I was looking forward to the location, set up, and stay. There was an avalanche and the passed closed. The hotel CALLED ME me to ask if we were coming - we were unsure - she offered to change our res or refund it. We were thrilled and asked for the refund. The gal was very nice. She said to request it through booking.com and the hotel would approve the request - so we gave up the room and di as she said. And then......they never refunded us!
We have yet to see the refund. The hotel will not approve the cancellation request! The hotel does not answer their phone or their messages from within Booking.com. They will not stand by their offer. It has been 2 weeks -- Booking.com claims they have tried but honestly they do not have your back either - not like airbnb. The hotel offered $116 back not the full amount ($50 penalty). They think they can just rescind their offer. Terrible business practice.
UPDATE: Sage is correct - they refunded Booking.com but Booking.com held our refund until the hotel put it in writing we could be refunded. Seems very scammy on Bookings part! I wish the hotel had told us closer to jan 17 (when they refunded booking) -- the chase to get an answer was insane. We thought the hotel did not refund us. Finally on 2/2, booking refunded us.

The hotel is clean and with a modern vibe. the restaurant / lounge is a cool spot to hangout and the food is solid!

The workout room was great

Great location. Cute rooms
4.0
Hotel room was nice, loud AC though. Very spacious but limited areas to put luggage and stuff. Very small trash can.
4.0
Clean modern rooms, and staff that cared for us well.
The restaurant was an attractive space, but mats were covered with dog hair. Food service and dog hair do not belong together for me.

Rooms were as advertised and well appointed. The common areas we’re comfortable and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

shower didn’t get hot enough which was a bummer after a long day of riding

Big room with lots of hooks for ski stuff and lots of counter space!

Loved the decor and vibe. Loved that they offer king bed with a set of bunk beds- great for families with kids! We also loved that it had Netflix!
It is dog friendly which normally is totally fine (I’m a dog person and have taken my dog to hotels many times), but multiple times off-leash dogs came out running and barking at my kids. They were harmless but still put me (and my kids) on edge.

Gravity Haus’ staff are friendly and went above and beyond. I called after I had finally found a parking spot at the mountain and realized I had left my jacket in the room. I called back to the hotel and one of the staff members said he was about to run an errand and would swing by and drop it off to me, unbelievable kindness. He said he wanted me to have an excellent day of skiing.
Their location is excellent with several dining options within walking distance as well as “lift” to the mountain just across the street.
Rooms are simple and comfortable with thoughtful design leaving enough room to keep all your gear.

a bed for everyone in the house, colors and look of the renovation. the main lobby, bar, restaurant area we’re inviting. the staff were friendly
some broken fixtures in our room, stains on the ceiling above the bunk beds, gross!

Bad bed

The location was great for visiting Winter Park, right in town near restaurants and bars.
The room was very small, can't imagine having this room if you visit Winter Park for skiing.
There is no closet only hooks on the wall to hang clothes. Tight living quarters even for just two people.
There is a trundle under the bed but if you use it there would be no room to move around the room.

Location was hood
The guys at the desk were great.
The gal one day didn’t seem very happy.
Almost unconvinced.

Almost everything was great. A little smaller than our room in Vail Gravity Haus with less amenities.
4.0

4.0
it was in walking distance to event
bed was a little hard

new, updated
gap at head of bed extremely uncomfortable and annoying, very dim -lack of lighting options, no towels for hot tub, odd cross over through a fitness class to use hot tub, awkward check in-sharing check in with bar service was unusual
