If you intend to bring a boat you will need to visit during the high water time of May 15 to September 15. The water does recede during the rest of the year. You should still be able to kayak but using the dock & having a big boat would not work during the off season.

This is a great spot to come and visit the lake. Have never seen a vacation property stocked so well. Paddle boards, Lilypad, and kayaks were a huge hit. Cassie was a great host and provided excellent communication including providing detailed information prior to check in.

This is a great house in a great close-in location to town with access to the lake via boat.
Our family really enjoyed the very large kitchen and expansive deck overlooking the inlet. Kids also loved the game room.
The owners have done a very nice job setting up the house for renters with significant thought into having the little details and extra items available.
The only thing that caught me by surprise was the access to the bunk room and having to go outside and upstairs to use the bathroom. Luckily the kids didn’t mind!

We were planning a family reunion and this property fit the bill, we had beds enough for everyone. The house was well equipped - linens, kitchen supplies & tools, washing soap, cleaning tools AND kayaks, fishing polls, paddle boards, games. There was a fishing/boating dock and the guys took advantage of that. Extra parking also available.
There was a problem with the garage door, a call made to owner and it was addressed promptly.
Everyone had a great time and left with lasting memories.
Thank you so much........

This home was amazing and well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and the owners had kayaks and paddle boards and floating island. There were many games inside, too. We sat outside for meals and the Blackstone BBQ was awesome. The home was very clean and we had great communication with the owner. I highly recommend this place.

Had a great time at the Lakeside house. Loved the kitchen, a hub for the family. The bunkhouse was prefect for our three teenage girls and our grandson actually claimed the futon in the game room as his space. Beautiful place, beautiful view.

The house was as described, featuring a well-equipped kitchen, two decks with tables, ample seating, and a Blackstone grill for our 4th of July barbeque. Cassie also provided kayaks, SUPs, and fishing rods for outdoor entertainment, the kids particularly enjoyed fishing from the dock. We rented a big pontoon boat and the private dock made loading and unloading a breeze. On the 4th of July, the street was adorned with flags to commemorate Independence Day. The neighborhood organized a parade, and our kids were invited to participate and returned home with big smiles and a pocket full of candy. In the evening, we enjoyed a spectacular neighborhood fireworks display from our deck. We had a fantastic time in Coeur d'Alene and the lake house undoubtedly contributed to our enjoyable stay, as others noted, the house may not be ideal for all groups as there is no inside access to the main floor or the bathroom from the lower-level bunkroom, but our grandkids seemed okay with it. I highly recommend renting this lake house for its location, amenities, and most notably, its owner, who responded quickly to all our questions and even called to let me know we had left some items at the house, and she promptly shipped them back to us, which validates her VRBO designation as "Premier Host". Thank You, Cassie!

Really great location, with lots of amenities and excellent communication from the host. Would definitely stay again. Although the house layout may not be ideal for all groups since there is no access to main home or a bathroom from lower level bedroom.

We stayed here with friends and family. The place was great, the hosts were incredibly thoughtful and tried to think of all details. We really enjoyed the stay. It's worth noting that the game room and the bunk room at not accessible from within the house, but only via external doors. Not a huge deal, but worth knowing ahead of time. Great hosts. Great house.

Cassie was an amazing host. The house was perfect for our family reunion. We spent a lot of time in the beautifully remodeled kitchen, barbecued on the deck and played poker downstairs. We definitely will be returning!

We were thrilled to find out how close the property was to town and how easy it was to get to anywhere by car or boat. We brought our own boat and used the included dock to enjoy our lake house vacation. The dock sits across the little private road that gets very little traffic, so crossing back and forth was never an issue. The house was very well stocked with anything you would want in the kitchen including spices, oil, foil etc. The outdoor BBQ and dining area was perfect for our group who loved sitting on the deck watching the eagles and other birds hunt in the calm water below. I highly recommend this house for any family vacation.

A close by retreat for our local family that all could attend was what we were hoping for and achieved with this quiet and well appointed home. The host was communicative and gracious and the property as advertised. The children were over the moon with the beach and water and fishing and video games.

We loved our time at Cassie's place on the lake. So peaceful and quiet, a great location to explore the lake while also being on 20 minutes from Couer d'Alene. Great floorplan with the open kitchen (gorgeous, new appliances and a HUGE island) leading into the living room. Plus the Blackstone on the back deck was a big hit. Beds are super comfortable and the A/C was a plus as some days were pretty warm. Everyone loved our time at this house, from my 77 year old mother down to our 2 year old grandson! The kayaks, paddleboards, games galore, corn hole...the list goes on and on. Highly recommend!!!

