Had a great stay. Location was fantastic, we were able to walk everywhere. The room was a walk down so it was a big dark, but we were out and about so it didn’t make much difference. It was clean and a great location quiet neighborhood.

Two of us stayed in room no. 2 for five nights and that was enough. It is a beautiful neighborhood within walking distance from everything and we felt safe. However, the building is old and the smell was concealed with a strong deodorizer when we arrived. Once we had been there three+ days, there was a moldy smell that surfaced (concerning!). The kitchen and bathroom had been updated, were well equipped & clean, but there is only one double bed that's terribly uncomfortable. There is also no rollaway bed in the couch shown, making a 5-night stay a few nights too many.

Very nice place, but needs more light. The picture online makes it look light filled, but to get that look, you have to lose privacy. I would strongly recommend more bright lamps in both sitting area and bedroom.

I was disappointed it was lower than street level. I expected to walk up several steps rather than a few steps down from the sidewalk. It was darker inside than the picture appeared.

Stayed for a few nights to visit my daughter who is in college. The location of the apartment was fantastic, the neighborhood is beautiful and we were able to walk to everything we wanted to do. The apartment is charming and very comfortable and well appointed. Easy check in and out and communication with the manager.

We loved our stay. I did feel that a kitchen light is necessary, though, and would also like an oven. The heater is a bit erratic. In the plus side, Sonder was very attentive and quick to solve problems.

This is a perfect historical location. It is just as described. However, the building is very loud if the upstairs unit is occupied. Walking above constant until after 1am one night.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hancock Street property. Located in a convenient and beautiful area the property was clean, well appointed, and cozy, just as we had hoped. It truly became our home away from home!
