work retreat. Plenty of room for everyone, and lots of activities to keep everyone entertained. We will come back next year if available!!

Inside of this house is amazing. Inside by far exceeded our expectations. Very user friendly. Some non-problematic issues were screen porch was really dirty, garage (which we appreciate having ability to use) needed lots of cleaning, several piece of rock tile loose on steps and lots of green algae on asphalt drive. Outside really needs lots of pressure washing. Overall we really enjoyed this rental. Very private and lots of room inside and out.

We enjoyed our stay and appreciated having plenty of room for our entire family in this huge house. Hosts were very responsive and helpful with questions that we had and fixing any issues. The location was great - not too far from things to do yet secluded - we even got to see a bear in the backyard one evening. House was well cleaned which is impressive considering how large of a property it is. Kitchen was well stocked which a nice surprise as well. We found the beds to be uncomfortably hard and had a couple of family members purchase mattress toppers after the first night. Overall, we were happy with the house and our stay in the area.

We enjoyed our stay here and the setting was beautiful. There was lots of room for us to spread out and areas where we could all be together. We had a bear visit right in the backyard two times during our visit that we saw - only about 40 feet away from us in the screened in porch, but it was very fun to be that close and watch him.
You can see some of the wear on the property - carpet with stains, leaking faucet fixtures in the bathrooms and just some furniture pieces that are started to get worn. My aunt slipped and fell when coming up the steps to the front door on the first day, so it would be helpful to have some railing there to help those that may need a little assistance getting up the steps.
We tried all week to get the hot tub heated up, but never were able to get it hot enough to sit in. We did not see any instructions on it and had to guess how to get it to run. It would be good to have some information on it so guests could actually use it.
Overall it was a wonderful place to stay and we enjoyed it very much - we would stay there again if we were in the area

Good experience working with Aunt Bugs Cabin rentals! House was fabulous, huge, great for our large family. Next time I rent directly from Aunt Bugs and avoid all the VRBO extra fees!!!

The 8,000 sq ft home was perfect for our large family of 17. All ages found plenty of engaging activities to share with each other. The kitchen and attached dining areas were particularly popular. Unfortunately, sub par cleaning was a minus. Finding pieces of pizza over the desk area in the kitchen, abundant soil in the upstair dryer, left soiled clothing and food and wrappers under the upstairs beds were some evidence of the caliber of the cleaners . The property management team did offer to clean and we opted to do it ourselves. Repairs in the master bedroom baths were made in a timely manner. If more eyes on checking of the cleaning team were done, it would be a great location for large groups.

We had one minor issue but it was handled immediately! I really have no complaints. The pictures definitely doesn’t do this Mansion justice! It’s amazing!! Worth the money and the drive!!

Great house
Our family really enjoyed this house. Lots of room and things for kids to do. Kitchen could use a mixer and a meat thermometer. Our family cooks while on vacation. Service was great and taken care of quick.