The kayaks and paddle boards (we brought 2) were loved by everyone, especially being able to use them on the smooth water in the lake ‘finger’……Thank you for sharing your wonderful property!

Family Celebration 50 th Anniversary
Great experience for the entire family. We came from as far away as Iowa and Minnesota, to Temecula, CA and as close as Boise. We ranged in age from 7 to 74. The kayaking was such a hit -- as much for the adults as the kids. Even Grandma and Papa got into it. Fishing off the dock was also very popular -- especially for our 7 year old granddaughter who caught "27 1/2" fish (?). We loved the fire pit, and the kids enjoyed the s'mores. We rented a large pontoon for a day, and it was nice to drive it to our dock to load our stuff, saving us the need to drive 3 vehicles into town. The lake was beautiful, and a stop at Shooters for lunch was a great choice. But, all in all, hanging out on our own dock was the best part of the vacation. We all would do it again in a heartbeat.

Great for active families with older kids
The rental process was easy & smooth. We spent most of our time, rain or shine, on the lake: paddle boarding, kayaking, and boating.
Any hiccup we had was quickly responded to.
The house was not as remote as we expected based on the pictures and there is quite a bit of construction going on, including right next door. Luckily we were busy enough it wasn’t an issue and the hosts were great.

Nothing Short of Perfect
I had family from 4 states meet for a reunion here and it was absolutely perfect! 15 of us were able to sleep and hang out everyday with out a problem. Tons of space, all the things you'd need at, plus so many other extra added touches ( Best huckleberry liqourice in the world! ) even extra stuff you probably forgot. Being right on the water was also amazing, especially since they had so many available things to utilize already there. Thank you Cassie for helping making this family reunion such a special trip for my family!

Couer D Alene Lake
The house upgrades were well done especially the kitchen. Home was exceptionally well equipped and owner provided some local Cidar and Huckelberry jam. Also kindly loaned us fishing poles which kids enjoyed. The toys and water craft certainly are an added benefit. Great place for family stay.

A perfect family property!
We had a great time at this property! The house was so well stocked with everything you could need and more!! The kayaks and paddle boards were an added bonus and our grown kids enjoyed just hanging by the dock paddling around. The kitchen is big and open and beautifully redone and perfect for large groups of people. I cannot say enough about the host, Cassie was amazing and super responsive anytime we had a question. I would highly recommend this property!

This property was awesome from the moment we drove up.
Great location, lake basically at the end of the driveway.
House has a great layout with plenty of beds and bathrooms. The kitchen absolutely fantastic, with a huge dining table and seats more at the island. Kayaks, paddle boards, lots of entertainment with TVs, games, pool table, video games and more. Check this place out, you will not be disappointed.

Family get together at the lake
The house and location are terrific. The pictures are accurate, reflecting a very updated, spacious and lovely kitchen, which is also extremely well equipped and provisioned. The living room area is, as are all bedrooms and other spaces, very nicely furnished and comfortable. The extra amenities, such as the nicely furnished deck (both for relaxing and eating) kayaks and game room are wonderful. Communication and processes with the owner were also excellent.
However, no place is perfect, alas. During our stay, we learned the house has a well (as in water) problem. This caused water to run out several times during our four-night stay. The owners understood the issue and did their best to make accommodations, from bringing us extra water bottles to reducing our bill by a fair and reasonable amount.
As a former VRBO rental home owner myself, I believe how a property owner deals with an issue is extremely telling to the overall quality of the stay. Cassie was concerned, responsible and attentive. So high marks there. I am confident she is working diligently toward a long-term solution to the water shortage issue.
All in all, I highly recommend the property once the water issue is resolved.

Protected Cove, Ideal Family Lake Front Retreat
Couldn’t say enough good things about our stay. I enjoyed watching my son and nieces and nephews playing in the protected cove the entire stay without having to worry about boat traffic. We are down a private (and quite) safe road with limited traffic. Having a boat slip was great fun for kids and convenient for our boat! Close to town for groceries and supplies. The house was stocked with everything you could possibly need. Multiple deck levels so lots of places for peoples to hang out. Game room for kids was awesome!!! More than comfortable for our group of 15. Bunk room was fun for kids. Kitchen remodel and upgrades were fabulous. All my sisters and mom were in heaven. Loved all the fun lake toys. Everyone said the beds were very comfortable. Can’t say enough about Cassie our host. Super responsive and available .We can’t wait to come back!

Perfection
Absolutely perfect! The property was just as described and all the information sent prior to our stay helped us know what to expect. The host was in contact and left the kindest welcome spread of smores fixings, pancake mix, local Huckleberry syrup and taffy and more. We hope to visit again! Thank you, Cassie so much!
