Terrible, couldn't wait to get out of there. Felt sick!

Not much!

Fridge freezer was extremely dirty and the ice lining it was stained with something old. Electrical connections needed replacing. Toaster could only use one side. Went to turn on the hot water in the shower and the tap handle fell off! Dead cockroaches in the room! This was supposed to be a four star accommodation. Admittedly it was cheap but it should not be given a four star rating. I would rate it at a two star at the most! They said 'no pets' yet we were woken by yapping dogs (plural) at 11pm. I think these belong to the manager. This is just about the worst accommodation I have ever booked.

Bed was comfy but the rest of the place was tired & worn out…including the fellow on reception!

Bed was comfy.

Looks better in the photos. The whole place looks tired, as if it hasn’t recovered from COVID. On arrival the bloke on reception was on the phone & gestured me to be quiet when I walked in. He ranted in front of me to a client on the phone about the pricing charged by another booking company. Once finished, he greeted me kindly but when checking my booking informed me that I should have booked direct & his rate was $95 compared to $130 that I now feel I stupidly paid. That’s dinner right there! He went on to rant about how much money goes overseas…blah,blah,blah! I just wanted my key! I’m a busy person, money is not an issue to me, I was tired & I booked through booking.com due to ease, past experiences & cost being fair. This made my ears prick up! $35 difference is not a fair cop for a long standing Booking.com client! Stupid small details…I didn’t have a teaspoon to stir my tea. Laundry was “out of order”…what if I had washing! I didn’t bother looking for the sauna…oooh!

An old motel that is a little rough on the edges but a very comfortable stay

it was comfortable, great location, easy to find and was simple. It was perfect for our short stay. Parking was easy, check in and getting into the room was straightforward and the bed was a great size. The photos are accurate of the experience.

It is a little rough on the edges. The lawn needs some tidying, and the signage felt a bit worn out. In the room, there were a couple of stains on the floor and the shower walls needed a bit of cleaning but overall these things were minor and it was more than comfortable to sleep in.

Great location - would have liked to explored the river walk Very helpful manager - our booking changed 3 times and he was very accommodating Room was very generously sized

Exterior of the property is a little neglected (weeding; gardening; outdoor furniture etc) with hard rubbish stacked around the corner Lack of any crockery means you can't have a bowl of cereal for breakfast

The property is easily located off the main highway, on our way to Qld. It was easy to find with plenty of off street parking available. Our host, Shane was easy to communicate with & made check in easy with our late arrival.
